Clarion Hotel Gillet

The front desk staff are amazing and truly helpful. Breakfast is very good and caters well to special dietary requirements. However, the room was basic. The primary issue was the extremely poor hygiene standards in the room, with thick layers of dirt and dust everywhere, as shown in the photos. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. Additionally, the furniture and fixtures were old and damaged. There was no complimentary water, and the tea bags and milk were not replaced. Amenities were available upon request only, and there was no fridge or safe. Overall, it was poor value for money.

Everything was great but small tip: don’t eat the snacks in the hotel room!! They cost triple as much as they should be and we were in for a surprise when we booked out 😉 We also had a quite annoying neighbour next to our room who kept slamming the door. 🚪Breakfast was exquisite! Ate very much.

Be aware of the advertisement. It is not included spa! In contrast with their advertisement. I was very surprised when get know that I have to pay extra for parking and even spa. So I would say that they are not honest to their customers. I have pain more than half av the price om my rum for parking.

A magical get away, with a personal , exceptional service who suited for a person from the big apple, in a small town in Sweden. Only 40 min by train, from Stockholm city, It ‘s a must visit if you ever travel here

Great city centre hotel, around 15 minutes’ walk from the station, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the nearby vicinity.||Beds were extremely comfortable and the rest of the room was very well appointed. The bathroom was well equipped with a very large shower, and everything was spotlessly clean. Unfortunately I did not have a great night’s sleep because the air conditioning controls which were right next to the bed were constantly lit up by brightest of blue lights and our attempts at trying to cover it up all failed. Why the control panel needs to be lit up, I have no idea and if you are going to use them, then at least put them well away from the sleeping area.||We did not take dinner there, but the menu looked decent nor did we use the Spa facilities. . We did however partake in the included breakfast buffet, which had a great deal of choices, both international and Swedish, although some vegetarian sausages would have been appreciated.||Overall though, a very decent place to stay in a charming little city|

Ranking their bar experience. Very big and open food and bar area, with dedicated seating for most type of companies. Quite good cocktails and a good selection of other drinks too. Can recommend to go for one when passing by! Location is in the middle of the city.

Probably the best hotel breakfast I've had, good vegan and gluten free options; bacon just the way my partner likes it. Friendly staff. Great playroom. Pool and spa sadly closed, our little one loves a swim so shame we couldn't do that.

Breakfast is good and their pool with sauna is good. But the adjacent parking is not cheap and it is not belong to this hotel. We rent 2 rooms. One room has smelly bathroom and the other room's ceiling is partially broken.
