We had such a lovely stay. What a beautiful hotel in an historic area with stunning views from our room. The facilities couldn't be faulted and the staff are super friendly and helpful. A forgotten tablet was returned to us before we realised that we had left it behind, and a further staff member stopped us in the street, as she was leaving the hotel to check we had retrieved it. So attentive and so kind. A wonderful stay!

This is a historical building built in 1870. It isn't a cookie cutter building, either. The hallways and rooms have character. We were on the 4th floor and the room itself is beautifully appointed. Two queen beds with leather headboards, a nice little seating area, good size closet, and a very nice bathroom. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It is in the center of Old Quebec, so perfect for walking. They valet park which is rare for this area.

This hotel is wildly overlooked when considering its value to dollar ratio. The value is extremely high compared to the cost. Location is fantastic. Beds and sheets very comfortable. The rooms, and especially the bathrooms, are beautiful and IMMACULATE. So clean, I asked to speak to the manager to directly compliment her. Who does that when you’re on vacation? Breakfast menu was a mix of traditional and creative. Very good. Great staff. A little slow at check in, but compared to how this hotel delivers for the cost, no biggie. Relax and get ready to relax into high value at beyond reasonable cost.

This hotel while it was an older hotel was very nice. When I hadn’t arrived by 10 PM the hotel called to verify that I was still going to be arriving. My flights had been delayed about six hours so I let them know that I would be arriving sometime around midnight. There was someone available in the lobby to check me in, he was a bit cranky, but given the time,it was to be expected. Taking the elevator to the second floor once the door opens the immediate area is very nice it had a small table with some decorations and two chairs; the hall to my room was a little narrow (but being built in 1870 that’s to be expected), but very quiet. Upon entering my room it was quite large and it looked like it had just been redone. The queen size bed was very nice and also very comfortable. Also in the room was a chair with a reading light, and a small side table, dresser with a nice size television and a nice bench at the foot of the bed that you could sit on and put your shoes on or you could lay your clothes out on and there was a luggage rack that was great for putting your suitcase to get stuff out of your suitcase without it having to be on the floor or in a closet. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but it was really nice. The shower was just a low step in which was great for someone that had mobility issues, or trouble stepping into a tub. There was body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in large bottles that were fixed to the wall, it was great having those so you didn’t have to bring them with you and since I had forgotten mine I was glad they were there. The only thing I was missing was some lotion which would’ve been nice to have some as a courtesy. There were also plenty of places to plug in a phone charger and they were easy to get to, which was also very nice since typically in a hotel room the places to plug chargers in are not easy to get to at all.||Due to some mobility issues, I had rented a scooter, as did some of my friends, to get around the city with because the activities we were going to be doing required quite a bit of walking; each evening we brought our scooters back and we stored them down near the gym in a room where we were able to hook them up for charging. The next morning, we would take the elevator down and we would get our scooters and bring them back up and go about our day. It was very convenient and very nice that the hotel was able to accommodate us. Some of us could also take them into our rooms because the room was big enough. It was a little tricky getting them into the room because the turn radius was a little bit tight but in a pinch, we were able to get them into the room||The first full day in Quebec I went to the restaurant Les Mordus in the hotel and had a late lunch/early dinner; the BLT burger and French fries were very good. I thought since the later meal was good I would try the breakfast the next morning. I have to say breakfast was a huge disappointment, I did NOT get what I ordered and I pointed out to him on the menu. Unfortunately the young man didn’t understand English very well and I don’t understand French at all. What I ordered was the single egg eggs Benedict what I got was something that had pulled ham, a sausage, a salad and a poached egg and some type of potatoes. The potatoes were good. The ham was tasty. The white of the poached egg was not cooked all of the way. The sausage was not to my liking at all. I don’t like sausage and the little bit of greens that was salad was not tasty at all. After my order was taken I never saw my server again until I tracked him down to get and pay my check; my food was delivered by someone other than my server.||The bill was written in French which I don’t read/understand so I was asking him what went in each of the lines and he read them back to me in French, which I still didn’t understand; he wasn’t able to convey the information in English.||Overall my stay here was good and I would stay here again, but I would steer clear of Les Modus, there are tons of restaurants in the area.

Google
Historic charm and perfect location, but tight on space I stayed here for one night with my partner. The hotel’s location is absolutely unbeatable right in the heart of Old Quebec, and being the oldest hotel in the city adds to its charm. However, the room was very small. We struggled to find space to open our suitcases, mainly due to two large armchairs next to the bed that served no real purpose. Removing them would have made a big difference.

