Initial experience: We worked with David for the last couple of months on determining if Clarendon would be our next home. He communicated well and assured us that he'd take care of us and he did. The day we arrived everything was ready for us. The move in process was seamless and stress-free. After we moved in David gave us a complete tour of the building and it's amenities. I can’t say enough great things about this incredible apartment, expertly managed by David. I’ve had the pleasure of calling this place home for the past two years, and not once have I had a single complaint. David is a phenomenal manager—always approachable, consistently responsive, and genuinely dedicated to creating a welcoming, elevated living experience. He goes above and beyond in every way, making it hard to imagine living anywhere else. Anytime I had a question, David either had the answer on the spot or made it a point to follow up quickly with all the information I needed. The apartments themselves are impeccably maintained, and the rooftop is a stunning escape with gorgeous views. An added bonus? There’s a pilates studio right next door, and residents have access to a connected gym, which was such a convenient perk. Living here truly felt like a dream, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place—or a better manager—during my time in Seattle. If you’re considering it, do yourself a favor and experience it firsthand. You won’t regret it!

I had an exceptional move-in experience at The Clarendon apartment, thanks to the outstanding support from David. The process was incredibly smooth, and David played a crucial role in ensuring everything went seamlessly. David helped move my furniture into the apartment and took extra care to ensure my packages were safe. His constant communication and quick responses to any questions I had were truly impressive. I highly recommend The Clarendon for anyone looking for a hassle-free move-in experience with excellent support from the staff.

The management at Clarendon is very friendly and helpful, maintenance requests are handled efficiently, apartment itself is quiet and clean. Walking distance to grocery store, belltown restaurants, many parks (Olympic sculpture, Myrtle Edwards, Seattle center). I would 100% recommend this location if you’re looking to stay near belltown/lower Queen Anne. It is close to climate pledge, so the traffic can be quite slow some evenings. Every month the no parking sign is updated in front of the building, and cars get towed 🥲 but otherwise great neighborhood.

Clarendon is a beautiful apartment building in a great area of Seattle! What really makes this place stand out over all the other apartments is the community manager, David! David is very welcoming and is always down to help out in any way he can. Finding an apartment and moving can be a stressful process but he helped made everything go very smoothly and has made my experience one of the best ones. He has really made this place feel like home!

I enjoyed living at Clarendon for nearly 2 years. The building itself was nice and well kept, plus, killer rooftop that I didn't utilize enough. The staff was always super nice and helpful, and maintenance are the real MVP's. The area was great for walking my pup around city center, and he loved all the dog friends he was able to make in the neighborhood. The only downside was the noise from events and the noise on the alley side from garbage/recycling trucks. That's part of the deal when you live so centrally though, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Totally recommend living here if you're looking for somewhere central, clean, and near all the park and Climate Pledge Arena events.

The apartments are modern and the building is kept in great condition. The community manager David is a gem and has been nothing but helpful and welcoming throughout the whole process, from touring to signing to the move in. He was communicative and thorough, and really has made Clarendon feel like a new home for me.

Under new management, this apartment complex has become a deeply troubling. The management is unresponsive, and they use coercive tactics to force residents into their own insurance policy. Beware of their lack of professionalism and disregard for tenant choices.

This has been a great place to live for the past couple years! The apartments are very nice and I love the modern finishes and how spacious my apartment feels! The management team and maintenance team have been fantastic to work with, very responsive and accommodating. I have generally had good interactions with other residents as well. I love that there aren't too many amenities as weird as that's sounds. The reason I say that is I wouldn't use them super often and generally a lot of amenities drive up your rent since they can't rent out those areas of the building. Generally, I believe that based on location and quality of the apartments the price is well set. The only apartment that seems to be a bit of a ridiculous price is the 2 bed/1 bath. It is significantly more than the biggest one bedroom and the 2nd bedroom is more like an office or den size.

Property changed owners at the end of July and the new owners were not very responsive in the first month and half but did improve later in September. This coupled with noisy, constant construction from the building across the alley and the Key Arena construction make it a less than desirable location to renew my lease.

Five stars for the property management team and I would post five stars if the location was slightly better! The management team and the maintenance team are great; The best experience I've had so far with renting. The units are just fine too (very clean and modern) and it looks like the pricing has gotten better. The location was good for pre-pandemic because it was close to all of the places I needed to go to but now it's kind of a moot point (since I don't go anywhere). It IS pretty noisy though because it's right on Denny and between sirens, traffic, and random yelling outside it can get really loud. There is also a lot of construction. The street noise is probably the worst thing about the location. The management team and the quality of the apartments are great. I barely hear anything when I'm inside of my unit. Also, someone drunkenly mistook my unit for theirs and tried to knock down the door (it's not a normal thing it was a random one off incident) and the door stayed firmly locked and in the frame, lol.
