"Bed & bath: 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathsTop amenities: Gas fireplace; Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Netflix Best for: Avant-garde luxury No, your eyes are not deceiving you—that is in fact a tiny house inside the living room of this Airbnb. It holds just one of the five bedrooms in this home just south of the city's downtown. But that isn't nearly the most interesting part of this rental: it's set inside a converted 1930s church, which means that a number of the bedrooms are in the former choir loft. The Airbnb has been fully remodeled with modern features though, like a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a stunning gas fireplace. The church's windows fill the entire space with beaming sunlight, showing off the high ceilings and open plan layout." - Meredith Carey, Alexandra Toto

We love this place! Camelot Cottage is our favorite because it has both a jetted tub and private hot tub. The fenced front and back patios give lots of privacy. The room is a little drafty so bring layers to bundle in in the winter. The breakfast chef is amazing and responsible for the best vegan biscuits and mushroom gravy of my life. We only wish they would let you bring plates back to your own cottage (as they advertise in a promo video) instead of having to eat in the communal dining room. They also have a massage menu and IV hydration options. Our favorite place to stay for Red Rocks concerts and love walking to nearby restaurants and shops along the main street. Book early!

We loved our stay here! The themed cottages are a lot of fun, but the beautiful main house and the people who run the place made it a great experience. Breakfast made-to-order was delicious, and the staff made sure we were comfortable and had everything we wanted. I hope we can return soon!

Our new favorite place! Love the energy and people here. Beds were comfy, decor is funky, people are incredible, breakfast cooked-to-order and delish, and there are private hot tubs in the cottages!!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Props to Andre (great shuttle ride! hope you saw the tip in the cup holder too), Bo the chief (LOVED fast!), Joe at the desk and the owner Frasier. Y'all are awesome. Thanks for a great stay. See ya again soon.

Very unique Inn. Relaxed Hippy vibes, just what we wanted for our Red Rocks experience to include. |Our family of four adults had the ‘stone’ cottage. One queen & futon worked fine. Loved the private hot tub. Didn’t use the kitchen area, we were only there one night, but would be handy for longer stays. |Friendly staff & great breakfast. |Thanks Andrea, Boo & Joe.

Here's a brief comprehensive review. Like others who stay there I saw a concert at red rocks and chose this place to make things easy and convenient and I'm glad I did. This place is not luxurious but very charming. A good proximity to the amphitheatre, they provide shuttle service in a small school bus... with a comfy sofa replacing a few typical seats. This is a huge plus. The walk back isn't bad, only 1.5 miles downhill. The lodge has a very laid back atmosphere with like minded guests. Service is good and the morning breakfast is tasty, as is the included coffee. Rooms are cozy and the hot tub is a nice way to relax after hiking / long day. Bring ear plugs as it's close to the road. Also the rooms don't get too dark so bring a mask if this bothers you. Would stay there again. Nice to wake up the day after a show and go hiking at red rocks.

Everything at this hidden gem is always beyond fantastic. Incredibly friendly staff & service, luxurious cozy rooms, shuttle option for shows at rrx, top notch breakfast & no doubt my favorite place to stay anywhere!! Thanks for keeping up the great legacy here... this place is such a great value & always worthwhile🙏🥰 be sure to book on their site if possible

It was so nice to relax in the private hot tub of my cottage. The bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy. The included breakfast was delicious as well, made to order.

Perfect for a couples getaway or a red rocks show launch pad. Cozy. Cute. Great atmosphere. And the food was amazing! Excellent service. We are local and will go again as a treat/date.

Yelp
My husband and friends stayed in the Dino cottage for his birthday celebration and it was awesome! It was a perfect space for small entertainment and just mins walk from restaurants and bars. The stay was amazing and so accommodating, the staff resolved any minor issues that came up! The breakfast was great and loved the energy and curiosity staff and "homey" feel. We will definitely book again especially since we found out that they have a bus to shuttle back and forth from red rocks shows.

