We stayed at Cliffrose for our 40th anniversary for 4 days. We worked with Arnold starting with our reservation, room upgrade and room selection, which was the best in the hotel. He even pulled double duty one evening by doing some maintenance in the room. Arnold's attention to customer service was superb. This hotel is the perfect location for visting Zion as it is a short walk to the park entrance which is a huge time saver. The restaurant is a gem for breakfast (Alicia our server was awesome) and dinner even having local music a few nights while we were there. The landscaping was beautiful and well maintained and we enjoyed fire pit and wildlife that joined us every night. What a wonderful time at Cliffrose!

This was my second time here and I’m blown away by the customer service at this hotel. They are all so nice and helpful. We got a room upgrade with our diamond status and it was so perfect for our family of five! It was 2 bedrooms|2 bath and river facing. I highly recommend booking one of the suites with a kitchen because you won’t want to leave. The pool (s) are small but fun and a great way to cool off after a hike. Cliffrose is also located walking distance to the base of the park which is perfect because the car line to get in can sometimes be really long. I hope to come back to Zion and would never stay anywhere besides the Cliffrose !

We stayed two nights at this lovely hotel in Springdale and we really enjoyed it. The location is ideal for exploring the Zion National Park and the hotel is surrounded by gardens adjacent to the Virgin River making it a beautiful base for exploring the park. The birds singing in the morning make for a great way to start the day.||The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped however what stood out for us was the excellent service from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The welcome on check in was a particular highlight with the receptionist offering up lots of really useful local information. Breakfast was also really good. We had arrived from Las Vegas where we had stayed in a much more expensive hotel and, to be honest, the Cliffrose in Springdale was so much better because of the care and attention that went in to making sure we had a great stay. We would happily return, thank you.

This hotel was such an experience. My family and I had one of those stays that we will be talking about for years to come. I recommend a balcony suite facing the majestic red rocks and the creek. There are resident deers that come up to you and such beautiful landscaping with hummingbird feeders on the balconies. It was so magical. The room was clean and staff was amazing too! The hotel is so close to the national park, you could walk to the visitor center there. We will definitely return to this place!

Came July 3-5, 2025. Expensive, but if you want to spend the money it was well worth it. Room, pools, surrounding landscape beautiful. Stream walk, can play in it if wanted. Deer roaming throughout. Pool was fantastic. Has a casual quiet vibe to it. At night we saw people sitting by gas and wood fires. Didn't try the restaurant on site, no review to offer. Very pleased, would come again. My 9 yr. old really enjoyed the balcony riverside room. Convenient to Zions Park

Google
Our stay at this hotel was amazing! The views from the hotel were amazing. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the park. The concierge emailed us ahead of our stay with a list of popular activities for the park. One night while we were at the hotel, they had live music down by the river with smores, it was a surreal experience. You also cant beat the location, it is walking distance to the Zion park shuttle buses. Overall an amazing place to stay

Google
A truly gorgeous and special hotel just down a walking path from Zion. We had a ground floor garden view room and could have spent our entire stay sitting on our patio, looking out at the river and cliffs. Highlights of hotel include the gardens, the lawn by the river, the "relaxation" pool, the free guest laundry, and the very comfortable beds. If we could change anything, we would improve the quality of coffee, both in the rooms and in the lobby.

