Clarks Avadh, Lucknow

This hotel was pretty nice and most of its facilities were beautiful! Rooms were clean and spacious although a bit dated. There were a few hiccups with service. We did not receive automatic housekeeping during our stay, but I assume we could have gotten it if we had asked. Some staff were very responsive and helpful but in other instances we had to repeatedly ask for things (e.g., sending up extra toilet paper, water, towels). Laundry/cleaning/pressing services were efficient and inexpensive, but for some reason they wouldn't drop off completed items to our room unless we were there to receive them. ||The breakfast buffet was extensive and high quality with Indian and western foods. The processes to order coffee were inconsistent - on some days, a server would take your order at the table and on other days we had to order at the buffet. It was a bit confusing. ||The rooftop restaurant was really fabulous! The hotel's location was pretty convenient as well. We appreciated the front desk staff members' help with coordinating a few deliveries we had to the hotel as well.

Located centrally, this is a nice property. Have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. The staff is extremely professional and courteous and the service is excellent. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The buffet layout is expansive and the food is excellent. The highlight of this time’s visit was Makkhan in the breakfast buffet.

If you have come to enjoy your stay at Lucknow, this is the place. I've seen so many 5 stars, but never seen a dining lobby so big and magnificent. Beautiful interiors and no location can be better.

A hotel cant be better than this, its not cold like other hotels, its warm, cozy and neat. After a hard day at work, you look forward to come back to hotel and rest and i did felt rested. Bed is great, pillows are not too huge...bathroom is nice and clean. Breakfast was well served, with lot of variety and very very attentive staff. more than often we had dinner there too, Though am not a big eater, but i too ended up with two fills...good food...and good ambience where you want to sit and spend time eating you meal,

We stayed at Clarks Inn for what I believe was our second visit, and once again, I was not disappointed! Our stay was genuinely happy and calming. The property is beautifully located in the heart of the city, and we were fortunate to have a river-view room, which added so much tranquility to the experience. The breakfast spread was lavish and delicious, and the staff were warm, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. We had requested special baby food for our infant, and the team was very accommodating and happy to help something we truly appreciated while traveling with a little one. The property has recently been renovated, and the changes have made it look even more fresh, modern, and inviting. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would gladly choose Clarks Inn again when I’m in the city next!

1. Booked a 4N/5D stay expecting a premium experience due to the hotel’s 5-star status and long history, but the service—especially at the front desk—was disappointing. 2. The staff appeared inexperienced and wrongly insisted on charging for an extra bed despite it being included and fully paid for in advance. 3. The issue was acknowledged only at checkout, where they admitted to overcharging. However, there was no clear timeline for the refund, only a vague assurance of 15–20 days. Such billing errors and lack of accountability are not acceptable for a hotel of this category. 4. Now they are not even responding to calls and whatsapp messages. 5. Room service was equally terrible. After 10 pm or so if you would call house keeping no one would pickup. Try different numbers and they keep telling you to dial some other number or bang the phone. Would have to step out to catch hold of someone. So if you are booking this Hotel please drop all your expectations at the doorstep else you will be highly disappointed.

I stayed for a nite yesterday and right from the time i arrived to check in I felt that sense of warmth and welcoming that s becoming rarer to see nowadays. The check in very smooth courtesy Jyoti singh.Divya the Frt off.mgr asked me to reach out if need be which was a surprise. I was given the room even though I was there slightly earlier than normal check in time. The room was spotless, the buffet breakfast substantial. They accommodated a late check out request too that rounded off my first experience at their hotel. Bhawna and Jyoti ensured a speedy check out.
