"At the Clark Family Orchard in Palisade I experienced what makes Colorado peach cobbler special: fruit from a seventh‑generation orchard whose peaches are shipped by the millions and whose farmstand even hands out recipe cards for making ideal cobbler at home." - Arati Menon, Megan Spurrell

Food, experience was great. Love me some peaches and preserves! Stuck me as very touristy, plenty of luxury SUVs in the parking lot.

GEM! If you’re visiting Palisade or just passing through do yourself a favor and nab some peaches, pickles, jams or t-shirts and ball caps at Clark’s. Classic Americana! Friendly owners. Great prices. We snagged pickles (two varieties) packed in Mason Jars, and two types of jams. They like to use Jalapeños in their products!

Wow! Okay their customer service is incredible. They are so kind and so generous! My friends and I were on a road trip and decided to grab some peaches on the way so we pulled into Clark Family Orchards. They chatted with us, showed us around and were quite generous! Go support this family business! They are incredible!

There is something to be said about Colorado peaches! Very tasty and worthy to get a hold of. So when it was posted that a truck load would arrive in town and first come first served, I knew I had to be early! I bought 2 cases, they were the size of a softball, looked great but then I ate one. No flavor, mealy texture, disappointed! Surely the rest had to be better but no, the whole case, both cases were that way! I reached out with a phone call to the phone number on the box to let them know and had to leave a message. After a few days I called again, no answer but left a message. Never heard back, no phone call back to me. Customer service? Crickets! Did I expect to get my money back? Would have been nice but I just really wanted them to know so they could correct a problem for the future. Clark family orchards, I will remember that name! Oh, by the way, I heard from others that bought that day and they had the same experience!

A truck came to our town in Minnesota to bring some peaches and pears. The guys on the truck unloading were super great and nice! Sadly though, the peaches were some of the worst I've ever had. I'm hoping for a better batch next time but we had to throw away the majority of the box due to mold after just a few days and with the ones we did get to eat were grainy on the inside with little juice and taste once they were ripe.

I picked up a box of peaches from the "My Fruit Truck" traveling to Minnesota on 9/09/25. The entire box was bad and I had to throw them out. Grainy and dry. I followed the instructions to let them sit out for 24-48 hours to ripen but it was a bad batch. Gave them a few more days to fully ripen and not edible. Very disappointing as the reviews were good for Colorado peaches. I suspect they knew this was not grade A peaches as it was on sale but Clark Family Orchards should stand behind their product.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Lovely family-owned and wonderful staff orchard. As soon as we stepped out of our car we were unexpectedly ushered to a wagon ride of gorgeous Percheron horses!! A 45 minute ride through the orchard with gorgeous views of Mount Garfield and the cliffs everywhere, the Colorado River, & stopping at their large horse barn where we got to meet wonderful Scotty the manager of the horses who brought out some other horses for us to look at and learn about. What a treat! Back at the orchard we stepped out of the wagon only to be greeted by a woman handing out free homemade peach ice cream. What a surprisingly lovely operation with wonderful staff, gorgeous views and amazing produce! We stocked up on salsa and peaches, & a jar of dill pickles. We will be back!

Yelp
When in Rome you eat pizza. When in Palisade you eat peaches. You also lug a case of them back to Denver! It's a Colorado summertime tradition. First time driving thru Palisade on our way back from Grand Junction and Moab. It's a quaint town known for local farms and wineries. Clark Family Orchards seemed like a reliable spot, so we stopped by to check out the fruit stand. Now, this isn't one of those rinky dink fruit stands on the side of the highway. For starters, you are surrounded by beautiful views of the Grand Mesa. It's a charming store with an abundance of products. You can easily drop a small fortune if you weren't careful. We bought a whole lot of fresh peaches, cherries and jams. The peaches and cherries were consumed right away, and damn they were mighty tasty treats. Nothing better than freshly harvested fruits. The peaches steal the show, but I implore you not to skip out on the cherries. They are just as fantastic! There are a good amount of orchards and farms to choose from when out in Palisade. Clark is a great family owned one to support.

Yelp
Wow!! This place is SPECIAL. We enjoyed a horse drawn wagon ride through their beautiful peach orchards. They even took us on a tour of the barn with the horses. And their fruit stand is precious!! Really good people, too!!! Don't skip this farm!!

Yelp
The drive from Denver to Moab was a total drab, but a pit stop at Palisade for some peaches - and peach ice cream! - made it a little better. Their peaches are absolutely fantastic! Honestly, one of the best, if not the best peach I've ever had. My only wish there was a better selection for those who don't get a full box. If you're around the area, stopping by here during the season is a must.

Yelp
We toured this place a year ago at the Palisade Peach Fest at we remembered it as our favorite peach orchard. We came back today and were happy to buy many many peaches here. There was some confusion with boxes vs flats and we made the wrong choice that I'm kicking myself for- the boxes are a MUCH better deal! But we are happy. We appreciated the samples and also the recipes, selection of peach items like salsa and peach butter, and of course the great peaches. We took an orchard wagon tour last year and I think they just offer them on saturdays now but you should do it if you can! We'll be back next year, all the way from Colorado Springs!!!

Yelp
Samples, samples, and more samples... Not that this is a bad thing. At all. Clark Family Orchards has a charming little stand just off the highway in Palisade. When we stopped by on our trip to Grand Junction, we were greeted with friendly smiles and all you can eat samples of their peaches, salsas, and honey. Everything was really delicious! Man, do these people know their peaches! They had three varieties on the day we came; the Gleason Elberta, the Golden Star, and the Red Globe. The gal working asked us what we normally like and helped us pick a peach that fit our palates. My mom likes more tartness, so the Golden Star was perfect for her. I prefer sweetness, so I was lead toward the Red Globe which was just what I pictured when I was describing my perfect peach. This place is definitely worth stopping by when you are in the neighborhood. It is also worth the trip if you aren't!

Yelp
One of the larger, more fully established orchards. Loved their pears. I thought they were better than Harry and David's. I tried their peaches and they were as good as all of the Palisade peaches were. But the pears were, to me, the standout. We did one of their rides around the orchard. Great tour and great information. You are in a horse drawn vehicle and the guide has been with Clark's forever. He was super interesting and not only gave us great info about Clark's, but about Palisade and the fruit business. I would recommend this highly - offered in season on weekends.

Yelp
I found it so cute that one of the granddaughters was running the cash register while visiting from Utah during the summer. Clark's Family Orchard is not too far out of Palisade along the highway. We bought some tomatoes early in the season and were told the inside secret of when those delicious peaches would be coming. We are looking forward to buying more vegetables from them throughout the summer.

Yelp
I've found the Perfect Peaches at Clarks. I just save myself time and go there first! Lots of other Goodies to add to your order too. So Pleasant and nice to deal with... Love it

Yelp
Such a great experience! Orchards were lovely to walk through and the store had tons of samples. They had free wagon rides that was about 40 minutes long. The wagon ride was a superb tour by an extremely knowledgeable Tour guide that explained so many things about the working of the orchard as a business. Kids and adults alike loved it. The peaches we got were beyond fantastic!!!

Yelp
WOW you guys are the best people in Palisade!!!! Your peaches jam and honey are amazing! they are the only reason I will go back to Palisade!

Yelp
I live on the Front Range, and came across some much coveted pickled asparagus - supposedly 'spear's - at a farmer's market. Yes, you see spears through the glass - yum! After you've bought and taken the jar home? Nothing but the woody stems in the middle of the jar. I'd say at least 4/5's of the jar's contents inedible. Shame on whoever made the decision to do this. You've lost customers for this cheap shot, because I've already told more than a couple folks you cut corners.
