CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains - Zipline Tour

What an amazing adventure. My instructors Grace, Alex(Axel) Matt and Alex who was tagging along learning made the trip way better then advertised. They were very knowledgeable and also knew how to keep everyone entertained for 2 and half hours. Also made sure everyone was safe and aware of all safety protocols. I would highly recommend to anyone trying to get out and do something adventurous.

Everything the previous posters said is true. Our guides, Emma, Alex, and Evie, were terrific and it’s obvious that they enjoy working together and love what they do. They were absolutely focused on safety for everyone as well as making sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. My friend and I are both in our 60’s-70’s and hadn’t done zip lining before. While we declined to go upside down when invited to do so, by the end we were comfortable enough to strike poses and let go of the bars. We both HIGHLY recommend this company. BTW, if you are/were military, they will give you a 15% discount. I will add that you should be prepared to climb a lot of steps and go across a couple of rope bridges as well as to do a controlled descent from the last tower (i.e. no steps). Emma was great at encouraging everyone to do it and ensuring that we were safe.

The most bad ass experience ever! The views are amazing for one!! The length of the lines are awesome, and all different lengths. Don't go anywhere else but here. Everyone was so nice and helpful. All the guides talk to you and get to know you and see what your doing while on your trip. Hadley would hook us and to get ready to send us down to the other guides who were Pierce and another guy I dont recall his name. These guys made the trip great.

It was my first time zip lining and they made it a super fun experience. Autumn, Pierce, and Maple were fabulous instructors. Starting from a very basic zip away to the coolest one going upside down was memorable. I immediately wanted to do it again. Starting from UTV going up in the mountain and 6 lines down the mountain; definitely worth every penny. A special thanks to Maple for taking good care of us and making sure we have fun but safely. I'd sure do it again with CLIMB works without a doubt.

Had a great experience zip lining! The people were very nice, check in process was easy, and no questions were left unanswered! We had Jo, Pierce, and Hadley on our tour guide and they were absolutely wonderful! Very informative, gave reassurance amongst those who were nervous in the group but also encouraging! They made our 9:40AM tour very fun, exciting, and adventurous! Would highly recommend this place! I would do this over and over again! Loved my first time experience and will be returning for sure!! ✨

Traveling from Texas with a group of 6 - 3 generations in our group so ages varied. If you have a big group like us make sure you book a head of time to make sure y’all get the same time slot. We all have never been on a big zip line. Our guides Mabel, Braylon and Bo were wonderful! They made us feel so comfortable soaring from great heights and did a great job demonstrating the techniques safely. The views of the Smoky Mountains were so beautiful. I also recommend the photo package, which included group shots, individual shots and action shots. They go straight to your email after.

Husband and I decided to do something new for our 23rd wedding anniversary and his birthday Hands down the best first Zipline tour ever! Our guides Beau, Evie and Jon were simply the best! They helped ease nerves by walking us through every step and process. The views were breathtaking and the CLIMB was worth it! We will be back with our boys! 10/10 recommend taking a chance and doing (learning) something new. Thanks for a great time!

This is the best zip lining!! We had 1st and 2nd time zippers in our group. We are all seniors. I little nervous at first but honestly after that first sept you will be hooked!! Today was one for the books. We had the best time zip lining above the trees through the Smoky Mountains - regardless of what our faces looked like!! This company has it going on!! We had a phenomenal time at Climb Works. Incredible views while flying through the woods. Even though I am afraid of heights, this was an awesome experience. Yes, it was scary, but thrilling at the same time. I would definitely do this again.

If you have ever thought of ziplining, or even if you haven't, do it, and DO IT HERE! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary a few years ago by ziplining in CT and wanted to try one that was much longer so today we celebrated our anniversary at CLIMB Works. You need to make reservations but registering online couldn't be easier. If you arrive earlier than 40 min before your time there are games to play, rocking chairs to relax in, or videos to let you know what to expect. When called, your group gets harnassed, helmeted, and driven to the top of the mountain in a UTV. Our guides gave a quick but thorough tutorial before starting, did the same at each tower, and always asked if anyone had any questions. Alex, Avery, and Indie were awesome and extremely personable! They helped those who were nervous feel comfortable and they were soon flipping head over heels on the lines (literally) as were the rest of us. The entire experience takes about 2 hours but you are so busy admiring the views and zipping it seems much quicker. A photo package is optional but its worth it to not have to worry about dropping your cell phone, and free lockers are available for your valuables. We had such a great experience we will definitely return, and have already offered to babysit so our daughter and her husband can experience flying above the trees in the Smoky Mountains as well. NOTE: Some walking and climbing is involved (stairs and suspended bridges) so if you have mobility issues this isn't for you.

