Cleopatra Hotel Luxor

I can only recommend the hotel. Very clean and great quiet location with views of the mountains. A wonderful terrace and beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Mahmod is a great host and puts his heart and soul into it. It is a family hotel and so we also got to know and appreciate Nasr, the owner, a very good person who created this hotel as his life's work, special thanks to him. Should we go to Luxor again, there is only this place for us as accommodation. It was our best hotel on our Egypt trip.

The best place ever, with the best owner and staff, Hajj Nasir is an amazing person very generous and kind, we really enjoyed our stay there, we hater to leave. Totally recommended for families and solo travelers as well. Amazing location as well, u just take the ferry and ur are in the middle of Luxor itself ✨🌻

Currently staying here and this place is great. Mahmoud makes you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. He arranged a hot air balloon trip for us and he did not disappoint. We will definitely come back here. The rooftop is amazing and so is the view of the Valley of the Kings.

It's a really nice hotel, located in a small and silent street on the east side of Nil in Luxor. The rooms were clean, they have a nice rooftop where you can enjoy a fresh breakfast and especially the owner Mahmoud was really kind. He prepared the breakfast by himself and was there for us 24/7 if we had any questions. And of course the donkeys and the camels from the neighbors are lovely.

The hotel is situated on the West Bank of Luxor. Ok hotel for few nights. Host, Mahmoud is the best. He made our stay valuable. Lower standard at the hotel, but clean, WiFi good. Fantastic view from the beautiful roof terrace. View to Hatchepsut temple.

Nice rooms, great location and Mahmoud was an amazing employee making my daughter smile all the time. The organized balloon trip and Bday cake for my daughters Bday were great and highly appreciated. However during the two nights we stayed was rather chaotic as we had to change our room three times(!) as we didn´t get what we initially had booked two months in advance. There was no heating available in the rooms so the nights were rather cold, which is weird considering this is during the tourist high season? A communication error led to us being "pushed" into a tour that I didn´t agree too in advance and our tour guide didn´t have the best level of English so not much was explained really. The breakfast was cold and nothing special really. I was constantly asked, several times per day, to leave a good review as it would otherwise impact their business.

Service was very very good and Mamhod is very kind and good person! The dinner and breakfast are both delicious! Location is also cool! Rooms are not the best in the hotel. Toilet is not that good… There was no shampo and some important toileteries. Hygiene needs to be improved. Overall the stay was nice, mainly because of the service that Mamhod has done!