This has to be the best hotel for visitors to Zion National Park (if budget permits). While pricey and a little dated, you cannot beat the proximity to the park other than the one lodge within the park. I absolutely loved being able to walk to the park, and there were restaurants, a market, and a gift shop all within walking distance as well. ||I chose a riverside 1BR king suite, and was very pleased. There are several buildings on the property, and I believe I was in Building A, close to the river. The buildings are set up like townhouses, with upper and lower units. I had a lower unit with a patio that was facing the Virgin River. I was lucky to have mule deer visit me and snack on the greenery on and surrounding my patio! It was a dream come true for that close of a wildlife experience. FYI, I learned quickly that mule deer are everywhere in Springdale, frequently crossing the busy street and hanging around hotel grounds. It was a lovely sight for me, but take care when driving in the area. ||My suite itself was somewhat dated, which I expected from the pictures on the website. Nothing that affected my stay, but some may prefer a more modern look. The carpeting was the worst - it would be much more aesthetically pleasing with luxury vinyl flooring instead of that reddish carpet. ||Other than the decor, the suite had everything I needed. I loved having a kitchen, and made use of the full-sized fridge to store my reusable water bottles to keep them extra cold on 100+ degree days. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom had 5 fixtures, including a soaking tub and separate glassed-in shower. The size of the shower was a bit of a disappointment - it was a corner unit that was tight for me - I cannot imagine it would be too comfortable for a guy or a larger woman. It at least had sufficient shelf space for toiletries though.||I appreciated that there was no charge for parking, and I had no trouble finding a spot near my building. There was a short ramp/sidewalk from the parking area to my lower level unit. Easy for rolling suitcases down to my unit. ||Check in was easy and my room was ready early. They offer a QR code for electronic payment of the tip for housekeeping - this is nice because I do not like to carry a lot of cash on me. ||Overall great experience and would most definitely return if I come back to Zion.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Our children were attracted to the river in the backyard immediately and there were many amazing surprises in the nature around us! Food was delicious from the restaurant, especially the beet salad and steak fillet Staff were very friendly, especially the gentleman working in the front desk and the ladies working in the restaurant. We would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Everything about this hotel felt special. From the ideal location, to the friendly service, the Cliffrose checked all the boxes for me. The fire pits next to the river are the perfect spot to enjoy the sight of the suns rays reflecting off the gorgeous cliffs. A family of playful deer stopped by to say hi to us while we relaxed there after a long day of hiking. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Zion.

Yelp
What a great place to stay in Springdale. This hotel is right on the riverbank. You could walk into Zion Park. We stayed for the weekend and we needed an extra day so plan on at least three nights to get the full experience of the town and the park. Hotel employees were friendly, there was a small coffee bar in the lobby with excellent coffee. The restaurant is very small but breakfast was delicious. Each meal was $18.00 but the OJ tasted fresh squeezed. Dinner is expensive, burgers are $30 but tasty. Other dinner options are up to $50, so $30-$50 for dinner the appetizer pizza, Margarita was yummy. The big win for me is the heated pool and hot tub. Winner, winner after our burger dinner ") To swim under the stars is just magical. The thing is it's clean, friendly staff and beautiful property. I'd definitely stay again. You're so tired after hiking the park during the day it's great we didn't want to leave the hotel. Things to prepare for the park: we went in January so we didn't need reservations. If you're lucky and can get a car in, there's a line like 30 mins. Take a cooler of snacks and drinks. They have bathrooms and water refill stations in the park. There are picnic areas and lots of green grass at the lodge but if the parking lot is full they shut incoming traffic down.

Yelp
I had an excellent stay here during my trip to Zion. Thanks to Hilton points, my friend and I got upgraded to a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen and patio grill. Due to availability, we were supposed to move to a smaller room halfway throughout our stay, but the front desk moved things around so that we were able to stay in our room. Everyone at the front desk and Anthera (the restaurant) were very nice. Their lobby has a coffee machine, tea, half and half, and most importantly, delicious, fresh made scones. We made excuses to go to the front desk just to get more scones. They also have free yoga on Saturdays, and the view from the yoga studio is absolutely beautiful. We also got to enjoy their 24 hour hot tub after each day of tough hikes. Parking is free and the location is walkable to the Zion visitors center, so it's very convenient for each day of excursions. Concierge is open 24/7. The rooms were very clean and they provided nice bath products. They also have a car service, in case you need a ride to/from someplace nearby. Would definitely stay here again! We were originally considering a glamping resort, but I'm happy that we stayed here instead.

Yelp
I'm want to gate keep this place but this place is worth to book if staying in Zion. The price is a bit steep but you get wifi, access to the river and you're close to the entrance to Zion. The restaurant menu is not kid friendly so take not on that. Really enjoyed my stay, highly recommend.

Yelp
Few years later I am still thinking about our stay at this beautiful property. So peaceful, by the river and the pool was really nice. Restaurant also nice. Staff very attentive and everything was well thought of. We got a standard room but everything else made up for it!

Yelp
This is an amazing Hilton perfectly nestled next to the Virgin river and within walking distance to Zion. The service is welcoming and friendly, the goey de and expertly manicured and maintained and the rooms are clean and relaxing! The restaurant on-site serves great food for breakfast lunch and dinner and between the park, the river and the 2 onsite pools you have plenty of options to recharge your batteries and spend quality time with your family and significant other!! Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend time in Zion, you can park your car and not have to use it again until you are ready to leave!!