Google
We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Clarendon. The location is fantastic, in the upper part of the old town, near the Chateau Frontenac and the funicular which can take you to the lower old town. The streets of old Quebec are very walkable, with many restaurants and shops to browse and buildings to explore. We learned that this hotel is the oldest in Canada, but it sure does not show its age. The rooms are modern, comfortable and elegant for a great rate. The staff here is exceptional, from the front desk to the restaurant. We very much appreciated the service from Charlotte at the front desk. Thank you!

Google
The value you receive at the Clarendon is high compared to the price. We were in QC 6 nights, at two other hotels triple the price of the Clarendon. Yes, the hotels were very nice but not three times the cost of the Clarendon nice. This hotel is ideally located, very attractive lobby, attractive comfortable, recently renovated rooms, great staff, Note, the rooms are completely adequate but small. Bathrooms perfect. Rooms immaculate. If you need room to spread out or you enjoy spending a good amount of time in your room, definitely spend three times more and stay at multiple hotels that will happily charge you 3-4x as much. They are beautiful! If you love a well appointed, comfortable, immaculate room, where you’re going to sleep and then go out and enjoy everything this gorgeous city has to offer, book the Clarendon. Reasonable. High value.

Google
Location was incredible - right in the centre of Old Quebec. Hotel was lovely - rooms were clean, spacious and showers were glorious. Got a king bed with pullout double for our family of 4. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gym on site. Valet parking available on site but they shared that there was parking underground across the street for $17/day which was appreciated. Definitely recommend for a Quebec City trip!

Yelp
Had a GREAT experience from the moment I pulled up and the doorman helped get my bags. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place was immaculately clean. I loved how modern the bathroom was. The location was fantastic. I love that the room has a fridge. This is such a little thing, but it was so helpful to me... I forgot something in my car, and the Bellman gave me my keys and so I went to the garage across the way where it was parked and was so appreciative that he had backed the car into the space and also left plenty of room to open the trunk without banging it on the wall... I've never actually backed into a space like this, and was very appreciative that he had I've stayed for two nights on the second floor, and I had no noise issues whatsoever... from other hotel guests or from outdoors. I'm staying somewhere else for the second half of my vacation but now I wish I was staying here the whole time! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Overall, my friend and I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel was located in the heart of the touristy area and was a short walking distance to Chateau Du Frontenac. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly enough. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and luckily our room was ready for us. However, they do have a place for you to store your luggages if needed. Weirdly, besides the awesome location, I loved the hand sanitizer (citrusy orange scent) they had in front of the elevators. :) Highly recommend staying here!

Yelp
Clean, beautifully appointed rooms; affiliated restaurant serves delicious cuisine; and the desk clerks are helpful and polite. It's also located in a beautiful part of Quebec City, making it a great place to launch a walking tour.

Yelp
Wow, just wow! This place is truly a 4-star! Rooms we had is a superior 2 queens and is wide enough with a high ceiling and a large window. Bathroom is iconic! A modern, plush and spacious one! See my pics. Housecleaning service is superb! We requested for a room clean and next thing we know, looks like we checked again into a new room. Bravo! Hotel is located at the center. Walking distance to everything! They do have a valet parking cad $30 per night. They also have a restaurant on the lobby. Concierge speaks english, accomodating and helpful. There is this man who works on nights, i forgot his name but he is knowledgeable of the area and tries to help my baby who is having low grade fever by looking at the first aid box.

Yelp
I've stayed in many hotels around the world and the main thing that I demand is a friendly staff that makes my visit worthwhile. This establishment meets that qualification. Centrally located in the city, it's a very short walk to all of the key sites in Québec, especially the top-notch restaurants.

Yelp
We had a great stay here. The view from our room was amazing! The room was a bit small as some have mentioned, but what you would expect for a historic hotel, in a historic city. If you are staying in this area you probably are not spending much time in your room.

Yelp
Nice hotel but untrustworthy front desk. I asked them if I should book an Uber for a 4AM pickup for the airport. They said it would be better for them to order me a taxi. I got downstairs at 4AM. No taxi and the front desk has been empty for a half hour

Yelp
This is only for the jazz club at Hotel Clarendon. It was a great little place. It would be perfect for a date or a get-together with friends. The night we were there they had a guitar and vocal duo playing standards and it was charming.