Yelp
Looove this place! Stayed here in 2021 and came back again for a concert at Red Rocks. The hospitality and everyone who works here is awesome! Tip: Call to reserve late checkout at 1:30 for $30. First come first served. Otherwise checkout is at 11 AM. It was nice to enjoy coffee in the lodge after a late night concert. Worth it to take the shuttle (mini school bus with a couch and disco balls!) for $15/person to be dropped up at the top of Red Rocks - beats the long line walking up. $25/person pick up - approx 10 min walk but it's all downhill to the party bus and seemed way safer than all the taxi drivers in your face outside of the amphitheater. Brooks is awesome and takes care of you!! We stayed in the Rose Retreat again. It's a small room, but I love the big shower and mini fridge with Brita. The window air conditioning unit kept the place nice and cool with it being 95° outside. Private hot tub and robes in the closet. Breakfast is included. Order at check-in and enjoy the next morning. There is also fruit, bagels, coffee and tea, with alternative milk available. Bottomless mimosas available for a cost. We enjoyed a nice chess game with coffee after a delicious breakfast. Can't wait for the next visit!

Yelp
Stayed at Cliff House a second time this weekend, this time in the "Sail Away" cabin instead of the "Rose" and had a much better experience. While overall ratings are high, I can see why there is some inconsistency in public opinion. My first visit with my partner was in the summer. We checked into the Rose cabin at 3 pm, and the back of the cabin faced the road where there was a lot of loud motorcycle traffic. Another review cites noise from a loud threesome in the cabin next door as a reason for a one star rating. They said it sounded like they were filming a porno. With the vintage nude photography decor, it would be a great setting for that. It was July when we stayed there and weren't filming a porno on that occasion. At that time of day, it was way too hot to sit in the direct sunlight in the outdoor jacuzzi behind the cabin, listening to motorcycles, and worrying about voyeurs looking through the cracks in the fence. Except for the fact that there were no nightstands next to the bed to put even a glass of water, this particular cabin would be a perfect setting to produce content for your Only Fans page. I did enjoy the patio and eclectic decor and art by local artists in the main building but the mushroom chocolate I consumed that summer day compelled me to feel somewhat seedy in that particular cabin. In the morning, also enjoyed the French toast breakfast. I wasn't in a hurry to return to Cliffhouse after the first visit, but am next time I'm excited to check out the "Zen" cabin. The "Sail Away" cabin was more spacious and comfortable than the Rose. It being winter, I appreciated being able to enjoy the gas fireplace and the jacuzzi at the same time.

Yelp
Horrible wedding venue, on one of the hottest days of the year. No air conditioning, portable swamp cooler not effective on any level. Made what should have been a wonderful day absolutely miserable. If you are going to host people for a venue, you should make sure they are comfortable, not see how much money you can save Do not book during the summer - awful experience. Never again! Your reasoning is flawed, get some portable AC Units instead of trying to make excuses. No wonder why you gave so many negative responses.

Yelp
SUCH a kooky time at the Cliff House! Camelot room was beyond a cool, unique, and accommodating experience

David G.

Yelp
There is simply, not enough space and time to rave about the Cliff House! We felt like we made lifelong friends with their team and they made us feel more like family than paying guests! This place is beautifully nestled in the heart of Morrison and you can walk everywhere!!! Their service is top notch and the entire team is exceptional! The online descriptions of the Cliff House simply cannot encapsulate all this place offers. It is a magically cool, vibey and hip, property that is the ONLY place we will ever stay when we come to Morrison and Red Rocks! Many thanks to owners Brooks, and Frasier, Chef Beaux, Michael, Ross, Anna and August...and all the pups...for a memorable and amazing time! We WILL BE BACK!!!

Gerid H.

Yelp
Went here the day after Valentine's Day for a two night stay for my B-Day. Room was cozy and Quaint. Breakfast was awesome. LOTS of cheese in the omelette, and veggies were delicious. Potatoes a bit greasy, but after a night of drinking it all hit the spot. Only complaint is the check in office was hard to find. Overall a great time and I would highly recommend!

Chelsey E.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for a quick staycation living in Denver. Morrison is such a cute town with great restaurants, shops, hiking and history. The private hot tubs and delicious homemade breakfast really add to the overall experience. The historic lodge built in 1873, themed rooms make for a unique one of a kind atmosphere. My goal is to stay in all 8 of the cottages since each one is so different. Highly recommend checking. Perfect spot for a romantic getaway!