Yelp
The Cliffrose Lodge hotel is simply a top notch hotel in an amazing location just outside Zion National Park. We just stayed there for a couple of nights and the first thing that really stands out is how good their hotel staff is. Super friendly and very caring about the customer. I got to meet and talk with them about dining, hiking trails, and just general Zion questions. Carlos, DJ, Zuriel and Ivan from the front desk to Angelique from the restaurant, and Brinlee. The hotel is pretty large with spacious rooms, and overlooks the Virgin river and the mountains of Zion. The river is like 50 ft+ away from the back. They have friendly deer that seem to hang out all over the grounds. They also have a couple of outdoor pools/jacuzzi areas, and then they have a fantastic dinning restaurant. You can dine in or order room service. In the lobby, they have free bottled water, coffe and tea, and then a barrel filled with healthy breakfast bars and nuts. I am not sure I can remember free bottled water. :) Room service was great. We had 3 of us, and needed extra blankets and pillows and towels. They were very good about accommodating us. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Zion. Great stay. Thanks Tyler as well for booking us! A few photos included to show the hotel and area.

Yelp
We stayed at Cliffrose this Winter for my first visit to Zion national park and it was perfect! Going in the off season, we had very little crowd to compete with and spent all our non-park time staring at the beautiful Zion scenery from their several outdoor heated pools and hot tubs. We managed to time it with snow and a meteor shower which was such a cool experience. Even had some elk that wandered nearby while sitting in the pool. The spa is wonderful and our massages were honestly some of the best we have ever had. Also enjoyed a nice meal at their attached restaurant. Absolutely coming back next time we are visiting Zion.

Yelp
It was a very pleasant stay at this location. 5 star services for the check in process, nice restaurant recommendations, and Zion National park info. Only thing I didn't like about the place is the bed. But I won't give anything less than 5 for the bed.

Tom N.

Yelp
Great location to Zion. Beautiful property next to a river. Hot tub is great and the back yard is looking straight to the mountain. 2mins away from Zion National Park entrance. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food is great. Room is clean and bedding is comfortable. Only one downside is that out of the 3 EV chargers only one was working and if someone use it you're out of luck. I had to run to the neighbor hotel to use it which is not cool. They need to get all the chargers fix otherwise u better plan ahead if u are going to stay here. Luckily my Tesla was charged before I arrive.

Yelp
As a Diamond member and being off season we enjoyed an upgraded room that included a front room and full kitchen. The front room was comfy as we watched World Cup soccer games each morning. The bathroom was large with a full size tub, separate shower and double sink. The separate bedroom was quiet and comfy. Only complaint was the pillows, but I complains about that pretty much everywhere. Our room was located facing the mountains and river - Thank you!. Short distance tot he heated pool and spa. Though we were tempted by the outdoor spa, we were not brave enough to be there in the cold weather. Make sure you use a cart to get your luggage down to the river rooms, the walk it's a bite steep and the cart helps make life easier. The room came with Starbucks coffee, dishwasher, stove and plenty of counter and storage space. Definitely a Curio category. the staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. there is a small bar in the lobby worth getting a nightcap, keep in mind you are in Utah - so you will need to order an appetizer. Friendly staff, great location, comfy rooms yielded a relaxing getaway. Tip - walk across the street to FEELLOVE for a quick breakfast and coffee, or bring back to your room, like we did, to catch the World Cup matches

Yelp
I am typically hesitant to post reviews unless they are overwhelmingly positive, but feel some information may be helpful to those considering a stay at the Cliffrose Hilton. The good: Beautiful location, very nicely maintained grounds, friendly staff, a nice restaurant which we did not have the opportunity to try. The not so good: Our room (102) had no hot water on either the night we checked in or the following am, a musty smell, and surprisingly thin walls allowing us to hear our neighbors' bathroom activity. The primary outdoor hot tub was lukewarm at best. To the hotel's credit they did switch us to the next room over, which addressed the room's hot water and musty smell issues. Considering the price we paid for the room, I certainly would have expected more. I have to think this wasn't the first time a guest complained of this issue (there is a Trip Advisor review written by a different reviewer with similar feedback). I also have the feeling that if this were truly a unique situation there would have been more of a surprised reaction by the staff and perhaps some kind of gesture besides just switching rooms. Again, many fine aspects of the hotel and its staff...but realize the possibility that your room might be more of a 2 star experience.

