Clear Sky on Cleveland

After searching online for a place to have dinner and a drink with the Mrs., this place stood out. I'm glad we chose Clear Sky! Our bartender/server Fran was on point. She was great with recommendations and she made excellent drinks. The food from the appetizers to our main courses, we're delicious. It's giving you a chance. We chose to eat at the bar, and ther was enough space to enjoy our time. The atmosphere is excellent and anyone visiting the area should check it out!

Went here with a group of 10 for a celebration. We had called ahead and arranged for our group in the back area. We were greeted and seated immediately. Menus were brought and drinks ordered. The restaurant, especially the back area, was nicely decorated and quite distinct from the front bar area. Since it was around 9:00 PM, my wife and I decided to split a French Dip sandwich, and each have a bowl of French Onion soup. A couple bowls of Fried Cheese Curds was ordered to share at the table. After a short wait the Cheese Curds and some salads came. I must admit I had not eaten these since our days in Wisconsin 45 years earlier. They were delicious. Soon our main dishes came, Our French Dip sandwich was also delicious. However, we were disappointed in the French Onion soup. It was good but lacked a bit of flavor and missing most of the Cheese-Bread topping. All in all, everyone was pleased with the food and service and especially the ambiance and decor.

Spectacular — this place is truly special! If you’re looking for something local and authentic, this is the spot! We had breakfast here and found a beautifully designed, contemporary place with a great bar and an excellent wine selection from what I could see, plus outstanding service. The food was excellent — great quality, generous portions, well-prepared, and full of flavor! The staff was fantastic; we were treated very well despite the language differences, and in the end, everything worked out perfectly! One fun curiosity: when you order an espresso, it comes with a twist of lemon peel! 😅 Something I’d never tried before — not bad at all, but I still prefer my espresso plain! Definitely a must-visit spot — full of tradition, quality, and great service, plus a perfect location. We’ll surely be back!

We really enjoy going to this restaurant for their warm ambience and great menu. The front part of the restaurant is like a warm English pub and the back part is an atrium with a running fountain. Love to have fabulous choices. We can't get over the prices on this menu either, they are so reasonable compared to everybody else. So if you want to feel like you're indulging, but it doesn't hit the wallet so much, go to to Clear Sky on Cleveland!

Brandy was amazing!! We sat outside thinking we can conquer the cold but realized that we prefer an inside table lol. Brandy was super understanding and just amazing overall! She told us about wine Wednesday which made us buy a bottle! Brandy also recommended us amazing entrees we went with the Korean bbq ribs and the lobster ravioli! Everything was amazing! Huge shoutout to Marvin as well for helping us with the heater outside and really fast with taking plates away. Definitely coming back!! THANK YOU BRANDY AND MARVIN!

Peanut butter and jelly brussel sprouts 10/10 not for everyone but thought it was a great play on pb&j with the crunchy roasted brussel sprouts Seared ahi tuna 7/10 was expecting it to have more flavor but still pretty good Dynamite shrimp 9/10 delicious, would have liked a little more heat Bacon wrapped dates 9/10 great flavor, would substitute the goat cheese with something else if I could Our server Nick was very polite and helpful, great service and the food came out fast. Give Nick a raise! Would come again

Hubby and I ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Duck & goat cheese as appetizer and it was hugeeee and deeeelicious! Could have been a meal by itself. We also had the Mediterranean platter. What a lovely smorgasbord of yumiliciousness. Hubby had a smoked orange Manhattan and the smell was out of this world. So many unusual items on menu. Need to come back.

Second time being here and we're definitely coming back! Courtney was our server and was both super friendly and on top of everything. She always made sure our waters were full and got us our food quickly. I highly recommend the sesame chicken and the French dip, both are incredible. The dynamite strip appetizer is the best one they have too. The only con is that it can get a bit loud if its busy because of the small space, but the service doesn't lag even when it is busy. And additionally my husband complained about the design of the urinals, which cause a little splash back.