Yelp
Stumbled into this beautiful hotel restaurant today, hungry as I was still on East Coast time. It was so early that the bar had only a few people in it and the restaurant was empty but for us. This is a spacious, gorgeous place with excellent service. We ordered: Vegetable soup which ended up being some form of a light leek soup. This was scrumptious with the warm mini ciabatta they brought to the table. 5/5 The goat cheese and vegetable lasagna was served in a pool of yummy tomato sauce and balsamic vinegar. 4/5 The salmon with risotto was good, but the risotto was quite al dente. 3/5. Service 5/5

Yelp
This place is a gem. We stayed two nights with our 20 month old. The double queen room was large and we had space for the pack n' play and stroller. Clean, a bit old, but clean. It is right in a prime location for sightseeing and parking with the valet was a breeze and a great deal. $25/day with unlimited in's and out's. The front desk and valet are funny, friendly, and very helpful. We considered Chateau Du Frontenac and heard from other travelers that it was not worth it. The Clarendon, on the other hand, definitely is worth it.

Yelp
Outstanding stay! Stayed here for 5 nights just after Christmas and couldn't be more pleased. The location was spectacular! We had two rooms, one for the kids and one for my wife and I and they were perfect. Clean and classy. Service in the hotel was spectacular! Anytime we called for anything at all it was to our room within minutes! Front desk was helpful and spoke fluent English. Perhaps the stars of the show were the guys at valet. Again, multilingual, always pleasant and extremely helpful! ps DO NOT EAT at Parmesan. Tourist trap. If you want to be at the center of it all, and I mean ALL!!!, at an affordable price with the right people around you and in a clean and classic environment look no further. We will definitely be back and would recommend a million times over. Thank you for making our stay magical!

Yelp
Le calendon The location is fabulous and the front desk so organized. Clean, historic, quaint. Quick tips: -check in is at 4pm, so leave your bags with valet til then -parking is $25/day. In/out. Valet only. (There is $18/day across street but it does not offer in/out privileges) -restaurant is expensive.... Every food place is (except ashton, subway, mcdonald's, tim horton which are all within walking distance) -small grocery/convenience store 2 walk min away -laundry mat 10 min walk away -no microwave or fridge -ice on 5th floor, no signs -decent wifi -we stayed a room which offered the most amazing view of chateau frontenac and fairly quiet

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, located right in the centre of Vieux Quebec. It was walking distance to everything! The room size is quite small, but that didn't bother us at all. Comfortable bed, quiet rooms, great water pressure in the shower. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Hotel Clarendon is perfectly located in old town Quebec. We went for the Christmas markets, which were right outside the hotel door! Our room was charming and clean, and the breakfast every morning was delicious. I would definitely recommend to stay here! Very European feel, and all the staff were nice and helpful!

Yelp
Surprised it took so long for someone to review this hotel. Many visitors to Quebec City stay at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. On one visit to the Walled City, the Chateau Frontenac was sold out and I had to scramble for another room location - thus the Hotel Clarendon right around the corner. While you won't look out on the St. Lawrence River and you won't pay those Chateau Frontenac prices, you will get a perfectly reasonable hotel room close to the action. They even have underground parking. Recommended - whether the Chateau Frontenac is booked solid or not.

