Clarion Hotel Gillet

Perfect location, nice staff and great breakfast. The beds were very comfy. Lacked a/c though so had the window open and earplugs due to noise from the street below. Waking up to "Hipp hurra för här kommer Bumbi björnarna" from a car was less fun!

It was a nice hotel with a wide range of food for breakfast, it was close to a lot of stores and didn't take long to walk from the central station. As a bonus it was across the street from an amazing cinema.||It's close to a bunch of tourist attractions if you're looking for that and it's easy to get around a wider area by foot and with close to busstops.

We spent 6 days at the hotel. The choice of the hotel was made based on positive reviews and the featured spa. As it turned out the spa was closed for the duration of our stay. It appears that some upgrades are in progress, but there is considerable more to be done especially as regards guest safety and security. The breakfast service is AAA plus with a wide variety of offerings and a service team that truly excel.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff in a good location. The breakfast was propably the best we've ever had, lots of new things to try and good vegetarian options. Parking in a nearby garage was 300kr per day.

Very overpriced for what you get. The breakfast is edible. The hotel doesn't seem to have fridges in all the rooms. It's always too hot or too cold. It's also impossible to get in the shower without opening the bathroom door as the space is too small. The bedding has a mattress sheet, and a blanket. No top sheets so it feels like you are at camp. The pillows are European style so you can't rest your head without suffocating. Pretty subpar hotel all around. Not worth the money for sure.

Breakfast was amazing, Room cleaning terrible - here for a week with work and room was never cleaned, had to ask at reception even though we left a sign out to clean it. When it was cleaned all they did was make the bed… didn’t replace coffee or tea and all the surfaces and bathroom were left very dirty! Very disappointing for the price

This was a nice hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was clean, but the single room was spartan. The hotel was well located in the city center. Cozy lobby with drinks. I am a celiac there were not any food options for me onsite including breakfast due to cross-contamination, and I struggled to find food nearby.

Love the hotel, the staff, the rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, spa access, quiteness, service. However in some compact room, some of the furniture is sub-par.

Breakfast is good and their pool with sauna is good. But the adjacent parking is not cheap and it is not belong to this hotel. We rent 2 rooms. One room has smelly bathroom and the other room's ceiling is partially broken.
