Restaurant Clémentine - Bistrot Terrasse Paris 2

We had gone to Clementine many times in the past, but had been away from Paris for two years. We returned to find to our great joy that it remains the Superb restaurant that we knew. It is a family run business, and almost all of the patrons are locals. It has been in business for over 30 years at its present location, which tells you something about the quality. The food is the best I’ve ever had. The presentation is beautiful. The service is Excellent. This is traditional French food at its best, in a traditional atmosphere. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This family-owned French Bistrot is the real thing! Conveniently located in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement, the menu features authentic French home-cooked meals diligently prepared by the owner. His wife manages the dining room, watching over her guests attentively. Varied menu with daily specials that change regularly. Generous servings and enticing desserts. Nice atmosphere in a quaint setting. Definitely worth the visit !

Beautiful little dinner spot with amazing food and great service. The wine list was extensive and all of the food was perfect. Cute spot that gives a great local feel. Would recommend very highly. We got the escargot and goat cheese pastry appetizer as well as the steak and chicken dinner.

A very special restaurant - a true little gem with authentic and delicious French home cooking. You will feel the warm welcome immediately by the lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend getting a Negroni, appetizers like the goat cheese tart and eggplant Provençal and then a perfect veal chop - you’ll honestly be happy with anything they serve. Do not miss finishing your meal with the profiteroles!

A charming French bistro offering authentic cuisine with cute decoration. I ordered the œuf poché, which was good but could have used a bit more kick in the egg flavor, it lacked a bit of salt. For the main course, I requested the bavette à point, but it arrived bien cuit. Unfortunately, the gratin dauphinois was unavailable, but the accompanying vegetables were absolutely delicious.

We really loved this place. It is a very nice little family restaurant in the center of Paris. We went for the lunch menu - phantastic quality for a reasonable price. The service was very nice and accommodating. As we only speak a little French the staff was very happy to support with an English menu and English service. Definitely a place to have a good lunch, but as the place is small and very popular (probably because of the excellent home made food) a reservation or an early come is recommended. Do expect some excellent French food and make sure to include the desert. Good wine selection, even for the glass at lunch time.

Clémentines is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris, the food was delicious and the service was also amazing. I had the flank stake and it was exquisite. Even the vegetables were magnificent! I remember dining here for a peaceful but delicious dinner. It is run by a generous family.

A true hidden gem for anyone looking for authentic French cuisine. Franck and his wife run this small restaurant with passion. The food is like a home-cooked meal from mom, simply delicious. Paired with a good glass of wine, it's the perfect place to relax. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience Parisian cuisine away from the mainstream. We'll definitely be back.