Kali H was our server. He was great!! The peanut butter and jelly brussel sprouts were talked about extremely positively by two women we met in St. Petersburg, FL so even though ive always hated brussel sprouts we decided to try them and they were surprisingly very good. My partner had scallops and i had the 2-4pz filet mignons. Excellent! Mine came with garlic mashed potatoes and a wonderful truffled creamed spinach that was out of this world. Cute little place with friendly staff. I would absolutely go back next time im In Clearwater Florida

I love the food at the Clearsky locations and it is great that they have their staples at each but also have different options at each one as well. I go to the Clearsky Cafe (Clearwater Beach) the most but when I want something different or don't want to wait in traffic, Cleveland is in downtown Clearwater but you don't have to cross the bridge to get there so beach traffic isn't an issue when you're a local. The service is outstanding as well and any time I have had an issue with a meal, they are quick to fix the issue without any problems or fuse.

I had the Flatbread made with cauliflower crust with goat cheese and pear. It is absolutely delicious and you cannot tell there is a cauliflower crust at all. It is so good. Serve next to it is a glass of 3 Daughter's Brewery Beach Blonde Ale. The bartenders were excellent Fran & KY! Thank you such quick & fantastic service! The ambiance is really relaxed and very well decorated inside. There's a back area to this restaurant which looks like a big garden room that is very well lit and absolutely beautiful. That area is great for bigger parties as well. The front part of the restaurant is more of the bar area with table and Booth seating. I have been to this restaurant many many times and I have never had a bad meal served. They have excellent food throughout the day whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner this is an great place to go! There's parking around the back side of the building as well as parking garages in the area that are for free. I do believe they take reservations most nights. The night we were there they were having entertainment out in the street and there is outdoor seating as well. Clear Sky restaurants are well known around in this area and each one is unique. This one is definitely a favorite of mine!

Drinks, appetizers and shared dinner was amazing . We had two appetizers that were both delicious. The Dates and the Pork belly and scallops for appetizers were both very good. We shared the pork tenderloin schnitzel it came with mashed potatoes and fresh sautéed veggies. Plenty of food for two to share! Bartenders are on point!

The food, service (Courtney) and vibe is AWESOME. We're staying in Clearwater Beach and found Clear Sky by accident. We originally planned to go to a different restaurant but they were closed for an employee party. So we enjoyed lunch and then went back for dinner the following evening. Highly recommend - 5

Just happen to fall into Clear Sky because our concert was canceled. Excellent Food- Excellent Service- All at an Excellent Price!! They saved our evening. Thank You!

Started off disappointing- lots of staff buzzing around. From the hostess stand on the outside no one stopped to talk to me. I scanned the open table QR code on the stand and put in my time for a group of 3. After people going in and out and 15 minutes passing I checked Open Table and it said we were sat. I went inside and after being passed by a handful of staff I was able to get one talk to me. They looked at the computer and sat us. The server was ok. I could tell she was busy. The manager did say hi as he walked by. The food was good- meatloaf was light on the meatloaf sandwich but still good. All in all- getting the seat was a chore but the food was good.

Once again amazing food and nice portions. First time trying breakfast and it didn't disappoint Nick was a great bartender who gave great conversation

Food and service are always excellent. BlackBerry Margie's are a fav, pretzels and dips (ask for a side of caramel sauce too)

This is a great spot for a nice meal or to preparty before a show at BayCare Sound. We enjoyed our simple but tasty appetizers and tacos for sustenance and some wine for a light buzz before the show. Service was great and the view of the sunset and concert goers on their way made sitting outside even more entertaining. The place is huge I hear, but I never made it inside.

Both of us really liked our flatbreads + we both finished them too! So yummy. About $15 per flatbread. And the outdoor seating is dog friendly! The staff were kind and our waitress made sure to bring out cold water in a dog bowl for our pup! We loved sitting outside, even though it was quite a warm day! The intermittent clouds + breeze off the water were great and totally worth sitting outside for the ambiance!

We just ate at the Clearsky on the island yesterday. This we stumbled upon by accident and were so pleased they had the second location right near our errand this morning. We had the black and blue burger on lunch special and it was phenomenal. No sauce was needed for the burger or the fries. Good lord, I believe it was gone in about 90 seconds. Yummy!!

