We had a phenomenal experience at the Classic Am Stetteneck. We were traveling with our 9 month old son, and the staff were amazing with him. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool and saunas were an added plus. We chose to eat dinner at the hotel for multiple nights during our stay because the food was so good. Every night the hotel staff recognized us and had a special plate made for the baby; it made us feel like family. We look forward to returning to this hotel in the future.

Excellent location right at the beginning of the downtown pedestrian area. Short walking distance to the funivie to Seceda and Alpe di Suisi and the funicolare Resciesa. Very friendly and helpful staff both at the reception and restaurant. Amazing services esp. provision of Sudtirol guess pass before arrival (which was really handy for taking the bus from Bolzano to Ortisie) and flexibility of allowing check-in well before the advertised time - we were checked in before 12am). Great food for breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic hotel with a mix of old world and modern luxury. Traditionl charm with wonderful views, friendly and helpful staff who were attentive to our every need before and during during our trip.|Great location with car parking and other parking close by. Lots going on in Ortisei which was lovely to roam around, we particularly enjoyed the cable cars to the mountains.|The room was spotless, comfortable and matched the charm of the hotel. Great value for such a wonderful hotel. The leisure facilities are modern, clean and inviting. The bar is well stocked with everything you could have wanted from beer to cocktails with relaxing entertainment.|Overall could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you.

Classic Hotel am Stetteneck was perfect for our trip exploring part of the Dolomites. The location was a dream- in the beautiful town of Ortisei, surrounded by the mountains, and within walking distance to the 3 major cable cars. The hotel has maintained its old world charm and beauty. Their attention to detail could be seen in the rooms and every gathering space. The heated pool and sauna were relaxing after long hiking days. We opted for the halfboard and every meal was delicious and thoughtfully made. The real gems of the hotel are the staff and their impeccable customer service- Grazie Sobi, Sicilia, Leila, Andrew, and Micol for everything! We hope to visit again soon!

I was on a trip with friends and we loved our stay at the hotel! The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly, the rooms comfortable with incredible views, the breakfast was delicious with great options, and we were amazed that some of the spa services were available/included. Used the pool and sauna every day. It’s so conveniently located to the Main Street for shopping and excellent restaurants, as well as the gondolas. Walking distance to everything.

We loved most of the features of this hotel - the location is perfect, the rooms are clean and well designed, the breakfast is really wonderful, the entertainment on Sunday night was a nice touch, and all staff are so accommodating. Andrew at the front desk could not be more hospitable.|We stayed for four nights and would stay again yet not during summer. While we were given a fan after the first night, the lack of air con made sleeping really tough each night. We were on the top floor and the windows are small with little air movement. Also the Adler bar across the street plays music late but we had to keep windows open for air. These are not complaints but facts that affected our stay and that is why we would not stay at the hotel in the summer again although we'd certainly return in another season.

Lovely rooms. We had one with an amazing balcony, but the ones without are also nice. Breakfast was great and the rings come with local bus and tram access. It's cloudy to lifts, in a super part of town for shopping, eating, and fun. There is no ac, the heat is good, the showers are good, the spa is really quite good, albeit small, the beds are hard, the pillows are only a step above bad, but since we visited during early spring, we did not need ac, and even if it was hot it stuffy, an open balcony door solved all, and jet lag helped with bad bed comfort. Overall, excellent in spring when no ac is needed.

Yelp
Wow, beautiful views right from our room. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and wonderful. One of the very best breakfast we had during our 20 days in Italy. We also had dinner at their dinning room the night we were there. There were only trout and lamb as choices for main dish. Trout was all right. However, the lamb was so good that I might have to say it was the very best I have ever had in my life. Love the staff, food, location and services here. Highly recommend to anyone coming this way.

Yelp
I stayed here during a trip through Ortisei in the fall of 2009. This was a wonderful find and I would heartily recommend this hotel. It is located at the end of the main pedestrian street, Via Rezia, and is in close proximity to the TI and gondola to enter the Alpe di Suisi. The rooms were quite reasonably priced in the fall. We stayed on a Sunday evening, and it was a quiet town. Most restaurants were closed, so we were grateful that we chose half board. In sitting down for dinner, we knew we were in for a treat. It was a very cozy dining room with attentive service and wonderful food. The rooms were well-appointed, with a spacious, modern bathroom. The room had two small balconies off the room, which provided spectacular views of the Dolomites and Val Gardena. There was plenty of room for luggage and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. Overall, this was a wonderful stop while traveling through Northern Italy.
