The Classical Gardens of Suzhou are stunning and full of elegance. The harmony of ponds, rock formations, pavilions, and plants creates a peaceful and timeless beauty. A perfect place to experience traditional Chinese garden art.

Beautiful place but too many visitors in it. Don't have chance to feel & admire the place. Taking scenic photos have wait for chances.

The Classical Gardens of Suzhou are a group of gardens in the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu, China, which have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. A peaceful place to spend a few hours admiring the classical Chinese architecture of different structures and the abundant covered walkways. Wonderful tour here in Nanjing, China.

I'm sure if you were here at a quiet time, it would be lovely. But since it is one of the most famous places in China for Chinese people, the odds of you being here at a quiet time are slim to none. Expect massive crowds and long queues to just get to specific famous spots for pictures. I found this place extremely frustrating. And I was here on a Monday, not even a weekend or public holiday.

I love Suzhou because the city is beautiful, the city's canals, stone bridges, pagoda and beautiful gardens. Suzhou is like the Venice of China. Take the gondola, sailing through a narrow waterway and passing stone bridges. Walking around the canals also is my favorite thing to do. There are so many lovely and beautiful cafes, bookstores, and souvenir shops. All so artistic and pretty. Feel like step back in time. Suzhou is also one of the top tourist destinations, so it's not easy to take pictures at the certain landmark and popular sites due to overcrowded. The Classical Garden of Suzhou we're added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997. How to get here :I took the high-speed train from Hangqiao Railway station in Shangai, which only took around 30 minutes to reach Suzhou. Alternatively take a coach from West Bus Station, will takes nearly 2 hours.

It’s the first time to visit these classical gardens, I was amazed by the wisdom and art spirit of our ancestors! Everything in the garden was designed and carried out carefully with wisdom, patience and architectural art! They matched with each other, looking very harmonious with local environment! ✌️