Leonard K.

Yelp
This place has zero regards for true guest experience. Please don't give them your business. I would recommend to nobody.

Larry K.

Yelp
Wish I could give it zero stars. Got Covid, canceled more than 48 hours out, and still got charged for my deposit. Great guest service.

Carina B.

Yelp
I stayed here just over a year ago and I have to say that I think about the stay every few weeks. I can't believe I haven't done a review yet!! I stayed in the Camelot Cottage for a few nights. The staff was fantastic and I loved how they personalize your breakfast. It was soo good. I highly recommend having a romantic getaway here if you can!! I definitely will come here again soon.

Yelp
We stayed in the Dino Den when we went to a concert at Red Rocks. The location is fantastic- I don't know of lodging closer to the venue. It's also in such a cute, small village where there are sweet places to dine and shop. There were three of us girls, and we got the perfect room for us- 2 bedrooms plus comfortable futons in the living room. The mattresses were super comfy with great linens. There are minor repairs that need tended to, like a patch on the bathroom door that needs painted. But what we LOVED was the totally private, huge jacuzzi outside on our own patio. We had a blast there, and you could make it go as hot as you'd like. The breakfasts are huge and cooked to order so it was delicious. I loved eating out on the covered porch. I wish we would have stayed another day.

Yelp
A quaint and historic building, a welcoming and charming staff and fun eclectic decor! We stayed in Camelot room. Fun and a little campy, in the best way! Harold the host was so excellent and took good care of us. Killer java and smoothies! We will be back.

Denise C.

Yelp
A wonderful, relaxing get-away, toured Red Rocks and relaxed at this beautiful place! 1 block from shops and restaurants. Everything was perfect.

Chris W.

Yelp
If you're going to Red Rocks this is the place to stay . Super friendly staff. The hot tubs are very nice after a long night. They cook breakfast for you in the morning. And can technically walk to the rocks.

Jazz M.

Yelp
The Cliff House Lodge is an amazing place to stay. My first time in Colorado and i was led to this exclusive cottage in a small and friendly town. The energy was one that I have never felt before but definitely needed to experience. As I was getting some history about the town I was informed that this particular piece of land brings healing to those who visit. I had the honeymoon cottage and was blown away at the inside. There was breakfast made by the staff every morning. And I must definitely recommend Harold's French Toast. The staff offered a tour of all the other rooms and I must say that they all were perfectly detailed. I will stay here every time I come to Colorado as it is very close to Denver. Well worth the money!!! Hands down one of the best places I have stayed in while traveling.

Cindy S.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place, but my overall summation of the Cliff House Lodge is that it is terribly overpriced for what the customer receives. Our family stayed at three different cottages over the three nights we were there. Only one of the cottages was even barely adequate. All of them were noisy, poorly-lighted, not thoroughly cleaned, and, despite the warning that smokers would be charged for smoking in their rooms, all reeked of tobacco smoke, mold, or both. In addition, we had a toilet that didn't flush properly, a broken shower, a trash dump behind one of the rooms and terribly uncomfortable futons as a bedding alternative for two of our party (who ended up going elsewhere.) The Internet didn't work in two of the rooms. The breakfast was very good and Daniel was charming, but he needs to hire more staff, deal with the infrastructure problems, and give the place a thorough cleaning. If you like paying premium prices for a funky, grungy, smoky, and noisy place near Red Rocks, this place is for you. Otherwise, I suggest you go elsewhere.

Yelp
We just stayed last night for a birthday treat. The little cottage was so cozy and the hot tub was hot and amazing. The super cold temps and snow falling made for an even more wonderful tub time! We had amazing breakfast brought to our room and actually booked our next stay to come back in a few months because we loved it so much! Thanks guys!!!

Hannah M.

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars I would. A guest and I came to stay here right before Christmas and was my second time. The first stay was amazing which is why I came back but holy crap was this place upgraded since new management. Hannah and her crew did an amazing job at upgrading the rooms. We stayed at the Canterberry and it was by far the coolest hotel stay I've ever had. It was decorated to look like an English cottage and I had to keep convincing myself I was only 20 minutes away from home! The whole setting is so intimate including their ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL lobby/lodge area with books, games, instruments, and a huge beautiful porch. The breakfast Hannah prepared for us both mornings was seriously to die for and was included in our stay and delivered to our door! I ate my Yogi bowl along side our private hot tub! Man I can't wait to come back. This place is one hidden gem. Memories to last a lifetime. I only took videos of the room otherwise I would share!

