I was very impressed with this hotel! The location is fabulous - right in walking distance from the train station which is incredibly convenient if you are taking the train into Oslo from the airport and don't want to rent a car. There is plenty of shopping all within 10 minutes of the location. The staff are friendly and professional and were always informative when we had questions. The lobby and hallways are gorgeous. You feel like you're in a far pricier hotel. There were multiple conferences going on during our stay but you never felt like it was crowded or too noisy. The room was beautiful. Very comfortable bed. Shower that didn't get the bathroom floor wet when in use and my favorite the rain drop showerhead. So soothing! There's also a pool on site that we didn't use but looked so nice. There's a roof top restaurant (reservation required) that is worth visiting. Lovely cocktails, great menu and the view cannot be beat. The star of the stay was the breakfast. Huge assortment of breakfast items, great seating, and just excellent quality. I would definitely stay here again - the price was fantastic for all that the hotel offered!

Hotel located in the heart of Oslo. The lobby staff did a great job, but the lack of information in the room was a bit frustrating. For example, the wine was placed in a completely different part of the room, away from the fridge, and there was no label or note to indicate that it came with an extra charge (I eventually called the lobby, and they confirmed it was not complimentary). A simple label would avoid the confusion. It would also have been very helpful to have a small note by the sink mentioning that Oslo’s tap water is clean and safe to drink - especially since guests can use it for the Nespresso machine. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in my travels over the past years - definitely a highlight! I was given an amazing room on the top floor with a fantastic view over Oslo. The hotel also has a small spa. It’s not something to brag about, but it’s a nice extra. Unfortunately, many of the lockers were either jammed or broken. Overall, it’s a great hotel. If you want to stay right in the center of Oslo and are willing to pay a bit more compared to other hotels, it’s worth it.

We changed our choice to this hotel last minute, and it turned out to be the best choice. The hotel is modern, clean and in a superb location. I very much appreciate that the staff cared about my requests on the booking. The rooms were super clean, modern and facilities almost new. Staff were kind when approached. Breakfast is extensive, there is something for everyone. My worry was room temperature, but it was perfect. And also travelling with a child, the window safety, which only open partially from top only, so super child-proof. Fantastic hotel, go for it. Highly recommended.

Love this hotel! This our second year in a row staying here. Cozy places to relax by the lobby, and a great (albeit small) pool with sauna and steam room. My kids love it. Cannot say enough good things about the complimentary breakfast. Expansive options plus gluten free and veg options. Great location with various eateries and shipping around.

Very modern lobby and tech elevators. The bed was comfortable, room very clean. Being a 4 star hotel, i am disappointed in a couple of things. We had 1 chair in our room, 2 would have been best. There is very little storage for clothes etc, and no desk. The lighting is a bit dim for reading. The bathroom has a frosted glass door with a 2 inch clear strip around the frosting. This does not give you total privacy as someone walking by can easily see into the lav. . The breakfast is so vast and caters to many cultures norms and is delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful

Unfortunately I have to give this review because the main value prop of a hotel (to sleep well) specially a 4* hotel, is completely disrupted by their horrible ventilation system (they don’t have AC) so you cannot control the room temp. The result, either too cold or too hot in the rooms. I barely slept my first night because how cold the room was, and not comfy to have 2 duvets and barely move… i had a customer meeting the next day, so I was not in optimal shape after that poor night sleep. I don’t think I have ever experienced something like this at a hotel. Also the automatic blinds coming up in my he middle of the night. It seems the took an automation system of an office for a hotel, and the comfort is just not there. I cold twice during the night and ask in the am for help - they cannot do anything apparently Really a pity because hotel itself is super nice, the rooms and cute and clean. Service is good, Sherwin and Iselda (I believe 😅) were very nice and helpful. Breakfast is abundant and tasty. Haven’t check the pool or sauna, but will update if I go. This is not the first review about this so I really hope they fix it, because on my next trip to Oslo I will not come back because of that.

I had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.

A very smart and very comfortable hotel nearly opposite one of the entrances of Central Station (walk away from the main departures board) Its a two minute walk from the waterfront where you can climb the Opera house. 15-20 minute walk to the harbour where the fjord cruises depart from, and the royal palace. Rooms a reasonable size with all the facilities you could hope for. Lovely bar downstairs or a smart rooftop option. Reception staff great. Small circular pool, gym, steam and sauna available and the breakfast is excellent (struggled to find milk for the cereals and butter though!). |Thoroughly recommended.
