Cliff Cottage Resort

The standard room is good and has the view of the beach. my one star is for the boring lunch I had and the empty plastic bottles at the front of the restaurant. I ordered Panang curry with tofu - it was just watery sweet coconut milk with some chilli and tofu - very disappointing for my 180.00 Baht, it was not even a busy hour. The view is worth visiting though.

Even if I only stayed four nights (11/24) the super friendly staff and general vibes gave a home feeling from the start! The rooms are basic but clean. Food is local and very nicely done. With a cold beer or one of the cocktails perfect evening sun downer right at your door step! From the cliff the entry in the water is a bit rocky but in front of the rooms there is small beach as well. So the place offers all aspects for a nice island stay! I also had arranged two dive trips with their partnering dive centre which went very smooth as an all in one package.

We stayed for five nights in a deluxe room with king bed and sea views. The room was clean, with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. There were a couple of issues with the toilet upon our check-in, but these were fixed promptly, which was greatly appreciated. The service was mostly excellent and the food was really good with our compliments to the chef for excellent western & Thai dishes. We always ate the western breakfast (yum) and I usually ate Thai for dinner (as when in Thailand…), while my Thai girlfriend often opted for western dishes (the pasta was really good). My girlfriend also likes Som Tam (Papaya Salad) and it was so authentic (so spicy) that even she struggled to eat it (we both had a good laugh at that). The location is quite a bit out of the way, but I had booked two days of scuba diving from the nearby pier, so it was perfect for that. The pier is also worth checking out for other lunch options or booking sightseeing trips on land, but it is a 20-minute walk each way. Whilst I agree with the philosophy of only getting bottled water on the first day and then using the refill station at reception for water, it would be great if housekeeping didn’t throw out all our empty bottles while we were out for the day (but it only happened once towards the end of our stay). Otherwise thoroughly recommended.

This is the best place to stay in Koh Chang! The check in was very easy. They are also pet friendly! This resort feels like a vacation home. The room that we got was absolutely beautiful and clean with the ocean literally right outside our room patio. There are canoes you can use for free and they also have a few beach games you can ask them to use. You can also rent motor bikes to get around the island during your trip. There is also a bar and a restaurant on site that is very reasonable. I booked an extra week just to be able to stay here in tranquility a little longer. This is by far the best resort on oh Chang! Thank you staff so much for being kind and so wonderful and making my stay so comfortable and welcoming. You huys really made me, my wife, & our fur babies feel like family 💕

Fantastic location with swimming pool and snorkeling spots. Directly at the sea. A nice place to chill with a drink and also yummy food Didn't stay overnight though.

Everyone who works here is super nice and helpful! The prices for food and drinks are ok, but a bit higher than in other restaurants on the island. The bungalows are totally fine for the price. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend visiting :)

Very warm welcome from the staff, efficient and friendly. Delicious eatery, awesome views on the sea, free access to the viewpoint, laid back atmosphere with friendly cats and dogs. But be cautious about the monkeys: they're here on their land and they can be a nuisance. There's a nice swimming pool, bicycle can be borrowed. Kayaking activity are available also. But you need to have a means of transportation as everything is far away. Worth the price for 550B but wildlife is a little downside.

Cool place, I absolutely love the rescued animals. The owner clearly has a good heart. Free bikes to borrow and cheap moped rental (wear a helmet). I would rate this 5/5 for couples but it was a bit lonely for a solo traveller - there's a bar/restaurant that closes at 9 and doesn't facilitate much socialization, but it has an absolutely wonderful view and is a great spot for breakfast ||Associated with BB Divers so great spot to stay if you're going scuba diving