Yelp
Fantastic place for romantic getaway or tryst ;). I found myself @ a local bar in Morrison with friends and by the end of the night, I was in no shape to drive. Being the Fri after Thanksgiving, no way I was going to drive 40 min. back home. Thanks to Yelp, found the Cliff House only a stones throw from the bar. The front desk clerk was very helpful and accommodating - especially considering the state I was in ;-). The "bungalow" he put me in was one of the most romantically furnished I've stayed in. Besides the lovely bed, bathroom, shower, his and her robes; the jacuzzi bath with choice of romantic lotions provides everything needed for a wonderful getaway. There's even a microwave, fridge, sitting area & large TV/DVD so going out is optional. The champagne breakfast served in room next morning was over the top. P.S. I wasn't even in the "nicest" of their suites, the Camelot, is where I'll stay next - especially if I have someone to stay with next time ;-)

Yelp
I was trying to plan a special night away and forget about life and wanted something where my lady and I could relax, sit in a hot tub and just veg out. We succeeded at the Cliff House Lodge. Reserving a cottage was easy to do online...got the Rose Retreat cottage. It is decorated with small boudoir photos, the bed was very comfy, the room was clean with a mini fridge, wet bar, and walk in shower. We had a private patio with hot tub that was fantastic. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. The Cliff House Lodge is located in small town of Morrison, Colorado and is great for an intimate night away of romance and play. I am making plans now for a return within the next couple of weeks. Small bit of advice, don't wait until last minute to book a cottage. This place books up fast. You could have a 2 week wait...especially for a weekend night.

Angie F.

Yelp
Cliff House Lodge was just what we were looking for! Let me be clear, the 5 stars is not a reflection of the accommodations. The cottage was rustic but met our needs. The kitchen was convenient and the shower did its job. The private hot tub was a welcome treat after a day of exploring. They also have a main house where guests are welcome to mingle with other guests and relax. The high rating is for the friendliness of the staff, who voluntarily drove us to our show at Red Rocks. Also the location was perfect. Just a short walk from the Main Street of Morrison with easy access to their great shops and dining options. If you are looking for a welcoming and comfortable (not fancy) place to stay, close to Red Rocks and beautiful scenery this is a great option. We will stay again!

Cara D.

Yelp
Husband and I stayed in the Camelot Room and kept hearing noises in the middle of the night. At 4am the wrestling around got so loud and disturbing we got up and found a GIANT rat in the room. Needless to say we left and sent a message to management and then never heard back. We expected a refund or at very least a courtesy call and got nothing. For $280 a night - I prefer no critters in the room....

Amanda H.

Yelp
Please use your money elsewhere; where hospitality professionals believe in accommodating guests and giving a memorable experience (especially for these prices). I stayed at Cliff House in my twenties. Back then, it was just what a rascal like me and my girlfriends needed; When we didn't care about sleeping in dirty beds, or hanging out in disgusting hot tub waters. We took a chance on this place again, because really, what a great concept! Private, little cottages with your own hot tub in Morrison, CO! Unfortunately, not only did the place totally go down hill from previous ownership/caretakers, but my girlfriends and I had to leave immediately upon arriving. We're easy to please gals, and weren't expecting much. But what we walked into was atrocious. The customer service was some of the worst we had ever experienced. The hot tub water was brown, was cold, and we were told that it MIGHT be warm by 10pm (But isn't this a hot tub cottage?)! There were also stink bugs all over the inside of the cottage. When we tried to speak to someone about the issues, we were told that we had bad attitudes, and that if we weren't going to stay we needed to leave because they already had someone to take over the reservation. Ha! We packed up our things, and laughed all the way home. What else could we do but laugh?! This place has so much potential. It's so sad to see it being run into the ground. I hope one day someone will come in a buy it out and bring it up to speed. Until then, stay at your own risk!

Lara M.

