The concierge filled my faith in humanity or at least the hospitality industry. I had flown many hours; across the equator to another hemisphere. It was early morning and my eSIM provider ostracised me in electronic isolation. I struggled around the wrong side of Oslo Central and came across “the Hub” version of Clarion - I was tired, desperate and had been trudging through dreariness with luggage. The concierge confirmed I was in the wrong hotel but gave me a map and an encouraging shove with rough directions. I made it to my hotel and concierge helped with allowing me to store my luggage and gave me a “I’ll see what I can do if you come early for check-in” suggestion. I really appreciated that kindness, I didn’t really take them up on it - I found my second wind and explored a new polis. Yes the room was smallish and was a minimalist design in furnishing but it was functional, comfortable and it came as was advertised. What was not advertised was the great shower - it sanctified me better than a confessional session. The door did take some getting used to; I needed more power than finesse. The hotel is well situated to sites, dining and transportation- I got a real affection for Oslo’s trams. The staff were at all times helpful when needed and working quietly making my life better when I didn’t need instant help.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely helpful—it made all the difference. The room was clean and well-maintained, which is always a top priority for me when traveling.|The real standout, though, was the complimentary breakfast. It exceeded my expectations with a fantastic selection of fresh, quality options. It's rare to find a free breakfast this good. Excellent value overall, and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

The location is good. It’s easy to find — just get off at Oslo train station and walk toward the bus stop, and you’ll see the hotel. Also, it is convenient to take buses to the museums.||The room design is simple but spacious. There were no kettle, slippers, brushes, or bottles of water in the room, which is different from hotels in Asia. That was fine for us, as we brought our own, and the tap water tastes good.||Our favorite part was definitely the breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Oslo next time. Honestly, local food in Oslo is a bit too salty for our taste, but the breakfast at the hotel didn’t disappoint us. We weren’t bored even though we ate there for two days. One thing to be aware of is that the seats close to the omelette station have strong cooking smells.

A pleasant hotel located in central Oslo near the opera house. The service was pleasant throughout, the reception and bar staff helpful and friendly, and the bar itself a nice place to relax with good cocktails and drinks. The rooms were nice enough, however there were some minor maintenance issues in ours, though I doubt that's reflected across the whole hotel. Overall, a good hotel for an Oslo city break.

The breakfast is amazing, there were so many choices and everything tasted good. I enjoyed the coffee made by barista in the morning, that made my day. I didnt do any touristy because of work meetings. It was close to walk to the Oslo train station. Close to a tram station as well. I didn't catch the lady's name on duty at the concierge, she was kind enough to allow me to make a local call because I couldn't get my esim to work. Appreciate the kindness. Gave 4 stars because couldn't check in early but can store luggage so that was good.

We had an excellent experience at the Clarion Oslo. The service was outstanding member of staff we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront.

Clarion Hotel Oslo is conveniently located within walking distance of the central station and the opera house, with good bus and tram connections right outside the door that link to the whole city. The hotel is very modern and stylish, I would even say with a touch of luxury, although the bathroom didn’t quite fit the feel and reminded me a bit of a hospital. The views from the room were lovely, but the real highlight was the breakfast. Possibly one of the best and most varied breakfasts I’ve ever had in Northern Europe, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The food at the restaurant was good as well, and so were the cocktails. During my stay, I had a minor health issue, and the staff were incredibly attentive and supportive, which made a big difference. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again whenever I visit Oslo.
