I chose this hotel for its hot tub, sauna, & steam room. The sauna was nice (it can fit 9 people comfortably- every seat taken). The hot tub was OK- the pool staff wouldn’t put in the cleaning liquid to make the bubbles go away and my eyes would hurt when I’d touch the outside lids after being in it (this doesn’t happen with my well-cleaned hot tub at home). The Steam Room was closed for maintenance. The pool was nice (pretty warm)- a lot of kids using it for lessons. ||The breakfast food was average, I don’t necessarily recommend. They had beans, cheese & salami, mini smoothies, yogurt parfaits, scrambled eggs (some of the worst I’ve eaten), ok sausage, black & white rice pudding, pineapple, cantaloupe, and bread. It would have been nice to have more fruit variety and pancakes, French toast, or waffles. I would’ve paid more for an omelette too. Dinner was at the location and was better- we ate the lox and bread app, the goat cheese and bacon jam app, the chicken and mashed potatoes entree, and French Fries with mayo. ||The room was nice- I liked the bath tub in the shower. There was a lack of amenities though: no thermostat (room was warm & we had to keep the window open), no hand cream, hair dryer hidden in a door in the table instead of inside the bathroom, no fridge, and no ice machine in the hallway.||Convenient vending machines with food and drinks in the hallway, and drinks outside the pool area (which was shared with a gym for Dublin residents). ||Front staff helped us store our luggage while we explored the city before we could check in. ||Hotel is located a 0.7 mile (24-minute walk) from Trinity College and Grafton Street. There are closer hotels. I’d consider staying at this hotel again, but I may try another hotel with a thermostat, clearer hot tub, working sauna, and better tasting breakfast.
