An Unforgettable Experience at Clifftop Exclusive Safari Lodge Our stay at Clifftop Exclusive Safari Lodge was absolutely magical from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel completely at home. To be honest we left on such a high!!! The team and service were exceptional — every detail was taken care of with such care and professionalism. We wanted a room with a river view Isaac made it happen with continuous updates during the day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every moment was special, and their passion for what they do truly shines through. Isaac (Day Manager) Nthabiseng (Night Manager), Patric (Butler) and Janelle (Ranger)you guys left us speechless and will be in our hearts forever! The views from the lodge are breathtaking — perched high on the cliffs, overlooking the vast wilderness, it felt like we were in our own private paradise. Watching the sunset from our deck was simply unforgettable! Our game drives were a highlight of the trip. Janelle is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife, ecosystem, and conservation efforts. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five — up close and personal — and every encounter felt unique and deeply memorable. Clifftop Exclusive Safari Lodge is pure perfection — luxurious, peaceful, and filled with heart. We left with full hearts, lasting memories, and a deep appreciation for everyone who made our stay so special! THANK YOU

From the moment we arrived at Clifftop, I knew it was going to be special, but it still managed to exceed every expectation. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, perched high above the valley with views that seem to go on forever. You can literally sit on your deck, hear the river below, and watch eanimals wandering through the reserve while sipping your morning coffee.||The staff were exceptional warm, genuine, and truly attentive without ever being intrusive. Every meal was beautifully presented and honestly some of the best food I’ve had in the bush. Our game drives were incredible too we had close encounters with lions, rhino, all with a guide who was passionate and full of fascinating insights.||The suites are private and luxurious, with a plunge pool overlooking the cliffs perfect for a glass of wine at sunset. Every small detail, from the turn-down touches to the soft lighting and cozy fireplace, made the experience feel deeply personal and peaceful.||Clifftop isn’t just a lodge it’s a place that reconnects you to nature and quiets your mind. I left feeling completely restored and already planning when I can return.

With only a small number of guests, the entire experience feels intimate, peaceful, and incredibly special. The staff are honestly exceptional; friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond. Nothing is ever too much; whatever you ask for, they’ll find a way to make it happen.||||The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, from the sweeping views to the tranquillity of the bush that surrounds you. It’s the perfect place for anyone who loves high-end comfort while being immersed in nature.||||A truly unforgettable stay. I can’t recommend it enough.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE, INCREDIBLE GAME SIGHTINGS. THE FOOD HONESTLY WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. We loved everything about our stay and we dont think things get any better than what we experienced. We are from south africa so seeing wildlife is part of who we are and we were blown away, Mo was such a great guide never hesitated to give us information and to go over our game viewing time to show us something great. We had an incredible stay at Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway. The staff were warm, attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding, the rooms were luxurious, and the views over the river were unbelievable. The game drives were excellent, with knowledgeable rangers who created a relaxed and memorable experience. Highly recommended for a romantic and peaceful getaway.

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit Clifftop for our Honeymoon. What a wonderful experience. From the moment you arrive at Clifftop you are met with exceptional staff who make you feel like royalty. The food was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal, the game viewing was comparable to none and the lodge and rooms are out of this world. I can honestly say that there is no way that any other more expensive lodges can keep up with the Clifftop team.

Very disappointing after it was highly recommended! We both got so ill after our last breakfast at checkout which unfortunately led to not wanting to go back. Toilets were dirty in lounge area and food sitting for some time with no covers were attracting fruit flies and who knows what else x I did make a call to management which failed to even call back and check on us after I mentioned my husband & I had to get to a doctor we felt dreadful.An email sent and also no response - we won’t be going back,such a pity as the actual place is exquisite.Getting so ill afterwards has put me off entirely

This is the most amazing place, we have just left after spending 4 days at Clifftop and it was an unforgettable experience!||We stared in room 2 which had the most amazing views. ||The star of the show was Nadine, our ranger for the time we spent there, she is knowledgeable, experienced and cares passionately about the animals and the safety of her guests ..||We were very privileged (and lucky) to see the ‘big 5’ .. another shout out the Nadine! But it’s not guaranteed… don’t go with the expectation ..appreciate all of the other wonderful animals that share this amazing location..||Allergies are taken seriously and catered for. I am gluten free and vegetarian and it wasn’t an issue, I was served at the same time as my husband and the menu choice was as extensive..||We would 100% recommend and look forward to coming back soon…