Yelp
This hotel experience was off the hook. The manager contacted us the day before asking if it was ok to upgrade our room. What a treat after the hotel we stayed in the night before at grand canyon. Check in was smooth, staff was polite and they have coffee/snacks in the lobby. Our room was amazing!! I wish we were staying here a week. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and that too was very good. The view out our room was remarkable. I will DEFINITELY stay and recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at Zion. It's walking distance to the shuttle as well as local eateries.

Yelp
The customer service was outstanding. The location could not be beat as it was walking distance to the entrance of Zion. The bed was so comfortable that we Googled the brand and plan on buying the same mattress and pillows for our house. The room itself had a little bit of wear but it is expected as this is a highly popular destination. The water pressure could have been better but that's my only gripe. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

Lisa B.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food! Our server, Crystal was amazing. We stayed here for two nights and took advantage of the fire pits with the tranquil sounds of the river. On our next trip back to Zion we will be staying here and eating at the restaurant again. A great experience around.

Yelp
Beautiful Hilton property with EXCEPTIONAL customer service, especially the AWEsome concierges, DJ and Arnold! They collaborated to curate and deliver a special b-day gift to a special friend who was vacationing with her son and friends. She has been stressed out due to her son's ongoing medical issue, so her b-day surprise brightened her day and enhanced her relaxing stay. This was her second stay at CLIFFROSE SPRINGDALE, CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON, and she plans to return! Thanks for going above and beyond, DJ, Arnold and Cliffrose crew!

Yelp
Big pro is the location. The room is clean and the staff is so very nice. We had a great deck with a nice lookout to the mountains and river. Some cons: they have gardeners who work all day starting quite early in the morning and they use gas powered leaf blowers (bring ear plugs if you want to sleep in). The walls and ceilings are thin as well so you can hear your neighbors clearly so pray you're not near kids or anyone who slams doors. Speaking of doors, the bathroom door in our room didn't lock (maybe it was just our room?) and it didn't close properly, luckily we're married so it wasn't a problem but it could be for the next guests. Other than that, we paid a LOT for this room which was advertised as a suite and it's really just a small room with a nice deck. Perhaps change the name and price of the room, it's not what it's advertised & priced to be. And please mellow out on the loud gardening. Thanks!
google avatar

Jolie F.

Yelp
This hotel is all about location! No car needed to walk into park. Just a short distance away. Hotel backs up on a river and has a lovely backdrop of the mountains. Beyond the beauty of the location and backdrop of hotel, the staff are lovely as they aim to please!!! If my review was based solely on the staff and location the hotel would get 5 stars. But as we all know there is a lot more to a hotel! My hotel roomswas not up to par. Hilton bought the hotel and tried to do a quick fix to sell it as a Curio. And as a frequent visitor of Hilton hotel, including the Curio line, this hotel does not make the cut. The hotel room we stayed in was in shambles: broken tile floor, musty smell, temporary blind on door, chipped mirror and trim missing between bath tub and bathroom door. I expect to see this at an outdated motel6 but not at this level of a hotel. If you don't mind spending money for location then this is your place. If you are looking for value than look elsewhere! Perhaps the Hampton Inn just down the street is a better choice for a fraction of the cost!
google avatar

Ethan G.

Yelp
The title is also codenamed a Hilton Oriented Hitel. The Hotel rooms and service are very good and affordable but the TV has so much inevitable DIRECTV modems in all the hotel rooms and there is not one or more tv channels on demand and I can't easily get a Hulu or Netflix on here for some reason... I couldn't be able to get Phineas and Ferb or Kids Baking Championship to record or play the episodes... At least screen mirror movies with iPhone. Lights remain dim when I couldn't find a light switch but it's by every bedroom/bathroom/living room... I thought the hotel room was going to be an AirBnB... it turned out to be a big hit for the hotel... A view of the Balcony and the river for river rafters.. The hotel made some change significantly... The village is still the same in Zion

Yelp
Recently stayed in the Grand View Villa for my birthday, and it was incredible! They gave me a birthday gift and were so accommodating. The rooms were so clean and nice. The kitchen was amazing for making food. The pool was amazing as well! The views out the window were amazing!!! Thank you Cliffrose!!! We loved it so so so much!!

