Cool collection of rare magazines and books focusing on sex, LGBT culture, and other related topics. They're in a back alley, with very steep stairs. Hard to access for plus sized and disabled people.

An absolutely wonderful store - a true hidden gem from Isabella Burley whose work at Dazed I have long admired! I had the pleasure of visiting the store a few weeks ago and keep meaning to write the review. We met Joseph who was incredibly helpful and a joy to speak to - I have had a passion for collecting fashion photography books since my late teens and have witnessed the slow disappearance from some brilliant spaces in central London. Visiting this wonderful shop - also their head office made me fizz with pleasure and nostalgia and it was a genuine treat to speak to Joseph who is clearly passionate about what they do at Climax and a fountain of knowledge. I am very much looking forward to coming again and also to visiting the new store in NYC when we go there in April 2025. While I was there I managed to purchase a fabulous poster of Sophy Rickett’s P*ssing Women…. now if only I was a year earlier I would have also been lucky enough to have the book. Simply awesome for any fashion lover If you have the chance definitely pay them a visit!
