On 8th March 2025, Saturday morning, I took the MRT train to King Albert Park Station and then took bus 74 at King Albert Station and alighted four bus stop away opposite the Maju Camp. There is a path behind the bus stop where I alighted leading to the old jurong railway, from there I walked towards the direction heading towards Clementi Forest. As you walked, you will come across muddy streams and fallen trees and it is best to carry a walking stick with you. It was quite tough walking the path leading to the Clementi Forest but I made it and enjoyed it...

A deep forest surrounded by residential areas, but this is true nature. If you want to challenge this forest, make sure wearing waterproof shoes and trousers that can be washed easily, even better with an alpenstocks, or the muddy roads will teach you a lesson. The entrance is not easy to find, so ask an experienced guide will be better.

🌳Clement Forest as view from Rail Corridor. 🌿Lush green forest are fast disappearing as we further urbanise.

The most amazing hike I've done in Singapore. It's a bit tricky there are streams to jump across and very steep sections you have to climb up or down. Would recommend proper footwear and backpack and sunhat. It rained very heavily when we were halfway through but that made it more fun and helped us cool down

Pretty undisturbed for most part, but there's soil corrosion so beware. Though many Singaporeans know about Clementi Forest, few know how to get in. Clementi Forest does not have a proper entrance - It's behind a bus stop. A unique hike located in Clementi Forest with abandoned railway tracks, secret tunnels and crossings over muddy streams. Please do not wear old shoes which you have not worn for a long time as the sole may come off during the hike, which I saw with my own eye and you might have noticed along the way.

A great terrain hiking place for all hikers who wants some adventure and challenge. This forest as the name suggest, do not have proper paved roads, instead terrain paths which explorers carved out in the past. There’s a mix of land and water routes which makes this place more fun than others, and this also mean that young children may not be suitable here. I would highly recommend you to come here if you sought after challenging hike and have fun as well!

One of my favourite places in all of Singapore! The lush greenery brings you into a different world. The animal noises, giant plants and trees give you inner peace 😌

An excellent place to go for some proper hiking in nature! There are some excellent trails. The views at different sections of the trails are beautiful! Besides the interesting trails, you’ll get to see some interesting floral and fauna. Do be prepared to get your shoes muddy. It’s better to wear a good pair of hiking shoes. I highly recommend hiking enthusiasts to visit this place!