Yelp
Amazing stay! Loved the views from our room, close proximity to the park, and the staff was friendly.

Yelp
This is one of those reviews that you hesitate to write because you don't want the place to get so popular that it makes it difficult to return. But being the helpful Yelper I strive to be, here it goes... The Cliffrose was fantastic. I didn't want to leave, and I can't wait to go back. The property is extremely conveniently located near the entrance of Zion. The mountainous backdrop is gorgeous and was a sight for sore eyes each morning. The river that runs along the property line makes it feel like you're actually in the park. Deer roamed the grounds daily. The pool was so refreshing after being in the hot sun all day. And having FeelLove Coffee right across the street was an amazing bonus (it's freaking delicious!). The patios are nice, and the bed is heavenly!! The rooms are spacious and feel very clean. And the hotel restaurant was pretty good. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious, and I highly recommend the hummus appetizer and chicken Caesar wrap for lunch. Just wish it was open later since everything closes so early in Zion. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hayley H.

Yelp
This place is...fine. The good: location is excellent - being walkable to the park let's you get in an hour earlier vs. those who have to take the Springdale shuttle. The grounds themselves are lovely and well kept. Just walking around outside and seeing the deer / bats swooping at dusk is so relaxing. The pool / hot tub set up is really clean and beautiful and has lots of comfy recliners. The not so good: the rooms do not match up to what you pay. The rooms at the Springhill down the road are far nicer for ~60% of the price. Shades don't fully cover the windows, things have a fair bit of visible wear and tear, the room never stopped feeling slightly humid and damp. This felt like a room you'd find at a lower end regular Hilton, not a Curio collection that supposed to be something special. The lobby didn't give the best first impression either. As soon as we walked in I got the sense that this place wasn't going to be as nice as I expected, which is unfortunate given how elegant all the marketing is, not to mention what you pay.

Yelp
Wow how do I even start about this dream stay. We got back from Cliffrose yesterday and I consider it one of the best places I stayed. We arrived on Saturday much earlier than expected and room wasn't ready yet which we figured, but stuff made sure we could have room by 2:30pm which is super nice. While we were waiting we walked the ground and it was so picturesque and we had lunch in ANTHERA (restaurant in hotel which I will talk about separately). The room was mind blowing, all new and models with views that took my breath away, I'm a big fan of Zion and stayed in room with view on watchman and other rocky Mountains around it was truly special. We went for sunset hike to observation point which we could take car not a shuttle and since hotel is next to the park gate it took 15 min to get to parking for hike. I felt like we lived inside the park. After we had other amazing dinner at ANTHERA. In the morning we did Angels Landing and we walked 10 min for free shuttle (you can't take car in that part of the park right now) but it's super close and shuttle runs every 2 min. So the trip was super smooth and we were back in the hotel right after. We walked about Springdale shops which is always right there there and sat by fire pit at evenings. There are a lot of electric fire pits and some real ones by the river. We went to hot tab which was also unforgettable to be there and look over that incredible view. It was like a dream and I can't wait to come back. The room was duper clean, with amazing bedding and comfortable bed to sleep on. The shower and tab in room was like in the best hotels I ever stayed and def the best I been in Zion. Foodwise I wanted to point out that we never ate anywhere besides ANTHERA. The food quality, the portions and the price are the best I seen in Zion. And we stayed before couple of times, also tried to walk for dinner somewhere else one of the dinners and came back. If you want to explore and try something then of course you can, but if you want to chill on the grounds it a huge plus to have great meal options on the grounds. They also serve wine and beer and I heard cocktails were coming). And last but not least I lived in NYC for past 10 years and walking around deers all the time felt like I was connecting with nature even more) Zion NP is a must see place to experience it's beauty but Cliffrose made it even more special with amazing rooms, views, food, fire pits and people who work there! Thank you team for making this dream place!

Yelp
Spent the weekend here to enjoy Zion and couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Staff was outstanding: greeted you before you were almost in the door, friendly, helpful, gave great suggestions. Only thing I could say that may be sort of negative: the room's "clean smell" was almost overpowering but with the balcony door open for a short time and that was dissipated. Room was immaculate, spectacular views out the back, hot tub overlooking the River and canyons a super short drive to the park. Walking distance (or a very quick drive) to many shops and restaurants.

