Google
Good concept and good food. The servers were really nice (sorry but no one there spoke English unfortunately - not a criticism, just stating a fact). The atmosphere was great. Luckily it wasn’t too busy when I was there for lunch. Would recommend visiting.

Google
A cozy, unexpected and amazing Argentinian empanada restaurant in Marais. Mom and I shared 8 empanadas, salad and dessert. This was filling for 2 people - amazing flavors in each empanada. The dessert empanada was out of this world; wish we didn’t have to share that one.

Google
So yummy and so many good flavours to try (for both the empanadas and the ice cream) will def be coming back to try more

Google
Love love love this place! Easily got a table for dinner. Attentive and warm service 💯 got the menu option at 20€, affordable and with that we were able to share and taste different flavors. Cocktails were just ok though.

I’ve been here twice, & both times we had a great time. Staff are great, & the empanadas are delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

Google
The empanadas are wonderful. They make a table of 12 and you can mix and match whichever empanada you want. Or you can get one of each. Service is really good. Can’t wait to go again :-)

Google
Oh my empanadas! What a delightful pit stop for the yummiest empanadas!!!! The pollo one with the side spicy 🌶️ sauce were delish!!!! Next time I’ll take some to go!

Google
The empanadas were great, but the chorizo in the empanada was a bit tasteless. The dessert definitely redeemed the place to the point that my girlfriend took some dulce de leche home as they sell this separately. Would recommend this place and would go again.

Yelp
Really delicious empanadas (the crust was done perfectly), including the dessert dulce de lèche empanada with caramel ice cream. The decor is clean and stylish without being fussy. The service was friendly and quick. We loved it!

Yelp
Paris' third arrondissement continues to blow me away every time I visit the city, and Clasico Argentino is no exception. Not unlike the rest of the district, it's simple, but wonderfully so. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Ne parlent pas français? No problem. Two kind gentlemen who I assume are the owners/operators are on hand, and they were more than accommodating with an english menu to boot. The location is divine, and the atmosphere comfortable regardless of what the weather looks like outside. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? €4,00 is admittedly on the expensive side when it comes to an individual empanada, but not only is this Paris, but we're talking about a speciality cuisine type that fetches a premium essentially anywhere outside of South America. That being the case, and considering that these were pretty damn big emps, 4EUR is a fair price. Have a look: http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=OKX-V5j_qfuOebeHeWGrHg&select=fVVwOlvdmSmZoS2as0cxGg Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? To be honest with you, I don't exactly recall which two empanadas I got, but one was for sure a chicken medley and another beef of some sort. What you should know is that both were very, very good, and I very much enjoyed the baked yet flakey outside as opposed to the alternative deep fried option found across the globe. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Have a South American craving in the city of love and lights? Clasico Argentino has you covered. Go here. Star Granted.

Yelp
I came here yesterday for lunch, I always walk by this place but never come in! So I decided to stop. I got the lunch menu which is 3 empanadas, a small salad and a desert(I got 2 scoops of ice cream) for 14€. I felt like that was a pretty good deal. I ordered the Pollo and 2 Fugazzetta(cheese and onion). I ended up liking my pollo better and wishing I ordres two of that instead, and the little salad was a nice touch. All in all I think it's a really good lunch spot, the ice cream was really good too. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone missing Spanish food in Paris

Yelp
Everything was excellent! We were seated and tended to immediately. The service, food, drinks were all exceptional. Empanadas, salad and wine made for a delicious dinner after a hectic day of walking around Paris.

Yelp
Tiny empanadas for 3.50 to 4 euros each. The pork sausage one was strange, and too much like a pig-in-a-blanket. Don't even bother with the little packet of "hot" sauce they give you. I accidentally knocked it over and a veritable pool of oil formed on the sidewalk.

Yelp
Located in the heart of the Marais near the big square and la Maison de Victor Hugo, you should be able to located Clasico Argentino and get your empanada fix on! They have a good variety of different empanadas ranging from beef, cheese & onion, etc. They have lunch and dinner specials. I believe my lunch was about 11-12E for 3 empanadas, small salad and a drink. It was filling enough, but I opted for a 2-scoop treat of ice cream. I really liked their dulce de leche. You can get your meal to go or eat in the small restaurant. It's a small shop, and it can get pretty busy sometimes. But where else are you gonna get good Argentine pastries in Paris?