Yelp
Hands down one of the most magical places i have ever stayed. Ever! We stayed in the Peking palace and the decor was eclectic and beautiful. The staff here was extremely helpful and drove us to the top of red rocks for a show. It was a cold show with snow flurries so the hot tub was a welcome treat to come back too. I'm in love with Morrison and this place! Breakfast was great too, the preset coffee maker in the room was a nice touch. Thank you so much for the memorable night. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

Ben S.

Yelp
Made reservations on 21. For two nights Jan 04-2021- Jan 6/2021 paid 136$ deposit, check in paid 336$ total 472$. Left that night after being there 4 hours, honestly because of the smell of urine dealing from mattress. Told them family emergency. Did not mind paying for one night of 136$. Two weeks later they charge me 205$ for one night. There acting manager older guy" caretaker" nothing we can do. 50$ an hour I paid to smell urine sorry lay in urine. Not worth it. They follow to hippy lifestyle when it's meant to be a business!

James H.

Yelp
Don't book the honeymoon suite! It's a very disappointing dumpy and extremely overpriced room. Old fixtures and furniture (old, not antique) the view is of a backyard full of weeds and a broken down aluminum table and chairs. Room was dirty, carpet (about 1970 vintage) was torn. The room was hot (no air conditioning until we complained and then they put in a window unit). Some of the reception staff appeared and acted stoned. We tried to reach the manager but he/she was "unavailable and supposedly out of town". We wanted our full deposit refunded. Still no response to our calls and emails. We were so disgusted we didn't even check in and went back home to celebrate Father's Day and my wife's birthday. Very fortunate we lived only an hour away and were not actually there for a honeymoon! Jim in Erie

Yelp
Woke up this morning craving Angela's pancakes! I cannot say enough good things about this magical place. Fun. Funky. Eclectic. Alternative. Off the beaten path. Your own private hot tub (Which, if you're lucky enough to be there when it snows, is amazing to sit in and watch the snowfall!) We stayed in Camelot, which made me feel like Guinevere. A sunken hot tub inside, a fabulous 4 poster bed, private hot tub, full kitchen and a lovely bathroom with a bench in the shower. I can't say enough about the staff. While you're there, you'll feel like family. When you leave, you'll miss them. If you want a non-traditional place to stay, you've found it. Right down from Red Rocks, so I definitely want to go back and see a show and stay again. Already planning our next trip back. Thank you Angela, Daniel, Laina, Brittany, Tyson and the rest for a fabulous vacation!

Kris A.

Yelp
No one returned my phone call, and then I received an email the day after I called stating my reservation request was "rejected". Very strange and highly unprofessional. I would gladly change my review for an explanation from owner/manager.

Julie L.

Yelp
So much fun! This is a funky, chill, historic, 420 friendly lodge next to Red Rocks that is the OPPOSITE of staying at the Hilton. By that, I mean it is welcoming and real- no gentrification or BS trademark crap happening here. It's a little community, good hippie vibes for real. Our dog was welcome and he made friends with the house pups, we LOVED the Rose room with it's clean, fresh hot tub outside and it's brand new shower & kitchenette inside. The breakfast was fresh and home cooked, the people working were friendly and helpful. If you love the Olive Garden and Holiday Inn Express, this probably isn't your thing. Otherwise, do it! Live a little. Peace

Roselle M.

Yelp
My fiancé and I chose Cliff House Lodge for our last 2 nights in Colorado. This is exactly what we needed after 5 days in Vail with Vail prices. If you are going to a show at Red Rocks this is an obvious place to stay. The cottages are SO FUN. We stayed in the Rose Retreat and it was perfect. Kat is so sweet and helped me pick the cottage over the phone before we arrived. Since this was my birthday trip, a bottle of champagne was waiting in the fridge! The back porch is so chill to hang out after a long day. The town of Morrison is absolutely perfect for dinner, drinks, coffee, shopping. We will be back next year!

Soren M.

