Clayton Hotel Leeds

The hotel was in a good spot - within walking distance of the city centre, but far enough out to be quiet and for a car park to be available. The room was nice and clean, and a particularly welcome aspect was that the curtains were nice and thick and closed fully. The shower head was a little small but the water was hot. Both the restaurant and bar were pleasant too. All in all, a good stay, thank you.

Beds were incredibly comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful, check in was 2pm but rooms were changed in order for us to check in earlier. The hotel reception, bar and rooms were all spotless and breakfast was outstanding. This hotel was within reasonable walking distance of the places we were going. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

Stayed there several times over the last couple of decades. It's consistently been OK, never below average, and has gently changed with the times. The breakfast offering is outstanding, and a flat rate fee for overnight parking/charging is most welcome.

The hotel staff on arrival where very welcoming and interested in our visit. The hotel was very clean and rooms where superb. The bar was really good and prices very fair. The morning breakfast was delicious and parking for 24 hours was £14.00 not bad at all. Will definitely book again if we travel back to Leeds.

Convenient located on outskirts off City Centre. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Staff are helpful. Breakfast - Well stocked plenty of seating in restaurant. Beds are nice and comfy! Would definitely stay here again when in Leeds.

A nice hotel in a stylishly re-developed area within easy walking distance of Leeds city centre. But like any successful hotel the key is the staff.|We were looked after fabulously by the reception staff, bar staff and breakfast team. All very friendly and helpful. Tristan on reception was particularly helpful as was the young lady who greeted us on arrival. Jill Webster provided us with an improved room and even a birthday card for my wife. Well worth a visit. Helped make our visit to explore old haunts in Leeds even better. Thanks.

Booked on the day of arrival, check in was quick and convenient with car park underground with a fair amount of spaces. Very friendly receptionist checked us in within 5 minutes and offered a breakfast for a reasonable £10pp for our one night stay. Room was spacious and clean with a large king bed. The bathroom was immaculate and modern and came with all amenities. Blackout curtains were great for keeping the early morning sun out. Despite it being a warm day/night the room remained a comfortable temperature. Breakfast came with a cooked and continental option with an excellent coffee machine. Check out was quick and simple.

Perfect stay for Graduation. Rooms clean and spacious. Only gave 4 stars as our bathroom was quite small( although our children’s was considerably larger). Good bar food and amazing buffet breakfast. The location was perfect for our needs.

They dont let you bring guests into the room... there was a bug in our bed and the staff was rude.

Not worth the unrest, doors slamming all evening and night. Not all rooms are updated, my room 244 was filthy and furniture stained & sticky. Good looking blond front desk gentleman was rude and uncaring. A very disappointing 3 night sleepless stay due to all the constant noise.