Yelp
ROOM (320 - Full Bed) FRIDGE (No) MICROWAVE (No) COFFEE POT (Yes) TV (RCA 27" CRT) DESK (No) COUCH (No) INTERNET (Free - Wifi) PARKING (Street, Valet, or Pay Lot) RATE (September, 2012 - $179 CAD/night) PROS - Historical Building (guess that's a Pro?) - High ceilings - Wifi is pretty fast and consistent CONS - Tiny room! - Light Switch's outlets are confusing - No Desk - Old - No real amenities - A/C either sucks or doesn't work. - No Business Center NOTES The hotel is old, like 1920's old. To some it's considered "historical" or "a classic." I just see it as old. The hallways are just like the really old apartments in Chicago near the lake, but at least it smells better! For such an old looking room, it has "some" modern amenities, like a coffee maker, phone, alarm clock, and keycard entrance. It also has an iron & board, which isn't always a given! But that's it! The carpet's old, the TV's old, the dresser's old, the chair is old, the bathroom floor is old, and even the window's old! I cut my thumb on the broken screw that was supposed to be the handle, plus the thing slides to the left and there's no screen! I went in the fall, so there weren't any bugs, but I imagine if you tried to open the window in the summer, you might have mosquitoes in your room. Speaking of opening the window, the A/C control in the room is absolutely useless. I walked in the room and it was stuffy, the A/C was on cool, but no matter what temp I set it, it wouldn't start...ever! Also, I'm sure I make a tiny minority of people who rent a room here for work, but there is no desk in the room! There's a small round table, much like one you might find at a Days Inn, but it's shoved into the corner so you can't even really use it for anything! The room's tiny! It's like a 15'x20' room, but put a useless table, a dresser with a TV, fullsize bed, and a chair, and you barely even have enough space to walk from the door to the side of the bed! I can't imagine what it'd be like to have 2 people here! AND the bathroom. Has just enough space to fit a tub, sink, toilet, and space for the door to swing. No more, no less. I had no problems, but I've heard other people complain that the shower goes from hot to cold randomly. Oh, and just FYI, there is a valet, but they're only available from 7am to 11pm. Why do I tell you that? If you valeted your car last night, but need to leave at 6am this morning...too bad, so sad! Enjoy the sunrise while you call work and tell them why you're going to be late today. NOT FOR BUSINESS I may have had a different opinion if I was here to see the river, or if I was a history buff. But I'm here for work, and I can see that outside of this walled city, there is a Hilton highrise, and I would MUCH rather be there! It's not a terrible hotel, I mean, it does the job, but a front desk and a valet that both close at night is annoying!

Yelp
Location: excellent Service: excellent Room: cushy pillows, comfy bed, strong a/c, clean, free wifi Problems: 1) shower water temperature fluctuates when neighboring guests use water 2) walls are thin, you can hear mostly everything

Yelp
Clean, lovely hotel, my experience was not at all like the reviews from 2012 or earlier. I believe the hotel may have renovated since then. We booked an economy room, generously sized for 3 adults. Prior to arriving, I requested a room facing outward vs the interior courtyard. Since the room is located on the 2nd floor, our view is of the rooftops. Staff were friendly, leave car keys with Concierge for $25/day parking. This is better than hauling your luggage from the nearest public lot 1/2 mile away that costs $17/day. Loved the plush European down duvets, 4 down pillows per bed, free wifi, newish tub, and 37" TV. The economy room does not come with a fridge, only coffee maker (coffee provided is not so good, so I would recommend having lattes at a local bistro). Location is fantastic, within walking distance of a great selection of restaurants just 2 blocks away (exit hotel, turn right at the hotel corner and follow this street to Rue St Louis - or any eateries on Rue St Anne). Our room could use some touch up paint here and there but this is incidental. Overall, I highly rec. Hotel Clarendon. Note: this hotel has 143 rooms so experience will differ greatly vs some of the smaller hotels with less rooms.

Yelp
First stay after wushing for years to visit this beautiful old hotel in the heart of the old part of the capital! It is gorgeous and quaint (yup, the room is quite small).

Yelp
Extremely disorganized, rude concierge, see post on TripAdvisor for more details. Will never return to this hotel.

Yelp
Hotel Clarendon Quebec City, Quebec, Canada 57 Rue Sainte-Anne, Quebec, QC, Canada G1R3X4 1-888-222-3304/ 418-692-2480 7 STORY SMALL 1870's REFURBISHED Renovated Rustic hotel in HISTORIC old Quebec City near city hall is clean, with friendly, courteous service. Yes. Though it is refurbished and renovated, you can still tell it is 1870's. IF that is a problem for you, this is not for you. For us, we overlooked its TRADE-OFFS, for what was 'more-positive' for us. This is a "close-call". Again. You would make this choice of a small, clean, friendly, rustic hotel for its LOCATION AND CONVENIENCE. Here is what I mean. Yes, there are so many alternate, higher priced, fancier places to stay at that you might be happier in? This one happens to be right in the heart of the historic old Quebec City. So, what does that mean? LOCATION AND CONVENIENCE TO EVERYTHING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. No car needed. Old Quebec City right outside your hotel all within walking distance to savor old world charm in the French Section of Canada. You think and swear you are in France if you didn't know any better. IN LIEU OF THE $25.XX PER PARKING NIGHT, you could take a taxi from the Airport, and, everything you wish to do and site-see is a merely, only, just a short-walk away. Step out and walk around the vintage sites at your leisure. Walk past the "tour-site" "staging area" and decide which "tour company" you might wish to choose from that suits your needs. Get on then; or, finish your walking tour then get on. WE choose to take a short walk out of the hotel right to the nearby tour site section and take the formal tour first. Once we got our bearings and knew where we were, and where 'everything else was', when we finished the formal bus tour, we dined, then took in half a walking tour one day and the remaining half the next. 3 days is all you really need to satisfy you.

