I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years and have even reviewed it before, but felt it was time for an update. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and expansion, which has made the front desk area and restaurant a bit chaotic—something to keep in mind when planning your stay.||The newer standard rooms are a significant upgrade compared to the older, tired carpeted rooms that still make up the majority of the hotel. That said, even the updated rooms aren’t without flaws. The bathrooms, while relatively modern in appearance, are very cramped and lack basic amenities like tissue boxes and rainfall showers (a standard feature in many newer Comfort hotels across the Nordics).||The TVs are on the small side, and the volume can’t be turned up enough for comfortable viewing. However, the most serious issue—by far—is the temperature control. The rooms get extremely cold, and from September through April, I highly recommend bringing your own space heater. During the summer months, there’s no air conditioning, which makes the rooms uncomfortably warm—so much so that I’d advise against staying here at all in the hotter months.
