Quite small in size but well maintained. Would be ideal if this library can expand its size and collections to cater to the needs of the expanding community in Clementi.

Small, compact , packed. What do you do if you want to go to the library to sit down read a book, but all chairs are taken? Collection is also pretty basic and rather limited. Not many new books.

A smallish library when compared to the Jurong Regional Library, but still has a decent collection of books. There's also plenty of space to sit and read too if needed.

The librarian and staff were helpful and assisted me to locate the books that I wanted. The variety of books is decent since the size of the library isn't really big. The library is conductive enough for studying and there are rooms available to use your computers. It would be good if all desks had changing ports for convenience. Nevertheless, the library is quite a good option to study as well. What caught my eyes was this machine that is able to dispense cards by redeeming some points. I think this machine has been here for quite a long time and there are kids crowding there every time.

Nice well managed library in the borders of real and fake Singapore. Has a relatively good collection but seats can be scarce and experience can be bad in peak hours. Nice book i found when my intern brought me there for a peek;)

Yelp
I'm still not used to public libraries inside malls. I guess it is what it is, considering there's limited space on this island! The Clementi Public Library is a decent size, with a huge collection for children and young adults. I really like how they localized this branch, as there was a nice little stand titled "Faces of Clementi", which features photos around the neighbourhood and Clementi business owners. I also thought their Mystery Brown Bag was a cute idea - there are a bunch of brown bags filled with books (that are mysteries) which you can borrow. They have them for both children and adults! As with most public libraries, I'm surprised at the lack of desks or study carrells. I only saw chairs, and a few of them had those small desks attached. Is that why most kids end up hogging tables at Starbucks or cafes? Either way, I made myself at home by occupying one of those chairs with the small desk attached. It brought me back to my Sunday school days, except this time I typed away on my savvy laptop and worked on completing my Yelp duties!
