This hotel would be much better if it didn't try to be so ultra modern, hip and trendy, and focused instead on good old hospitality. |Trendy low point one: the hip showers with no doors. Obviously, if you don't keep the drains rigorously clean, the bathroom will flood with the shortest of showers, which happened in our room. Asked in the morning for someone to take a look, nothing happened; asked again in the evening, but the condescending lady at the reception, trying to get rid of the problem instead of helping her guests, brazenly lied to me - "It's very common to have open showers in Scandinavia." Well my husband is Norwegian, I've been visiting Scandinavia regularly for the last 20 years, and no one in our extended Norwegian family has or ever had open showers. Maybe at pretentious hotels they may be. |It was very hot in Oslo during our stay, and contrary to my expectation, turns out this hotel (as most in Scandinavia) doesn't have A/C. You guys have to reach out to TripAdvisor and have this fixed; when filtering for hotels with A/C in the rooms, your hotel shows top on the list. This meant we had to sleep with the windows open, which helped a bit but not enough. Thankfully we didn't mind the street noise. |The breakfast was indeed delicious but, as some mentioned in the reviews, very busy and chaotic; the staff was super nice and helpful, though. |In all, an overpriced pretentious place.
