Claytime

Went for a date and Claytime was a fantastic hands-on experience. You can tell why they’ve been around for many years. We pained a dish & ladybug but they had a wide variety. Staff was amazing, and everyone was great help getting set up & very knowledgeable. Loved every minute and we will be back!

Claytime is seriously a Funtime! If you’d like to relax and have fun while painting something beautiful this is the place for you! We attended adult night and the staff is extremely helpful, attentive, friendly, personable and just overall good vibes and great company. This is a real inviting space and we will be coming back!

We enjoyed our time today at claytime! The staff was really helpful and kind. We’ve never done an activity like this but had a blast. We were a group of 6, called ahead to make a reservation, celebrating a friends birthday. This was a nice relaxing craft moment and we can’t wait to see the final results in 2 weeks!

One of my favorite places to go to paint. My daughter’s and I have been here so many times over the years. Our pottery always looks great. I absolutely love it!!! Thank you to the staff for always making this a great experience!

This could have been a pleasant experience for 2 toddlers (our grandchild and another family's grandchild), but sadly the folks running the place are unpleasant and take an excessively long time finishing the ceramics in the kiln despite being informed that it must be finished within 4 days. They just don't care and just prefer to nickel and dime their customers should they DARE to exceed 60 minutes for a small child to finish their project. I have never seen an establishment so rude to their clientele.

I have never felt so disrespected walking into a business as I did today. This was our second time there and will be the last. As soon as I walk in with my two kids the woman at the desk immediately said “EXCUSE ME THIS IS PRIVATE EVENT”. Not a hello how are you? Not Hi so sorry we have a private event. She said there is a sign at the door! Mind you this sign was almost as small as an index card. Sorry I missed it 😂 it was pouring outside and I was trying to get my kids in. This is not a way to treat customers. It takes only 1x time to discourage a customer from returning and that was it for us. Extremely rude!

The woman working the front with the short hair/ may be the owner, is extremely rude. She was making comments about us when checking out saying rude things about the people I was with. Very inappropriate, and we will not be returning. This ruined the entire experience for all of us.

Claytime is fun time! Came here recently to celebrate a friend's birthday, and really enjoyed it. The owners Stacey (can't remember the other woman's name) are very friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of clay pieces for you to decorate with tons of samples for inspiration too. I selected a small serving bowl that is a nice size for a side dish, or a personal bowl for pasta or whatever. You are able to select 6 colors and they have stamps and stencils available to use as well. There was an $8 charge for the materials, etc and the bowl was $17. You are able to bring in snacks and beverages/wine which makes it a super fun place to come relax and have fun. Definitely recommend for a low key night out with friends.

This was a fun afternoon activity with my mom. We were the only group of adults on a Saturday afternoon (I imagine during the evening there are more adult groups. Hello BYOB!). The rest of the tables were adults with young children. There are about six tables and the studio had a creative buzz of activity to it. The deets: -$8 studio fee (your choice of six paint colors/free refills and they glaze your pottery in their kiln; you pick up your piece a week later) -$ cost of your pottery item (price ranges per item. I chose a $20 pumpkin; my mom chose a $17 leaf dish) Pro tip: after one hour, there is an additional studio fee The owner and staff were friendly and helpful--they replenished our paint, gave suggestions on paint colors and were available to answer our questions. The paint brushes were in bad shape and could use a refresh. All in all, a fun hands-on creative activity!

Excellent Experience in Huntington Village for me and my children. Had a great time painting all sorts of colors and designs on the vast collection of pottery to choose from with my partner and children. Buby, my youngest child, really enjoyed painting Sponge Bob and Crabs on their plate -- which we'll be sure to place in our eatery. Overall, Staci and the entire Claytime team, including the one who's always there, really made the difference. From their vast knowledge of the perfect paints to designs, they truly delivered a 10/10 experience. Will return soon!!!

Had lots of fun painting a plate and a mug with my girlfriend. Staff was very friendly and paid attention when we were running low on paint.

Shout out to ClayTime in Huntington Village. My adult kids came in for the holidays and they were fabulous. My husband is currently in chemo and radiation and couldn't be in a public place. Clay time let us pick out our items and take everything home. They packed up paints, brushes and all supplies and could not have been more accommodating! It was a very special day with family and they were amazing!

A really fun place to go with the kids for an inside activity. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and offer assistance without interfering with your creativity. Stacy, the owner, is amazing, incredibly talented, approachable and makes being at Clay Time a truly fun experience. There is a wide range of objects from purely decoration (shark statue) to functional (plates, mugs, dog bowls). You don't go home with your item but return to pick them up in a week after they've been in the kiln. And you will spend at least $20 for the experience, but well worth it! Highly recommend

A fantastic place to go with kids or with the girls. They have a thursday evening open paint that was a blast. The perfect after work activity for a creative outlet. I wish they did a date night painting class for couples, it would be a fun way to kick off trivia night in town. It's a perfect place to go after school with the kids. The staff is upbeat, friendly and patient with painters of any skill level. Stuck for inspiration? They have some great books on hand to help spark your creativity. Projects are glazed, fired and returned to you in a timely manner and the quality of the finish is perfect. If you are looking for a fun environment to do a little creative project, this is the place to do it.

The most kind people ever!!!! I had 11 girls with me for a bday party at the movies and realized I bought tickets for the next day. I ran over to Claytime and met the nicest most generous people. They stayed open for us and were so beyond pleasant and accommodating. We cannot thank them enough. The girls had a blast. Happy daughter and thankful parents.

I received a gift certificate for Claytime for Christmas. I must say it was a great experience! When arriving and greeted by a really friendly and knowledgeable staff member. We were informed of the operating procedures. You simply purchase a piece of bisque, (plaster piece from the display shelves)- we decided on two of the very large coffee mugs. They then offer you up to six colors selections for you to create (paint) your original masterpiece. BTW- There is also an additional charge for studio fee. However the fee pays for the use of the paints (refills included), use of brushes, stamps, stencils, glazing and firing of your piece. They do the firing and you pick your creation up a week later. No lead is used in the painting or firing of the piece-A good thing to know. We actually really enjoyed the creative time -and are using our creations for cereal bowls. We also plan on making another trip to Claytime to experience the Adult night, where you can byob.

We have always had such great experiences here. My girls have signed up for several of their special occasion classes (like Christmas platters and Mother's Day vases) and everything is always so adorable and personal with their hand prints, foot prints or drawings. The quality is extremely durable and dishwasher safe. Staci and her staff are so warm and helpful. They have so much patience with the little ones. And this is a great place for a party or to bring your Girl Scout troop (or other group). They make everything easy and fun!

Me and my friends come all the time! It's a fun way to keep us occupied for about 2 hours. It is extremely therapeutic. At first I thought it was only for little kids, but it's so not! Great way to unwind and show your artistic abilities!

I have been going to Claytime with my 4 kids for over 10 years. I cannot say enough nice things about the women that run this place. They are so kind and helpful! It is always a treat to go to Claytime. We have lots of great memories there. It is wonderful for any age- including adults.