Yelp
Stayed there for an evening back in July 2017. The vehicle was packed full of my daughters stuff, including her hockey gear and hockey stick. We used Valet parking to have the added security since we were not going to unpack the entire car for one night. Next morning, the hockey stick was missing. These hockey sticks are $350 per stick. I approached management about it......accused me of accusing their valet driver of stealing the stick. They did not want to address the issue. I was not accusing anyone of anything other than the hotel failing to notify the paying customer of the fact that their valet parking is actually at a public parking garage. There was no sign of forced entry into the vehicle, so either the valet driver did not lock the vehicle, or a theft did occur. If I had known the valet parking was public parking, I would have parked myself or removed some of the valuables. Management would not accept any responsibility. If staying there, use VALET parking at own risk.

Yelp
This is a review for their restaurant. Had lunch here: mushroom soup (delicious) and their version of mac and cheese in a crispy shell. It was very good and very reasonable. Others in the group had the wiener schnitzel and raved about it. Price for lunch was about $18-$24 CAD. Very friendly and helpful service. Quiet dining room while we were there - which was nice since the streets can be noisy and busy.

Yelp
Recently spent four day at the Hotel Clarendon in Quebec City. Nice old hotel, large very clean rooms, and a perfect location. The staff was great and very helpful especially Oliver and Alex. Would not hesitate to go back. Greg

Yelp
Jazz weekends weren't so jazzy in the end, but the atmosphere was nice. However, the waiter didn't give the access code to wi-fi even after second demand, he just forgot.

Susan B.

Yelp
We had dinner while enjoying a Jazz Trio who were outstanding! The Art Deco Lobby was charming and comfortable. Didn't stay at the Hotel, but the ambiance looked classy and charming.

Yelp
This hotel is old and probably needs some work but the rooms are clean, cool, quiet, the staff are great, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 530, very small but fine for 2. The location couldn't be better if you want to stay inside the wall (which is the best part of this city). Very European, lots of stuff going on, music on the sidewalks, great restaurants, very romantic for couples and not far from the part of town frequented by the millennials. Just make sure you have exact directions for finding the hotel before you go. Great place!

Yelp
Horrid!! All I can say is "It's a shame"..BTW, you can only valet park, no underground self-parking as someone stated before. There were no valets to take our luggage so we had to "valet" ourselves. Tiny rooms, and if you want a refrigerator you pay 10. per night extra. Plastic shields on the bathroom door with an additional plastic shield for the doorknob due to the fact that the room door hits the bathroom door when entering; that's how small the room is. Plastic shields on the corners of the walls with the glue coming apart from the walls. The bathroom was strange in that there's a toilet paper "shield" made out of cheap rusty metal that could most likely be circa 60s. The bath tub has an old plastic 60s piece attached to the wall and bathtub with mould growing. The sink has been reattached with plastic caulk on top of the old mouldy caulk and there are hairs visibly "sealed" into the caulk. If you want to take a bath (!) the stopper is lost sideways in the drain and you would have to pick it out with your fingers...The elevator has seen better days. The owners should have more respect for a historic property. Wasted potential, and overpriced in both accommodations and cuisine. They do try with the mattress and bed linens which are very fluffy.

Emily A.

Yelp
Wonderful stay at this great hotel. Staff was so friendly- room was great and you can't beat the bar with a roaring fireplace on a cold night. Can't wait for my next stay!

Diane L.

Yelp
We were there for only one night (from the 2nd to the 3rd of January). All was good until I needed bottle water. They have 3 machines that provides this service and the cost for one bottle is $1.25. We went to all 3 machines to discover that they were all sold out. We told the person at reception and he told us we could go get bottle water from the bar so off we went. Of course the bottles were $3.00 each. I bought them anyway and thought i would talk to the hotel management when checking out to see if they could do something about that. All i wanted was just give me the difference between 1.25 to 3. So on the day of checking out, i asked the reception person, he went to ask his manager and came back, saying they could do absolutely nothing about that. That i was aware of the price of the bottle when i bought it from the bar (which I was) and that they weren't really responsable for the distribution machines on the floors. So i paid the bill (money isn't the problem its the principal). After paying the bill he said, sorry about this and i replied, well, i loved staying here but this 4 dollars really put a damper on things. He looked at me and said, well you could have gone to the convenient store! Yes I could have but i am a guest in this hotel and you are suppose to provide this service, if you can't keep the machine full then dont provide the service at all. He proceeded to tell me that I could have drank from the tap (again yes i could have but I dont and i wanted a bottled water which they provide in distribution machine on 3 floors of this hotel) I said "really? that is your answer?" by this point he was getting rude and condescending and he answered "well I do!". Again i reminded him that I was the guest at this hotel and that from his insulting attitude I will not return again to this hotel, I will also not refer anyone to this hotel. The attitude, the condescending rudeness was not necesairy I had already paid the bill! This is not about the money its about the principale and very poor customer service! That is my experience and i will not return to this hotel, neither will my friends and family if i have anything to do with it.