I loved Climb Works!!! GO DO IT!!! There's approximately 6 lines to zip through. The views of the mountains are incredible. They drive you through the mountain with ATVs and then you walk up a bunch of stairs/bridges to get to the deck with the lines, so be prepared to walk. We also loved the group that helped us. If possible, I'd say request for Reagan, Kaitlyn and Bram!!! They're so dope! I felt so bad because the group that was grouped with my friends and I weren't following directions and Reagan and Kaitlyn were such troopers by pulling them in after every line. I didn't hear them complain at all whatsoever. I appreciated them! Bram was really good at starting conversations, keeping the 2 hours light. He also did cool tricks that inspired my husband and I to try. I'm so determined to come back and try to go upside down and to try the one in Oahu when I'm on my way back to Guam.

The whole experience was fantastic. Our guides Addi, Matt and Emma were very knowledgeable, and overall were so much fun. This is a fun excursion to do with the family, and an incredible way to see the wonder and beauty of the smoky mountains.

10/10 experience! Visited CLIMB works about a month ago on a visit to the Smoky Mountains. Everyone who worked here was extremely kind, fun, and helpful! You can tell that they all love working here! The ziplines were so much fun and the views were amazing! I hope to come back next time I'm here!

Definitely recommend this 6 zip-line course plus a few rope bridges to all looking for unobscured mountain views. Started off with an ATV trip up to the top of the mountains. Lots of stairs to get from platform to platform. Therefore, id suggest an early start time (mine was 7:40am) toward the end the sun was blasting down making waiting slightly unpleasant. Groups were packed back to back and got backed up at some points leaving 20+ people on one platform. However, our guides Kyle, Reagan, and Seaona were great in communicating and alleviating the situation. Funny, knowledgeable, positive, encouraging. I couldn't suggest this place more! ***Pro Tip: If you've been before(or to the Hawaii location) and wear a Climbworks shirt get 10% off ! ***

Our trio was awesome. Jada, Kenny, and Sylvi treated us to an amazing treetop traverse of the Smoky's. It was really really awesome and definitely recommend the adventure to those interested in getting some wind through their hair. It was a LOT of fun and extremely safe. They take their jobs very seriously while having a blast! #alwaysclimb

This was a "luxury" zip line course where the guides do all of the work. They follow all the safety measures in clipping you on and off of each line. With the incredible staff and the safety preparations all in place, we felt so relaxed and were able to thoroughly enjoy our time flying over the trees. The views were amazing! Even from upside down!!! It's was the perfect anniversary date for my husband and I! Thank you!!!

We had an amazing experience at CLIMB Works. Staff are all very knowledgeable. A lot of them are younger individuals who are working on their college breaks. The whole experience was about 2.5 hours! They drive you up on ATVs to the first zip line and take you through the entire course. The views are great while you are up there! they staff takes pictures of everyone throughout the experience. I'd recommend getting the picture package before hand so you have access to all of them! I thought it was a nice touch that they provide water for everyone during the experience, as I'm someone who always has a water bottle attached at my hip practically. Thanks to the staff (Taylor, Pratt, Michael) for an amazing time and the recommendations on hikes, good eats, etc! If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely book again!

CLIMB Works came highly recommended by friends that have been here before, and I'm so glad that I listened to them! This 6 zip-line course in the Smoky Mountains is beautiful, well run, and is a blast for all ages. Emma, Rico, and Carter were our guides and they were excellent. They helped the younger kids (and even some of the adults) in the group overcome their anxiety and fears. By the 2nd and 3rd zip-lines, we were cruising! Loved the ATV ride up the mountain to get us to our first spot. Our drivers really know how to handle in the mud! Water is provided so you don't have to worry about bringing your own bottles. Very handy to have water available on your gear, because you'll get thirsty up there! Be sure that you get to your reservation 40 minutes prior, because this crew runs like clockwork. You'll need time to get your gear on, do safety checks, and get you to your first zip-line spot by ATV. Well worth every dollar for this amazing experience.

Our family of 6 had an excellent time on our first zip line adventure. Our guides, Hayden, Piers, and Grace were kind, funny, and helpful. We had some nervous people in our party, and they did a great job calming fears and ensuring that everyone had a good experience. By the end of the tour, our group was already planning our next trip here. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and attention to detail while still maintaining a fun and positive environment.

Our guides Denver, Bree, and Bay were amazing! We felt super safe, educated on the course (and the Smokies), and had a lot of fun. They really brought the experience together for us. I had been ziplining once before in Florida and this was a much better experience. Would recommend CLIMB Works to anyone looking to go ziplining in the area!

Our family group of 6 went zip lining while visiting Gatlinburg. We're fairly experienced zip liners and Climb Works was one of our best experiences ever. Amber, Jada and Caleb took great care of us and were very engaging and fun. The zips were great and the safety was top-notch. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing for a getaway! It was so fun and the tour guides are amazing! We had Jo, Colby, Rayah, and Emily! They were funny, talkative, and so friendly! Couldn't ask for better!!!

Our Zipline guides, Denver, Luke and Macy were absolutely fantastic. We had such a good time zipping through the rain! At the end, they let you do tricks (hanging upside down, posing, jumping off the platform). We went on St Pattys Day and they had little pots of gold hidden throughout the trails and if you found one you got a free T-shirt! I can't wait to come back here!!! The vibes were great, the guides were funny and the property is beautiful!