The menu here is super extensive and it took us forever to decide on an order! I went with the lunch special, where you can get half of two items so I got a flatbread and a salad. Both were tasty and it was the perfect portion size for a lunch. The ambiance here is super cute, with two different rooms. My favorite room is the sun room, which has plenty of natural lighting and is just a nice environment to eat in. The service was great as well! Just be aware that street parking is the only option here

On our final day in Clearwater, we decided to have brunch at this tried and true restaurant. We were seated outdoors as requested. Our server Caitlin was top notch. As usual, everything we ordered was delicious, the lobster in the omelet was a bit tough, but as usual, everything was delicious. Great brunch spot.

Great place to grab a bite in Clearwater. I heard from a friend that this place is always packed before performances so make a review. However, for a random Saturday at around 2 p.m. there were tons of tables open (I know, not prime lunch time so that could have been part of it). They have a lot of seating outside since the road in front of it is blocked off. Still outside seating had a lot of sun so even though it was a nice day I opted for inside. I started with their French Onion soup. I got the bigger size and it is still a good starter soup. I shared it with my husband which is why I got the bigger size, but I think it is reasonable for one person to order it alone. Then for my entree I got the Lobster Caesar Salad. There was a large amount of lobster on it, which I really enjoyed. Overall it was a great salad and I like the extra oomph the lobster gave it. This is a casual environment so you can definitely wear jeans. Overall I really enjoyed this place and I will definitely come back.

The food is great, especially their cuban. The service was also very fast, food came in under 12 minutes. And they had a nice atmosphere with decent music.

We had dinner here Christmas Day. I've been to several of the Clear Sky including Draught House, Clearwater Beach original. All are different but very good. First time at Cleveland St. location. Bacon wrapped dates and tamales for appetizers. Love the bacon wrapped dates. Surprised they had tamales, good as well. For the entree I had the blackened seafood trio of shrimp,, scallops, and grouper. Very tasty and cooked perfectly. Wife had the filet , she was impressed as well and shared some with me. Service was great . The decor is very nice with a good looking bar, brick exposed walls and an offering of outdoor seating as well. We will return !

This place offered a special Christmas menu but also allowed you to order off the traditional menu. I opted for the traditional and chose to get the sea bass wrapped in banana leaves with a miso sauce. This did not disappoint. For an appetizer I got the lobster bisque: creamy, thick and very savory! Not much lobster in here which was a little disappointing. Our server was very attentive and gracious.

Clear Sky nails the balance between upscale flavor and relaxed vibes. Started with the Guacamole Bites and the Clear Sky Roll--both packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The guac bites had a perfect crunch and creamy finish, while the sushi roll was fresh, well-balanced, and a great fusion-style option. For dinner, I went with the Seafood Cajun Pasta. Portion size was generous and totally hit the spot. Service was friendly and attentive, and their Happy Hour from 2-6 PM offers solid deals that make the experience even sweeter.

2 new favorites: crispy brussels sprout "dinner side" and sauteed peppers and onions "dinner side". Both incredibly yummy. Must remember to order these again! I love their black bean burger. Was even excellent after being delivered by Door Dash. I loved eating the burger with the brussels and sauteed peppers/onions. French fries were cold by the time I got to them. Maybe not the best choice for food delivery, since the restaurant is quite the drive from my home.

Service was not good on our last visit. We waited over 25 mins no one checked on us after being seated. Two tables that were seated shortly after us were being served. Attempted to make contact with waiters no one was helpful. Decided to leave and take business elsewhere. Menu has completely changed as well, removed a lot of popular dishes we would order. Would not go recommend.

Decided to check this place out for brunch. It was busy and we have not made reservation so had to sit outside. The sun was little too bright and was facing right at my face so we asked if we could sit at any tables under the shade, but she said those were reserved. Well, those tables were not occupied while we dine in well over 1+ hour. Our server changed the table to slightly better table with some shade in between, so that made it up. Strictly from food perspective, the foods are delicious. The portion is also sufficient and filling, so appetizer+ two entrees will fill two parties. When you are nearby, consider checking the place out.

The ducky brussel sprouts changed my life, so good. I paired it with a lovely Chardonnay for a lovely afternoon pick me up. Nick was a great bartender. I came in during happy hour and was really enjoying myself. If I can offer some criticism, I would recommend asking the staff to lower their voices. I could hear their personal and business conversations in this quiet bar. Excellent place and I will come again.

