Clarion Hotel Gillet

Very friendly staff, modern rooms and the breakfast was good. Also three nice gym rooms with good equipment. The level of cleaning was poor - it varied greatly during the longer stay. Once it was good, but second time e.g. the toilet wasn't cleaned, tea wasn't supplemented, and the sheets weren't changed, despite a separate note on the door requesting cleaning. The room lighting is a bit inadequate: there is light in the hallway and by the window, but none in the center of the room ceiling. Food in the hotel restaurant was good.

The Clarion is a wonderful, comfortable hotel with an exceptionally warm and attentive staff. They greeted us with genuine hospitality from the moment we arrived and were always ready to help. Whether it was offering local tips, accommodating special requests, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their service truly made the difference. The rooms were spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — perfect for a restful night’s sleep. With a delicious and satisfying breakfast that offered plenty of choices, this hotel was a great find. I'd absolutely recommend it and am already planning my next stay.

We visited for a much needed getaway and chose this hotel mainly for its relaxing spa, highly rated breakfast, and the convenient location, close to the cinema and surrounded by many great restaurants. It was the perfect setting for some quality time together. But we would be happy to recommend Clarion Hotel Gillet to others, mainly because of the outstanding service we received during our stay.

Perfect location, nice staff and great breakfast. The beds were very comfy. Lacked a/c though so had the window open and earplugs due to noise from the street below. Waking up to "Hipp hurra för här kommer Bumbi björnarna" from a car was less fun!

It was a nice hotel with a wide range of food for breakfast, it was close to a lot of stores and didn't take long to walk from the central station. As a bonus it was across the street from an amazing cinema.||It's close to a bunch of tourist attractions if you're looking for that and it's easy to get around a wider area by foot and with close to busstops.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff in a good location. The breakfast was propably the best we've ever had, lots of new things to try and good vegetarian options. Parking in a nearby garage was 300kr per day.

Hotel is clean and staff professional. Spa is ok and not more. They have a sauna, two bubble pools and some sunbeds/sofas/chairs. One plus is that you can order drinks in the Spa. Sadly no cold plunge.

We spent 6 days at the hotel. The choice of the hotel was made based on positive reviews and the featured spa. As it turned out the spa was closed for the duration of our stay. It appears that some upgrades are in progress, but there is considerable more to be done especially as regards guest safety and security. The breakfast service is AAA plus with a wide variety of offerings and a service team that truly excel.

Breakfast is good and their pool with sauna is good. But the adjacent parking is not cheap and it is not belong to this hotel. We rent 2 rooms. One room has smelly bathroom and the other room's ceiling is partially broken.
