The Caliph Hotel

Incredible comfort and warmth here at The Caliph. Special mention of the courteous staff, the complimentary breakfast with reasonable timings and the distinct variants. Smooth experience in terms of booking, extent of the stay and a favourable location.

I went there as a seafarer.. breakfast and dinner was arranged by our company but luch is own expance.. at dinner I asked for Menu, but one of staff initially denied. After argue reday to provide. Other staff is/was good.. Bathroom is not upto the mark, there is no partition between comod and bath. Cleaning is not proper.. room is good...

The Caliph Hotel is a decent option if you’re looking for something under ₹6,000 in Powai. The room was fairly spacious and clean, though the interiors could use an update. Service was a bit slow, especially during check-in, but the staff was polite. Breakfast was included and had limited but decent options. The best part about this hotel is its proximity to commercial areas like SEEPZ and L&T. It's okay for a short business trip, but don’t expect luxury—this is a functional, no-frills stay.

Javed Bhai, who is owner of the hotel, is managing it very professionally and goes out of his way to accomodate the needs to the customers. His team of Abdul (reservations ) and Junaid carry on the same traits in terms of customer sensitivity. Abdul helped me end to end in managing all my guest's stay related requirements and went beyond his call of duty to make guests feel comfortable. Upon special request he also arranged a Jain buffet dinner for all the guests.

The AC in rooms is central AC which is poorly maintained or poorly installed. AC keeps turning on and off by itself which makes room too cool and makes it hot and humid in some time. And same keeps repeating. It's a very frustrating experience and you'll not be able to sleep. It happens late in night so you can't complain either. Rooms are spacious, clean and washrooms are good. But will not be staying here again due to AC problem.

We had a wonderful experience. The service was full of warmth.We stayed there for the exams of my daughter who was in Grade 10. Abdur at the Reception with a pleasing smile always catered to all our needs and demands.It was like a second home to us . Absolutely a great experience.

It was my second visit. The second time i stayed there and experienced the same quality. Amazing place and perfect rooms with good food...

Economy hotel. AC doesn’t work well, smelly rooms, For hot water you need to leave water draining for 10 mins( They say central heating). Neat and clean rooms but disappointing service. Didn’t dare to try room service after seeing their service quality.