I love the outdoor seating ... such a beautiful area to sit and enjoy a meal - having the street blocked off from traffic is a great idea! I found the food to be a bit underwhelming ... the seasoning was kind bland. I know different people have different taste so try it out for yourself - I would consider this place more for an intimate date location for drinks though.

We had a great experience here! We came for dinner and sat outside. It was a little chilly so they seated us near the fire which was great. Everything we had from drinks to dinner was fantastic. Staff was friendly and attentive. We even thought about going back here for a second visit because of how much we liked it during our stay.

Had Christmas dinner and opted to order off the main menu verses the holiday pre-fix. Food was good, I ordered a beet and goat cheese salad and a skewer of lamb and the lobster bisque which was rich and creamy. No fancy frills just food prepared simple and the decor is nostalgic.

Delivered great Wiener schnitzel with side of vegetables that were thoughtfully cut, well seasoned, tasty mix and perfectly cooked. Usually the veg side is unremarkable and uninspired this was a wonderful addition to a really good meal.

Had a large birthday party in their back room with about 15 people and there was plenty of room since it wasn't all booked. The only problem was the waiter took people's drink orders, then we sat down for dinner and he expected me to pay for their drinks! I should have told him separate checks up front but cmon just ask me first they should know better! So he was upset but reluctantly did separate checks for everyone. The food was really good and came out quick. Then they added a $15 cake cutting fee on the bill and when I reserved I asked if we could bring a cake they said yeah no problem. So they did take that off the bill for me but make sure you get the facts before hosting a party here. Overall a beautiful venue and great food!

We are from the Cleveland area, so we decided to stop in for lunch on the patio. They had quite a large menu, and solid lunch special options. I ordered the Clear Sky roll and a side of Brussels sprouts with balsamic reduction. The roll was fresh tasting, but I wish I would have ordered the PB&J Brussels sprouts instead of the Balsamic ones. Service was good as well.

I was visiting my Army buddy and she took me here. I loved absolutely everything about this place. The decor, the food, and most of all the server Richie made us laugh and put up with all of our ridiculous requests with a smile. We got the hot honey flat bread, Brussel sprouts and another flat bread. I also got some chardonnay. We ate outside and the ambiance was perfect.

I do food delivery from an app and got an order to pick up from Clear Sky on Cleveland. I was waiting for the order in the back where the bags are put together. The cook put a to-go container on the line and the pasta was slopped over the side! The young man putting the bag together tried a few times to put the pasta back in but wasn't successful with the fork so he finally used his bare hand to grab the pasta and throw it inside! First of all, the cook has no business being so sloppy as they weren't that busy and secondly, bare hands handling food? Yuk! I said something to one of the employees and he said "Oh, his hands are probably clean, he's working the line"! I don't care, that's just gross. I used to eat here but now I will find another restaurant!!

Full gluten free menu, and even items that weren't on it could be modified. We had the bacon wrapped dates....oh my goodness, they were so good! I had the lamb burger, another had the beet salad with shrimp one had a steak sandwich and another the Philly. All were excellent. The service was good. Our waiter was very attentive. It was a fun place to have dinner!

We were in town for one of my son's college baseball games and decided to give this place a try based on the reviews. I didn't think to make reservations since we decided where to go that same day...it was chilly outside and without reservations the only tables they had available for walk ins were outside...not sure if this is a standard practice. Initially they sat us at a table furthest east and away from all the heaters. I knew it was going to be incredibly uncomfortable as the temps were dipping and eating dinner in the cold was not an ideal situation. I couldn't sense whether the hostess was actually nice or indifferently sarcastic when throughout the whole seating process so we just sucked it up. After about a minute we noticed another table open up right next to a heater and not on the outskirts of the dining tables, so I ran inside and begged to be reseated. Again - The same hostess was nice but not? Speaking to me, but not making eye contact...I was just happy we were getting a better table so, at this point I knew we would be in the hands of our server and not really dealing with her anymore. Our server was great - I wish I could remember his name, but he was very patient and mad the rest of the evening quite enjoyable. There was 4 of us for dinner so we ordered a few different apps: Grilled Octopus - husband said it was very good! PB&J Brussel Sprouts - These were really good and so big! Calamari - my son and his girlfriend said they were very good! Meals: Beyond Burger - menu description: Vegetable based patty, tomato jam and avocado slices...The avocado slices were a joke (see the picture I uploaded)...I also asked for a side of the mango slaw...that was also disappointing as it was tiny...The beyond burger itself was good, and the fries were good too! Creamy Pesto Chicken Gnocchi - my son's girlfriend said it was delicious Lobster Ravioli - My husband enjoyed this quite a bit Cajun Pasta - my son enjoyed this as well and took home his leftovers as well as his girlfriend's lol All in all - I feel like I may or may not visit this place again - If I do, definitely with reservations. We haven't really explored the city much so we will probably try other places before we repeat a visit.

