Santorini Cliff side suites .We stayed at this hotel for the second week in October and had room 109. The views are the best we have ever had anywhere and although the balcony was not private ( most of them are not) we still had a lot of privacy. We woke up to amazing views walked up three steps to our sun beds and had a table and two deck chairs on a massive balcony enough to hold forty people. The hotel itself was equipped with everything you could want jacuzzis all over and hot tubs. The breakfasts was reasonable although it would have been nice to have eggs cooked freshly. The first couple of days they were cold but as soon as I asked for hot eggs the Zoy obliged and thanked me for suggestion of improvement. The receptionist Stratigoula was lovely and so was Georgis the porter .Zoy in the dining area was also very nice. |Ten points you should know about Santorini .|We stayed in Forostefani and in our an opinion great central location for seeing all of the island and the sunsets.|Quads are cheap as is car hire and Moke hire.|You can eat out for less than 50 euros a night with a carafe of wine if you are selective. Don’t believe all the stories about Santorini being expensive. Aktaion on the corner of the square in Firostefani was amazing. I had moussaka twice in that restaurant it was fab.|We walked from Firostefani to Oia. Do not be fooled . This is a 10k plus hard walk over mountains cliffs and roads on shail paths. I would definitely not have walked back even though the views are tremendous.|Kalmari is a lovely little town with a long promenade walk of restaurants and bars.|Alkotari is a beautiful peaceful spot in the south of the island with amazing views from red beach.|Oia is stunning but sadly it’s full of “I love me” people posing for selfies and photo shoots.|Fira buses are regular and comfortable 2 euros to get anywhere.Fira is like any big commercialised town.|Imogerli is also a beautiful little quiet village north of fira where you can walk out to Skala the big rock in the sea.|Lastly in our opinion Santorini is the prettiest island we have ever seen and suggest to avoid the crowds but still get good weather 24 every day go in May or October.

Fabulous views from the room - very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast very good too. Lots of stairs/steps which are quite steep so not ideal if you have limited mobility. Well placed for shops/restaurants and near enough to airport and ferries. Friendly and helpful staff.

I’ve been dreaming of visiting Greece my entire life — and this summer, that dream finally came true. It had been three years since our wedding, and the wait was more than worth it.|My husband chose this hotel specifically because of its central location, right near one of those iconic postcard-perfect churches you see in paintings and steps away from shops, mini-market and a wide selection of restaurants.|From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They guided us from check-in to planning activities — sharing great tips on where to go, what to do, and even how to get around. They also helped us rent a super fun ATV and an unforgettable catamaran tour. We got to enjoy the full Santorini experience!|A place is only as beautiful as its people — and they have no idea how deeply this trip touched me.|And the room? It had everything we needed: a super comfy bed and pillows, a TV, astable wifi connection, strong A/C, a wide shower head with handheld and a bathtub, soft towels, plus a small kitchen with a sink, cabinets, and a mini fridge. Oh, and the balcony? It came with a breathtaking view! Breakfast was well prepared, with a variety of food and drinks to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Thank you Cliff Side Suite hotel and team, we will be back! And next time, we will bring our twins. I'm sure kids will also love exploring Santorini.

The staff here was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They arranged transport from the ferry port, for a fee, but didn't have to deal with getting a taxi. They helped arrange our rental car. The company brought the car to the hotel then we left the keys at reception for it to be picked up. So convenient. They also booked our catamaran tour and it was my favorite day of our stay. Our room had a balcony and a porch. We were right across from the pool which is also where breakfast is served. The sunsets from our balcony as well as the sitting area above our room were magnificent. The room had nice cool AC. The bed was a bit to firm for me, and there are A LOT of stairs so be prepared. However all of the amazing things outweighed these couple if minor things. It's central located so easy to find shops, restaurants and travel to other villages. Highly recommend.

We had 4 nights here as a family of 4 and loved it so much! It was the most incredible hotel the rooms, staff, pool, everything was perfect. Our room was so perfect it was clean every day and so cool and the views were priceless. Zoe at the pool was such a delight we loved our time by the pool thanks to her kindness. We will be back!

An amazing location hotel. Staff very polite and friendly. We had a wonderful stay with breathtaking views. Forget long walks and drives to beaches. Just stay at your balcony and you will see a whole world in front of you. Make sure you have enough space on your camera

Cliff Side Suites have some of the best views in Santorini. They are located in a quieter area so the walkways don’t get as crowded as they do lower on the mountain.||The beds are very comfortable and our suite was quite spacious. We had a shared balcony but never saw our neighbors. There is so much to do here; sharing a balcony shouldn’t be a concern. And the views from our balcony were stunning. We had a sunset photo trip planned but we cancelled it since our balcony was probably as beautiful plus no crowds.||As with virtually all accommodations on the caldera there are a lot of stairs. This is the price we pay for the view. Visitors with mobility challenges shouldn’t stay on the caldera. More conventional hotels downtown would be a much better option. ||Also, let the guys from the hotel carry your bags from the taxi drop off location. Just call ahead and they will meet you. It makes finding the hotel easier and it will save you a lot of work wrestling roller bags over cobblestones and carrying them down stairs. We tip 5 euros (total) going down and 10 euros going up. They sure earn it but tipping is not required.||Finally, the staff was wonderful. The Greeks take hospitality very seriously and everyone at Cliff Side Suites made sure we had the best experience possible. If we come back to Santorini we absolutely plan to stay at The Cliffside Suites again.

We were just there last week and I miss it already. The most amazing views and scenery. Beautiful mountains and water all around. Easy access to great restaurants, shopping and shows. I highly recommend this island and hotel. You won’t be disappointed!