Yelp
This hotel is decent for the price, as everyone says it is old but has a few modern aspects and is clean. We were in one of the very small rooms as others described, facing the "courtyard" basically the interior wall just 5 feet away. My husband complained to get another room with a better view. They told us half of all the rooms are courtyard rooms. So just be mindful of this when booking, it may not be apparent what you're getting and could be a disappointment. All in all the stay was good, but it does take a lot of complaining to get moved...

Ashley R.

Yelp
VERY small rooms. Only enough room for a queen bed. If you like to work out like me, forget it. I stubbed my toe more than once trying to get around the bed. I glimpsed some of the other more expensive rooms walking by though, and they looked much larger. Bring a cooler because there's no refrigerator. No ventilation in the bathrooms... It gets very hot and steamy. Also the flushing mechanism on the toilet didn't work properly unless you held the lever down almost the entire flush. Depending on what time of day if is, it can take almost ten minutes for the elevator to get you where you want to go, so sometimes taking the stairs is faster. There's two ice machines, one on the 2nd floor and one on the 5th floor, and one small ice bucket per room. Also the walls are very thin, I would recommend bringing a noisemaker if you want to sleep in. While a noisemaker is absolutely wonderful, it doesn't stop odd smells from creeping into the room. My boyfriend and I were woken up about 4 in the morning by the weirdest smell...someone was making something especially pungent in their room. Also the internet is a little moody... Some days it was great other days (like last night when I originally tried posting this but couldnt!) it sucked and I couldn't do a damn thing. Lastly, the location of this hotel is wonderful, right in the middle of Old Quebec. However, one should note that it's at the top of a pretty steep hill. To get to the touristy areas (which is pretty much the whole place) you have to go down a steep hill and then climb up a steep hill to get back. Not a problem if you don't mind a good hike/climb, but if you have someone who is physically impaired or has a problem breathing on exertion, this could be an issue since almost everything in this area is on a big hill. The staff is incredibly friendly and will attempt to help you with whatever you need. Can't sleep? They'll get you hot chocolate or tea. Have a tear in your skirt? They have mini mending packages you can use. Don't know where something is? They'll print out directions for you. The valet service is great, too. Also the climate controls in the rooms worked perfectly... If we wanted our room set at a cold temperature then it was nice and chilly. As noted before this hotel is also in a great location. The shopping districts are a five minute walk away, there are restaurants galore everywhere you turn along with entertainers and beautiful scenery. The one thing I absolutely loved about the room was the bed, comforter, and pillows used... They were so comfortable I'm going to attempt to find some when we get back to the states. A good hotel, I would stay here again (perhaps in a larger room). Would recommend it to others.

Yelp
This hotel is the worst. Quebec a great experience but thus hotel almost ruined our vacation. The rooms are small. Staff extremely unfriendly. And updates on hotel can fob them justice. The staff charged my card and never made it clear she is booking me for one night by next day once they got reservations for the room from other customer decided to tell me, my husband and 3 children we needed to ck out. U would assume manager is going to try and fix situation , he was as rude and unapologetic as she was. After speaking w me hoe 2 min he went inside and hid in the back office. I'm so glad it happened we hot the suit in the fairmont hotel and we could not go wrong

Yelp
Small rooms for the price, great location. Lounge area feels like something out of Agatha Christie. Breakfast buffet a little pricey but ample, varied and delish. Friendly staff but not too many of them, so checking in/out and concierge is definitely not a NY minute--but hey, that's the Old World charm, n'est-ce pas?

Yelp
One of the oldest Hotels in the city and close to the Chataeu Frontenac. Smaller rooms but comfortable. Although the property is older it is fairly well kept.