Sergul E.

Yelp
great location and beautiful property. staff was great and everything was really clean. have to give JD a shoutout. he really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel at home. Hilton has a great employee with him and he should be an example of service in the hotel industry.
google avatar

Rachael B.

Yelp
Whatever you do, do not let them place you by the pool on the end of the property (not the big one the smaller one) Non hotel guest come in herds to use the pool and it's basically just loud ass trailer trash. You'd think for the price they would be more proactive about making sure the amenities within the property are pleasant and comfortable for their PAYING customers.

Yelp
Best part of our stay was the location. Pretty view from the room and easy few minutes to the park and other businesses. Room service- appalling. Late by an hour and some, no apology. Housekeeping did not restock coffee two days in a row. Restaurant was mediocre. Don't stay on the ground floor. Fellow guests above us were noisy and walking around till past 1pm.

Yelp
The Wilted Rose is a better name. We planned a long awaited family vacation to Zion and made reservations next door at the Cable Lodge. However, after looking at the reviews online we decided to change to the Cliff Rose and made reservations using Hotel.com. Prior to the change I spoke with several people at the front desk about the room, view, and amenities. Basically they sold me on the superiority of this facility. We were in room 102 in the oldest area of the hotel and it was apparent that it was not maintained well whatsoever. Lights did not work, plug in did not work, the refrigerator stopped working. It was a mess. The location was nice but beware of the over priced rooms and runned down amenities. Checking in to the hotel I should of known after hearing 3 co-workers talking about getting COVID-19 at the front desk area while I'm waiting to be checked in. Then after 5-10 minutes one employee gets up and checked me in finally. I was not greeted for this time just standing there listening to the gossip about COVID-19 amongst employees. Most concerning is much of these issues occurred as a corporate Hilton executive inspected the facility and directed staff to make changes. The staff was more focused on the review by corporate than the guests. Very concerned with the Hilton Curio name in future reservations.

Yelp
Super great service at the hotel. Nice grounds. Nice pool. Restaurant had an excellent view, reasonably priced menu, good food and great entertainment. The room was so-so but I'd still go back without hesitation.

Yelp
Best hotel we stayed at throughout our time in Utah through "The Mighty 5." It is a 5-10 min walk to Zion's entrance. Great restaurants in the surrounding area. Very clean with helpful staff. Several relaxing pools and hot tubs which is perfect after long days of hiking.
google avatar

Joan G.

Yelp
If you are going to Zion, this is the place to stay!!! Very nice rooms, pool and most importantly, hot tubs!!! Cliffrose is less than 1 block from the entrance. We walked into the park each day and then took tram to drop off point for that day's hiking. Incredible views of park from Cliffrose. We will definitely stay there again!!

Emily K.

Yelp
Super good service. Concierge Arnold was super nice and helpful. Luke at the front desk was so nice and always ready to help. Everyone was great there. The room was nice and clean. They should seal around the doors better because cold air gets in a lot. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Yelp
The Cliffrose Lodge exceeded my expectations in every way. This place is awesome! I enjoyed the beautiful views, great rooms, and friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay near Zion. I would most definitely stay here again.

Yelp
When I first started planning our trip to Zion, I was disappointed that the Zion National Park Lodge was sold-out. I then turned to looking at the hotels in Springdale. I knew I wanted to be as close as possible to Zion and the Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens did not disappoint. When we pulled up, I was so thrilled with the location and the hotel itself. Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens is located in the heart of Springdale, mere yards from the Zion National Park entrance. While all of Springdale enjoys an unexpected lushness of greenery and flowering plants (due to water form the Virgin River which flows through town), the Cliffrose in particular boasts beautiful gardens and even fruit trees which contrast dramatically with its backdrop of sandstone cliffs and barren land. I didn't expect to love this resort as much as I did. On paper, it looked certainly comfortable (and clearly more than your average resort-area motel), but in person, it was so much more. It is beautifully laid out to mesh with its surroundings, the units are steps away from the river and shaded by the well-kept gardens and grassy areas. The desert air felt ten degrees cooler on the property, and even at full-capacity, it felt very peaceful and welcoming. The Cliffrose has a full-size pool and hot tub, a covered area for private parties, a small playground for toddlers, and best of all, river access with a sandy beach, fire pits, picnic tables, and chairs. The river is perfect for wading and floating. There was no restaurant on-site, but Springdale is filled with great places to eat. Our king-size room was perfect. The living area had a sofa & chair, coffee maker & small refrigerator. The bed was super comfy. The tub & toilet are separated from the sink. The deck had 2 chairs. The only odd thing is the air conditioner unit sits on the deck and was blowing hot air. But the view from the deck is amazing, so we survived. We had a wonderful 2 days in Springdale staying at the Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens.