Yelp
Great spot in a Beautiful town at the base of Red Rocks, couldn't ask for a more authentic Colorado experience. The people that run it are great and friendly. Walk into Morrison for food and drinks , or stop in one of the shops on Main Street. The rooms have different themes and have a cool rustic charm and the best part is they each have a private hot tub. Also the rooms are 420 friendly, after all you are in Colorado. (When in Rome) Dogs are welcome too, and they offer shuttle service to Red Rocks. Make sure to book ahead of the concert, the place will sell out , so plan ahead. A great romantic spot for you and your love, or a nice spot for the whole damn family.

Stephnaie J.

Yelp
This is our go to spot. We love the cozy cottages and private hot tubs. This time however, our cottage must have been attached to the laundry room. Dryer doors were slamming WAY too early in the morning. Might want to consider afternoon laundry only.

Lin K.

Yelp
Their website is down and I have tried messaging them on Facebook... I live in an area that does not get cell phone reception apparently they don't want my business

Heather K.

Yelp
Couldn't have made better memories with our first trip to Colorado. Very close to Red Rocks Amphitheatre and a awesome little town to grab food and drinks. The room was clean and the jacuzzi was fantastic. We definitely enjoyed the jacuzzi prior to the show at red rocks and afterwards. AND this lodge even provided us with a free ride up to red rocks. Their breakfast in the morning is delicious and all the people working at this lodge were so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

Jennifer E.

Yelp
We chose to stay at the Cliff House Lodge Cottages on our first vacation to the area because of its close proximity to Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge, but also because of the private hot tubs. We stayed in the Stone Street cabin situated right on the corner lot where traffic comes around the bend into the small historical town of Morrison, but there is a privacy fence and a 25 mph speed limit. In addition to the covered patio on the back where the hot tub is, there's also an outdoor side patio that faces the Beer Garden across the street and has direct access to the street. It's just a couple of blocks walking distance from local eateries and shops and only a few minutes drive to nearby parks and another town with more food and shopping options. Inside the cottage is cozy and roomy with a cute decor. Nice walk-in shower and very comfy bed. After a long day of hiking the giant hot tub was just what we needed to relax. The staff was very friendly and on hand for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

Yelp
This is AUTHENTIC Colorado at its best. Pros * Amazing breakfast with lots of yummy fruits, breads, eggs, french toast, teas, drinks, coffee, butter and more. Truly a 5-star breakfast * Lovely staff: Accommodating & kind people * Private hot-tubs in most (if not all) rooms * Wonderful fluffy towels and awesome robes * Ample parking that is off-street and protected * 1 block from excellent restaurants like The Cow - just PERFECT * Easy 15-min drive to Red Rocks parking at the venue * If you're into the hippie vibe and open-minded, this place is PERFECT * I love the cat on the back porch of the main building, the array of beautiful and joyful-sounding birds all around and the general peacefulness the place exudes. * The main house (community room) is lovely, as is the back porch. Cons * If you're not into the hippie vibe, then this place might not be for you. * Some of the rooms smell like MaryJane, ya know, pot. One room (Rose Retreat) gave us a contact-high, but the awesome manager was kind-enough to move us to another room. That said, I felt a little high/tweaked for about 12 hours. I'm the sensitive type :) * Some rooms might be more quiet and peaceful than others, due to proximity to nearby roads. Be sure to ask. Recommendations for the Manager/Owner * In our room (Canterbury) was an odd 1970's shag-combo-skin rug, which we felt was partially alive. Maybe lose the rug? :) * One room you showed us was very dark, although it had an in-living-room hot tub. A little more light would give this room a superb upgrade. * Change the filters in the air conditioners. This might help improve the quality of the air in the rooms. The unit in our room had a red light on, noting that it was past the time for the air filter to be replaced. Molekule.com has amazing air purifiers that might also be helpful, especially for people who are not so into pot smoke. * Share with your awesome customers your process of ensuring clean water in your hot tubs. Is it a chemical cleaner? All natural? Enzymes? How often is the water replaced? --- These things are super-important to prevent people from getting infections and I bet most people would find the information super-helpful. Summary * We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Cliff House. * The proximity to Red Rocks, the great shower pressure, the comfy towels, the parking and the 5-Star breakfast made it a fun and peaceful stay. * Thank you! We love it here!

