"Urban Education No swimming in this wash—it’s the treated urban waste on its way to Lake Mead. But a brand-new $15 million visitor center offers an interesting education on how the system has greatly improved in recent years in order to allow the Wetlands and its vegetation and wildlife to thrive. The volunteers there can also help interested guests navigate the miles of concrete and gravel walking trails."

Wetlands has so many interesting sites to see and things to do. The visited center is amazing, with classrooms and displays. If you can take a walk, go see the stream as it tumbles into beautiful rapids. Great place for a weekly walk or to get out with the family.

I enjoy coming here with my son to immerse myself in nature.I love that it has a wild feel to it.I love the tall blades of grass and the fields that look like wheat,I don't think it's actual wheat, but still very pretty. The water surrounding it is a treat,it's the wash that goes through the city but it's a nice break from the desert landscape that surrounds it.Big bridge to stand & watch the wildlife in the wash.We saw a crane.Great trails for bikers to ride as much as they want.Clean walking trails, most including duck creek are stroller friendly. The benches are a nice touch to just sit and take in the beautiful scenery. They also have a playground. My only complaint is all the houses & development surrounding it.I like the feeling of getting lost in nature and seeing all the development is a reminder that I'm truly not.Kind of a bummer, but still, beautiful place enjoyable for all.

Beautiful wildlife area. Mostly random birds are visible. Water and lots of short pathways. I walked a mile, and there was plenty more to see. It reminded me of a desert oasis version of Norfolk Botanical Garden, where i'm from.

Would definitely recommend. We stopped by while killing time before our flight home from LAS. Saw lots of bunnies & bunnies. Plenty of paved & unpaved trails & really well done signage & maps.

Great place to bird watch. Paved path for walking your dog. Please mind the signs where dogs are not allowed. Also sizable coyote population.

It's a peaceful spot great for birdwatching, photography & relaxing walks. The trails are scenic & the nature center has excellent exhibits that are fun 😍 informative for both kids & adults.

Had a very pleasant visit to the park. Perfect location to watch the sunrise. The trails are well marked and not very busy. I only saw a handful of other people there at 6:15am. It's a great place to see wildlife—I saw numerous types of birds, waterfowl, raccoons, and rabbits. There are walking trails and biking trails. I was hiking, but would definitely bring a bicycle next time.

I love this park. It's so serene and quiet. Usually a little busy, but everyone is very courteous. Lots of wildlife. No dogs allowed to help preserve and protect the wildlife.