Yelp
My fiancé and I go to a lot of hotels so we are picky. This is our new favorite hands down. It's literally walking distance to the Zion National Park entrance and the views from the room balcony are breathtaking. They had a surprise live musician at night with our dinner who was fantastic. Majestic tame deer come right up to the property, which for Us was the coolest thing ever. The room was wonderful and the bed so cozy. There's nothing we didn't like. Even the front desk people were extremely helpful and kind and got us ice each night for our drinks. Can I give this place 10 stars?

Yelp
What a great location! Just next to the park entrance, virgin river, brewery and other restaurants in town. The restaurant onsite is also great for breakfast and dinner. I ordered the Zion breakfast each morning, and either the pancakes or waffles which was fantastic. The room we had was very dated and beat up quite badly. But with a view of the river, mountains, and pool it was acceptable. Also, the far/side pool was quite dangerous as there were no lights inside or around the pool at night. The hut tub jets never worked although still very hot and enjoyable. We did report it, and I hope they do fix it soon. Big shout out to the front desk staff, especially DJ, and Rosemary from the restaurant. The staff/team as a whole made our trip very memorable and very eager to return to this location. Thank you, Cliffrose!

Yelp
Lovely hotel, beautiful scenery, minutes from Zion pedestrian entrance, good food. The room isn't super big but sufficient with 2 queen beds. After hiking all day we slept hard like a rock.

Yelp
I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Zion National Park. First this hotel is one of the closest hotels to the park and we were less than 100 yards from the entrances. The grounds are immaculate and the hotel staff accommodations are some of best I have had all year. I appreciate Arnold to making our trip feel like home (thanks buddy). We stayed here on the first week of the Cliffrose hotel transfer to the Hilton Curio collection. All I can say is this transfer was done with ease. Next time we are in the area we will be staying here. If possible book room 142 it has stunning views of Zion National Park and can accommodate up to 6 people with two bedrooms/two bathrooms and full kitchen. -Dr. Sams

Yelp
We stayed here for the New Years countdown and we booked the suite facing the pool and hot tubs. I was worried it will be noisy at night but it was ok. Since our room is #48 which is on the ground floor, you need to walk a down the slope from the car park. The positive side is that we get deer visiting us every morning while we are having breakfast. The kitchen has complete sets of utensils and it's is spacious. There are on side launch which very close to our unit. There are 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. I got the chance to use the hot tubs all myself at night looking at the full moon. They have free coffee and tea at the lobby office and you can buy drinks and snacks too. The staff are very friendly. We don't see any rats or mouse trap but the friendly black cat visiting us at night but we don't have any cat food to share. It is a little pricey but I highly recommended for comfort, great location to food and grocery store and walking distance to Zion National Park.

Yelp
What a lovely hotel and experience even during covid. Room was extremely clean and service was so friendly. I felt we were close enough to walk to shuttle services to go into the park and see places like Angel's landing and the narrows with ease. Other restaurants and coffee shops were close by too. View out our room was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Price is probably steeper than other hotels but in my opinion very worth it!