Yelp
Great place the small house / cabin was lovely, we stayed in the honeymoon cabin. Indoor whirlpool tub, small back yard for sitting, nice front porch, social fun. The Stone house was larger and very nice too. BEST Breakfasts every thank you, Emily!!! The manager Saif was awesome, the people we met were all great! Chill fun and Jerry Garcia stayed here too! Right down the road from Red Rocks!!! this is an aytipical place, sweet hippie vibe, fun, and cool...

Yogi D.

Yelp
I really love this place and the community of givers that work here. I have hosted several couples yoga retreats here and everyone truly gives their heart's out. This is an eclectic and historic lodge right in the middle of Morrison that offers an intimate and private time to relax and enjoy yourself. Nestled in the Foothills of the Rockies and just down the street from World Famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Enjoy the yummy breakfasts and private jacuzzi cottages with perfectly maintained water. Truly a unique place to simply be your self.

Yelp
My wife stayed here since we went to a concert at Red Rocks. I think some of the negative reviews are expecting the wrong thing from this place. No, it's not the fanciest place. The AC barely works. The staff doesn't come into your room everyday and make your bed. It never occurred to me to ask. Maybe they would if requested. But, we were fine with that because it was nice and private. We weren't bothered by anyone. Both the staff and patrons seemed like good people. Note to owners: it would help if you could open a window to get airflow without leaving your front door open while having the door to the private patio open. 3/4 of our AC use was due to not being able to easily get outside air into the cottage. A good exhaust fan out ceiling would fix that. All of the staff and the owners were very nice. Breakfast was good. Some people will love the style, some will hate it.

Yelp
Never again. Filthy, hot, over priced beyond belief. We drank the "complimentary" champagne after washing a dead bug out of the glass, and left. That was how we wasted $300.00 that day. Cancellation policy doesn't exist and don't expect a refund under any circumstances.

Yelp
We had a lovely time! The staff is beyond kind and caring. We stayed in the Stone Street Cottage and found it to be very clean, comfortable, and full of positive energy (read the guest book!). The hot tub was in perfect working order. Thank you!

Yelp
Absolutely adorable! I we stayed in The Zen Room, which I believe had been recently remodeled, and it was beautiful, such a cozy stay on a rainy weekend. This place is a must if you are seeing a show at Red Rocks, they had a short bus that dropped us off nice and close and it was easy enough to grab a cab home we would've walked had it not been so cold and rainy. It was so enjoyable to fill up the in room Jacuzzi and defrost after such a cold concert! The bed was soooo comfortable we slept thru breakfast, but I can't wait to try it next time! We cannot wait to stay here again!!

Yelp
I'm not surprised the reviews here make a big ol' pendulum swing from 1 to 5 stars, with little in between. There was noise bleed and things are a little rough around the edges-- and for the price, if you want sparkle and polish, you'll be very disappointed in your purchase. But we LOVED it. Daniel had kept track of the fact that we were headed to Red Rocks and offered up the best hiking trail to get there. (YAY for not fighting the crush!) The hot tub (Hogback Hideaway) was deep and had good jets, and faced the beautiful hills. They provide plastic wine glasses, knowing guests will wish to have a beverage near the tub. The bed was lushly appointed, the art interesting and eclectic. We opted for time in the hot tub rather than attending yoga, but that's an option at the lodge, too. We found the place beautiful-- though the website photos had led us to believe the themed rooms might be a bit... cheesy. (Angela and Daniel-- you might think of offering Michael Ensminger a weekend stay in exchange for photographing the place. He'd fall in love with the lodge and would certainly capture its charms!)

Yelp
Beautiful lodging option! Morrison is super pretty and the lodge is located right next to RED ROCKS BEER GARDEN! What a perk! Staff is kind and the hot tub was amazing!

Yelp
A really excellent, unique BnB near Red Rocks. The hosts were really nice and breakfast is out of this world good! The cottages are neat and cozy. Two thumbs way up!

Yelp
My gf and I stayed for a few days, we loved it and plan on going back. Everything was better than expected, we drove from michigan so we arrived after the office hours but they stayed up for us (next time were flying). The cottage was very cool, clean and comfortable, awesome private hot tub, down the road from red rocks and close to denver. Cool place, cool people, we'll be back.

Yelp
Great place to stay when you're seeing a show at the Red Rock Amphitheater. Truly a gem of a find.
