Classic Hotel am Stetteneck

Our stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful from start to finish. Breakfast and Dinner was delicious. Perfectly located in the pedestrian area, close to ski lifts, shops and activities. |We chose the hotel for its location and facilities and were thrilled with it. We loved watching the world go by from the hotel cafe with a drink and strudel just as much as we loved the hotel lounge and ‘merenda’.|Christmas Eve and New Years Eve gala dinners were full of atmosphere, marvellous dinner, drinks and nice entertainment.|A huge ‘shout-out’ to thank all the staff who made the holiday extra special, nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile - it felt like an extended family.|The rooms were exactly as described, we stayed for 2 weeks and never felt squashed. Beautifully clean throughout the hotel, we were very happy with how well the rooms and facilities were maintained.|One thing we noticed, was that we never heard other guests or noise within the hotel, once we closed our door, we didn’t hear anything from within the hotel. Our daughters could hear noise from outside (but they usually had the window open a crack), we heard very little from outside.|The hotel has a good focus on the environment and sustainability, we made use of the Süd-Tirol Mobil card to travel to surrounding areas such as Bressanone or Sëlva. We also noted the chef’s use of food to avoid waste, and we ate like kings and queens.|We can’t wait to return, this was the best skiing hotel and holiday I have been on! Thank you to the hotel team!

We had a wonderful stay in Ortisei, made especially enjoyable by the warmth of the staff who were so kind. The hotel is beautifully presented, we enjoyed the breakfast and found the evening meal great value. The position in Ortisei could not be better, and the spa facilities were a great bonus. We look forward to returning.

We had a very nice stay in your hotel. The room was nice ( with the secret curtain= mirror 😂) The food was very good and the service was excellent. As a guest they make you feel special. Thank you! We will return next year.

The staff was amazing. The hotel beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are stiff, for American visitors: the beds are traditional European style. ||The breakfast options included are basic but can get by pretty well. The hotel offers dinner dishes for breakfast which was new to us.||The hotel can provides a transportation card, make sure to ask, otherwise you’ll learn one day before your arrival or might miss at all the email. The facility itself is clean, lovely views from hotel to the dolomite’s region.

This hotel is beautiful, centrally located in the heart of town, a short walk from the cable car. The staff were very nice. If I were to return to this area in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

Wow, beautiful views right from our room. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and wonderful. One of the very best breakfast we had during our 20 days in Italy. We also had dinner at their dinning room the night we were there. There were only trout and lamb as choices for main dish. Trout was all right. However, the lamb was so good that I might have to say it was the very best I have ever had in my life. Love the staff, food, location and services here. Highly recommend to anyone coming this way.

I stayed here during a trip through Ortisei in the fall of 2009. This was a wonderful find and I would heartily recommend this hotel. It is located at the end of the main pedestrian street, Via Rezia, and is in close proximity to the TI and gondola to enter the Alpe di Suisi. The rooms were quite reasonably priced in the fall. We stayed on a Sunday evening, and it was a quiet town. Most restaurants were closed, so we were grateful that we chose half board. In sitting down for dinner, we knew we were in for a treat. It was a very cozy dining room with attentive service and wonderful food. The rooms were well-appointed, with a spacious, modern bathroom. The room had two small balconies off the room, which provided spectacular views of the Dolomites and Val Gardena. There was plenty of room for luggage and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. Overall, this was a wonderful stop while traveling through Northern Italy.
