Classic Hotel am Stetteneck

The staff was amazing. The hotel beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are stiff, for American visitors: the beds are traditional European style. ||The breakfast options included are basic but can get by pretty well. The hotel offers dinner dishes for breakfast which was new to us.||The hotel can provides a transportation card, make sure to ask, otherwise you’ll learn one day before your arrival or might miss at all the email. The facility itself is clean, lovely views from hotel to the dolomite’s region.

Fantastic hotel with a mix of old world and modern luxury. Traditionl charm with wonderful views, friendly and helpful staff who were attentive to our every need before and during during our trip.|Great location with car parking and other parking close by. Lots going on in Ortisei which was lovely to roam around, we particularly enjoyed the cable cars to the mountains.|The room was spotless, comfortable and matched the charm of the hotel. Great value for such a wonderful hotel. The leisure facilities are modern, clean and inviting. The bar is well stocked with everything you could have wanted from beer to cocktails with relaxing entertainment.|Overall could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you.

Hotel is charming and the staff is wonderful. Family room was just perfect for us. The half board option is a great value made even better by the attentive and gracious dining staff.

This hotel is beautiful, centrally located in the heart of town, a short walk from the cable car. The staff were very nice. If I were to return to this area in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

We are in the middle of a stay now. It’s summer and therefore a bit warm. Which is fine. Hotel does not have any AC. Which is also fine. Sleeping with the windows open should be lovely. But the hotel is directly across from several bars which have loud music (it’s currently 11:15 pm, with no signs of slowing down). And the trash collection starts at 5:00 am outside the same windows. Lovely breeze. Terrible sleeping conditions. Not much the hotel can do. We are leaving tomorrow.

The hotel is a gem in a great location. It is beautifully renovated with a pool and spa facility that is amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks for an outstanding experience.

Hotel amenities, staff and location were fabulous! Quality was evident throughout the room, reception, and the restaurant. The hotel restaurant was far better than any other options nearby for both breakfast and dinner.

Wow, beautiful views right from our room. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and wonderful. One of the very best breakfast we had during our 20 days in Italy. We also had dinner at their dinning room the night we were there. There were only trout and lamb as choices for main dish. Trout was all right. However, the lamb was so good that I might have to say it was the very best I have ever had in my life. Love the staff, food, location and services here. Highly recommend to anyone coming this way.

I stayed here during a trip through Ortisei in the fall of 2009. This was a wonderful find and I would heartily recommend this hotel. It is located at the end of the main pedestrian street, Via Rezia, and is in close proximity to the TI and gondola to enter the Alpe di Suisi. The rooms were quite reasonably priced in the fall. We stayed on a Sunday evening, and it was a quiet town. Most restaurants were closed, so we were grateful that we chose half board. In sitting down for dinner, we knew we were in for a treat. It was a very cozy dining room with attentive service and wonderful food. The rooms were well-appointed, with a spacious, modern bathroom. The room had two small balconies off the room, which provided spectacular views of the Dolomites and Val Gardena. There was plenty of room for luggage and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. Overall, this was a wonderful stop while traveling through Northern Italy.