Yelp
Yay, win! This place is delicious. We found it on the last day, which is probably a good thing since we would have been here every day if we had found it earlier. There is something so good about a simple empanada stuffed with fillings. We had the chorizo, ham and cheese, corn, and chicken. All of them were better than the next. No fault anywhere. The interior is nice and simple, though it is small so not a great place for large parties. Service is good enough. Location is right in the center of Marais. The normal prices are a bit spendy (around 4 euro per empanada), but the lunch special is a steal with three empanadas of your choice, a side salad, and ice cream for 12.50.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with hip hop music . We sat outside and enjoyed the empanadas especially the picante beef and chicken !

Francesca G.

Yelp
I've only had takeaway empanadas from here, so I have no idea what it's like inside, but I am definitely a fan. The onion and cheese one is amazing. I've also tried the spinach which is ok, but I wouldn't even bother wasting my time with anything else in the future when the onion one is so good. They're not cheap, at 4 euros an empanada, but really worth it to have once in a while if you feel like splurging a bit (or have a Foodora code).

Yelp
Best service! People are very polite! Food was delicious! Best empanadas i have ever had! love it! The mate drink is good also!

Katerina T.

Yelp
Having been to Argentina, I was pleasantly surprised at how authentic these empanadas actually were. Perfect last minute to-go snack to keep you going if you do not have the time, and even one serving is a decent size. We tried the ground beef, chicken and potato empanadas and all were delicious: juicy on the inside, with a perfect outer crust. There is limited seating on the inside but if you do, go ahead and order yourself a glass of Malbec.

Yelp
Fun place for lunch. (Haven't been for dinner, so this review largely reflects the well-priced 12.5 euro lunch special.) As with all Asian and South American restaurants in Paris, scale back your expectations about portions, authenticity, and spiciness. That said, the empanadas are tasty, with several different options to choose from, and the ice cream is as good as the marked-up gelato on Île St Louis. (The accompanying sauce isn't spicy, but adds a little something extra.) Nice casual atmosphere at lunch, brisk but attentive service, and portions that are filling but don't make you feel like you'll bust a gut.

Yelp
The best. I can't say enough good things about them. We got 10 empanadas and had them over the course of a few days. They also have Quilmaes beer http://www.quilmes.com.au/

Tuan N.

Yelp
The French can also make really good empanadas, apparently. There were five of us and we went crazy with the ordering. We got a total of 18 empanadas, one if every kind. I don't think there was one I didn't like as they were all very delicious. I especially love the cheese-filled ones.

Yelp
We had a lovely evening with friends at this small restaurant in the 3rd district. Empanadas, empanadas, empanadas. These aren't something that I normally order because they can be dry and tasteless...not the case at Clasico Argentino. The open kitchen revealed the cook brushing each with an eggwash and baking them to order....and each were wonderful. We tried all of the flavors and seemed to enjoy the cheese and spinach the best. The waitress suggested a bottle of Argentinian wine, which was a nice pairing to the meal. Salads, wine, and empanadas for 5: $120. Not a cheap evening, but not overly expensive by Paris standards.

Yelp
Awesome food and great concept. About a dozen types of empanadas each with a unique flavor profile. Good with kids or as a date place. As English speaking Americans, we found the service to be friendly and accommodating.

Melissa L.

Yelp
These empanadas were quite tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my corn one as did my friends. The sausage one was also brillant. I love empanadas, and have no problem paying for good food... But, honestly, I think it is pricey for what you get... even for Paris.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are freaking out about this place- as strange as it sounds, we came two nights in a row because we wanted to be hungry enough to try all eight varieties. As we suspected, they were each delicious (though suffice it to say we picked favorites). The ice cream was also yummy. It's possible to get a platter with one of each empanada with a salad and dessert, and I feel this was a really solid value. We haven't seen it get too crowded- kind of a unique find in the area.