Yelp
Great place to stay in Zion! I will stay there again. Pros: - Location. The hotel is within walking distance of park visitor center and shuttles - View is amazing, overlooking cliffs - Hot tub and very warm heated pool with gorgeous view - Clean rooms - Amenities in the lobby are good and convenient. Complementary tea, coffee (creamers), hot/cold water - Lobby looks as modern and stylish as other Curio I stayed in - Service and food is great Cons: - Rooms are fine but nothing special for the Curio brand - *Now with COVID restrictions they offer dining in for dinners only; for breakfast you are forced to order room service which comes with a $6 service fee. As the restaurant is closed, in lieu of a normal complimentary breakfast for some hhonors tiers, you're given a $30 room credit, which after the room service fee of $6 and taxes really only covers one person's meal

Yelp
Super cozy!!! Right at the entrance of Zion National Park. You can literally walk there if you had to. Check in was a breeze, plenty of parking, and our room had a patio that overlooked the river. I slept with the window open to hear the water. It was so peaceful. The bed was so comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows (just how I like it). Two flatscreen tv's, a microwave, mini-fridge, lots of electrical outlets, pull out couch, coffee maker, blow dryer. As far as amenities go, this place had it all. Even the breakfast buffet with amazing. Breakfast burritos, eggs, sausage, home-fries, bagels, fresh fruit...it's wasn't the cereal and toast you usually see at most breakfast buffets. Expectations were definitely exceeded. The fact that it was pretty quiet when I visited was a plus. During the summer months I image it's quite busy, full of nature lovers alike. Another perk was that it's in close proximity to some pretty good restaurants. I recommend the brewery. Beers and burgers after a long day of hiking...YES PLEASE! The Thai place across the street was packed every day we were there, so we didn't get the chance to try it. It's next on my list when I come back. I'd love to stay here again.

Yelp
We went over the holiday week and getting into the park was a nightmare between construction road closures and closing of the scenic drive due to volume. I was pleasantly surprised that you can walk into the park close to Cliffrose. We did the Watchmen's hike from there. The check in staff was very nice and gave us tips if things to do in the area. The Bistro at the hotel looked to be closed, but they recommended some other restaurants close by. The room was nice and the grounds pretty. Not much for nightlife in the odd season, so we brought a DVD to watch since they had a player. However, the player wasn't hooked up and the remote was all crusted inside from battery acid. We also didn't see the daily hot breakfast that they advertised. Not a perfect visit, but still a good choice for a park visit.

Yelp
We stayed here couple of weeks ago and had an absolute amazing time I visit Zion pretty often it was my first time staying at this Hilton. I will be back for their great location, amazing rooms and impeccable customer service. I would like to thank Zuriel who made our stay extra special. Thanks for the upgrade and for all the amazing act of kindness in these hard times.

Yelp
This place I can guarantee you is a wonderful place. We had 7 people and we booked a two bedroom suite. Let me tell you that the location of this place is just like a 10 Minute walk to the main entrance of the Zion's national park. Driving there only took us 5 mins without traffic. The suite we got was super clean. We had a two bedroom, two queen beds and one king size bed, a kitchen, a living room and a balcony. The noise level at this place was really quiet. There wasn't much outside noise we could have heard. The rooms are big and so is the bathrooms. The stove worked like a charm and there is every single kitchen utensils that I needed. The staff was super friendly. I loved our stay here and would definitely come back. Even the outside surroundings are beautiful..

Yelp
Arrived here in the dark and woke up to a view from our balcony that brought tears to my eyes. Awesome!!!- in the true sense of the word. I'd seen the photos on the Lodge's website, but was still blown away. Loved this place and its location! Can walk to Zion National Park's entrance as it's the second to the last lodge. We would all stay here again even after driving by all the other places in town. This is the best pick! Stayed here 5 nights with family using two units facing the creek with one at each end of the grounds. There is a pretty paved path through the gardens connecting the entrances to each other, the pool and the parking lots (which are up the hill and on the other side of the buildings.) #50 had a patio with table and was larger, on the end of a building that had many units. It had a full kitchen (even a mini dishwasher!) Double sink huge bathroom! This was a corner unit and being on the far end of the grounds, felt private. There is a path leading down to the creek and chairs to sit on to watch the water beneath the canyon walls. #40 (or #140, not sure as it was labeled two ways) was in a separate building with only 4 units. Two up and two down with entrances on opposite sides so you felt like you had the whole floor. Ours was on the upper level facing the canyon (instead of the pool). Breath taking sunsets! We had a partial kitchen with a full fridge, toaster, microwave and sink. Both units were decorated in the same red and brown tones with amazing photography art of Zion National Park. There are two resident black and white cats that we had fun petting and feeding. The gardens weren't quite in bloom yet, but I could tell it will be amazing in just a couple weeks. The pool was fantastic and the hot tub did the trick to sooth sore hiking muscles!