Our Table was waiting when we arrived and the service was awesome. Our cocktails, appetizers and entrees were all exceptional.

I ordered the crispy rice tuna and duck tacos. Both were amazing. The ambiance is fantastic and had a great conversation with people at the bar. I was told that there is a rewards program as well, so I will be signing up.

We stopped in for dinner after a day at the beach. As you walk into the restaurant they have a bar and high table in the area, we were seated in the garden area which was brighter and a nice place to be seated. We started our meal with the calamari fries which were good. The marinara sauce went well with it. For our entrees I had the short rib which was really good. The short rib was tender and flavorful, served with veggies. We also had the surf and turf, steak served with scallops and shrimp. A very nice sized portion and cooked perfectly. Lastly we had the double filet mignon which was also cooked at the desired temperature. To finish the meal we had the apple tort which was very good.

I like this place, we come here every so often as Dave loves their beet salad. We previously sat outside and in the bar area, this was the first time we sat in the back with the waterfall which was cool. We tried pb&j brussel sprouts and they were a hit! Service was good, friendly, and quick.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in all of Tampa Bay, and my favorite of all Clear Sky locations. The garden room has the best ambience, and the food never disappoints. I have never had a meal there I didn't like. Their pb&j brussel sprouts are a fan favorite.

Wow! Great place to eat pre-concert, pre-theater, pre-anything! But be forewarned - parking is limited, so arrive early! We got a space on the street. It is pay until 6p M-F, but free after that. Our party of 6 was seated in the back, garden area. Roomy and comfortable. Shabby, our waitress, was phenomenal at providing us with recommendations that met our needs on for our best options based on our interests. The Bartender making drinks that night made our specialty cocktails to order perfectly, getting each one down to the specs of our very particular guests! That's a tough one, and they nailed it! We started with Calamari, crisp and tasty in a big portion size; Hush Puppies, firm, well cooked, with a tasty sauce for dipping; and Southwestern Egg Rolls, loaded, fresh, and crispy. For entrees, we ordered Grouper with Veg Medley and Rice, Shrimp w/Veg Medley and Rice, a Red Curry Dish, Mushroom Flatbread w/Caesar Salad, and a Beet Salad. Every dish was delish and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We food only a bit of the Red Curry home...everything else was destroyed! We lingered, unrushed, and left with an intense interest in coming back for another enjoyable evening. Well done, Clear Sky!

Nice atmosphere, good service-however the food quality to price ratio was off. Also they need to add to the menu, current selection is too fancy. They are close to being really good but just not there.

Food was wonderful. Ambiance was my favorite. We ate in the back room which was not as noisy as the bar dining area. We had the Mediterranean sampler platter with a few appetizers. Would definitely return

This is one of my favorite spots in Clearwater. The wait staff are so friendly, polite,& respectful. The food is always high quality and delicious! The wine selection is always on point! Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

We enjoy sitting in the Garden room where it is quieter and you can have conversation. We only wish there were booths. The chairs look quaint but are very uncomfortable to sit in. Food at Sky is always good. We both ordered steaks. My filet was done perfectly and was tender. My husband's Delmonico tender and flavorful. Service was terrific!

I ordered the Margherita pizza on cauliflower. It was delicious. Our server was so energetic and fast. We decided to sit outside because our dog came along for dinner. There is tons of outdoor dining and inside is so spacious. Parking is a bit annoying but the food is worth it.
