Clark County Wetlands Park

I had such a peaceful and enjoyable time at Clark County Wetlands Park! There were so many different animal species to see, which made the whole experience feel exciting and unique. From birds to other wildlife, there was always something interesting to spot along the trails. The views were beautiful and open, making it a perfect place to slow down and really take in nature. It was incredibly relaxing and a great escape from the busy city. I’d definitely recommend visiting if you want fresh air, scenic views, and the chance to see amazing wildlife up close!

Taking a walk at Clark Wetlands Park, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the flowing stream can be very soothing and calming. There are many small animals here, so you can think of it as a small botanical and wildlife park. The air is filled with the earthy scent of soil, while the river also brings in some household trash, so there is quite a bit of debris along the banks. In addition, there are many small flying insects.

As a Vegas native I never knew this was here. It’s a beautiful place to hike, stroll, or go on an adventure. Probably one of the best places in vegas to bird watch as well! The information center is also just as amazing. Overall a great place to get some time with nature.

My family and I loved this little oasis in Las Vegas! We saw lots of birds and animal tracks. In the visitor center, you can take a pamphlet that shows you the animals, birds that are on the area, and animal tracks. We really enjoyed matching what we saw to the pamphlet. Such a beautiful spot!

This is a great place for birders, walkers runners but not cyclists. They don't allow bikes or dogs because of the sensitive nature of the wildlife in the park. But there's so much to see there. The best feature is the Weir Bridge. It's about 7/10 of a mile from The visitor center. And you can see more water than you ever thought existed in the desert. Lots of birds and then you can complete the circle by walking about 6/10 of a mile back. So for 1.3 miles you get a nice walk to the bridge. But you must stop in the visitor center. They have beautiful interactive exhibits so you can learn about all the wildlife of the park and a nice gift shop too. They have water refill stations and clean restrooms, free parking and free admission.

I wish I had discovered this absolute gem years ago! One of the most beautiful places in Las Vegas or the surrounding area, and it definitely doesn't feel like a desert. We saw lots of coots and roadrunners, and a few herons as well. Very quiet, well maintained trails. Not too busy, but we did visit on a Monday, when the nature center is closed (The nature center is open Tuesday - Sunday from 9a to 3p).

Beautiful area, variety of walkways and side paths throughout. Plenty of parking, and some available on both sides of the park. Bathrooms available and handicap accessible walkways

This was such an awesome spot to find! It was a great escape from the noises of the city. Definitely felt like we were away from it all. Super peaceful with lots of trails and things to see. It's an amazing spot for a "reset" when the city starts to feel overwhelming. Definitely recommend checking it out!