Everything was awesome. We're a family of 5 with youngest being 10. Online booking was super easy and we filled out all our waivers ahead of time which made the process super simple upon arrival. Some drinks and ice pops were available to purchase along with their merch - hats & shirts. Easy to locate (website tells correct GPS address - Rd not Ln I think). We had 11 persons in our zip tour with 3 guides. 1 sender and 2 receivers. They gather your zip group for the harnessing about 20 minutes before your zip reservation and then drive you up tithe mountain in UTVs. We were all treated the best! JON (the sender) even had some tricks to help my little guy Tanner make it to the end. And thankfully SYLVI and CHARIS were there to catch us and bring us in. They were the best guides! Diligent with safety, good communication and great personalities! Definitely recommend! We've done zip tours before and this is our new favorite in the Gatlinburg area for sure!

First time zip lining for my wife today. She is 62. This group was the most professional and attentive of any that I've ever experienced myself. Today me and some friends went on the Zip lining tour led by Tristan, Kayrs, Alex, and Ashley and BOY was it a good time!!! If we weren't zipping we were laughing! They were all filled with fun anecdotes, puns, and classic jokes! Couldn't of had better guides!!!!! The actual zip lining was also spectacular! Gorgeous views and exciting atmosphere! This was a great experience! The guides were funny and made sure everyone was laughing and comfortable the whole time. The views were spectacular! A little chills today but they offer free gloves and hand warmers!

Staff was super friendly and welcoming! I never felt uncomfortable or not trusting of the employee there to catch me when I came flying back. Ziplining was never on my bucket list but I'm so glad I went! The view was amazing but I was really focusing on just making it to the end of the track LOL. I would say the scariest part was walking across the bridges. But I never felt scared of falling because of bad equipment. Super good times were had with this crew!

Climb works zipline was an absolute blast. Highly recommend making this a part of any Smoky Mountain itinerary even if you are afraid of heights. We bought the tickets online and there were plenty of reminders the day prior to the experience. The zip lining experience kicks off with a ride in an ATV up to the first zip line post. This is followed by six zip lines which lead you back down to the base. The tour guides were phenomenal, special shout out to them. Extremely personable and friendly and personable and made the entire experience go extremely smooth.

Luke, Fin & Aubrey were our leaders. They were awesome -- jovial, accommodating, encouraging, informative with everyone in our group (from age about 8 to about 60). The facilities/equipment/etc were fabulous. The ATV ride you're given to the top of the ridge (where your first zip will be) makes the whole thing even more fun. The rope bridges between some of the zips added to the experience as well.

Listen here, if you have to think about it twice, then you are thinking about it too long. This is the place to go zip lining, no doubt about it. From the beginning to the end, they will take care of you. Funny, caring and responsible guides will make this adventure worthwhile. If you are lucky enough to get Kailey, Emma and John, trust me, you will have a fantastic time. Glad we chose Climb Works out of all the options we had. Definitely worth our time, money and more.

If you're ever in Gatlinburg and love new adventures, CLIMB works is the place... for real!!! *DANNY, KEVIN, and COREY are amazing! Massive plug to them.* My husband and I are in town from Baltimore, MD with several other friends from the west coast, San Francisco and Portland on our bi-annual friends-cation. We submitted our reservations the night before which worked out beautifully. If you ever have the opportunity to zipline at sunset, oh. my. gosh. it's amazing. We went as a trio and are so happy we did. When we arrived, we checked in with the front desk at least 40 minutes prior to out reservation time, got weighed in, and relaxed prior to our departure time. When called, we were the last group of the day which looked like all the guides were pleased about. The guides were awesome! They walked us into another room where we got our harnesses and helmets put on. Super clean facility too! Following getting prepped, lots of photos, they take you up the mountain side in a couple Polaris 6 seaters. I won't talk about the middle or end experiences as I want you to experience it for yourself. You absolutely need to visit. It's super chill, incredibly welcoming, and an incredible experience overall. When we're back or are in Hawaii, we will absolutely, without a doubt, be enjoying some massive ziplining! First time doing muddy trails in a UTV, walking rope bridges and ziplining! We had a great time even in the light rain and Raegan, Alex and Grace were amazing and professional guides that kept us laughing the whole time with their silly selves!

Great place to go zipling! The whole experience from beginning to end was fun and exciting! The staff are awesome! Kenny, Ragen, and Sylvester did an awesome job and made the experience fun! The rope bridges add to experience. Highly recommend!

Good times! Between the incredible views, the layout of the zip lines, and the bridges, this was a great course. The employees are professional and our guides, Kayla, Kaleb, and Luke were fantastic! This was the highlight of my trip to the mountains! I loved everything about this! It was breathtakingly beautiful to see all the fall leaves while zip lining. The staff was amazing and funny! We had the best time! Everyone should try it! It's so worth it!

I've been on a few zip lines, and this group outshines all the other in my opinion. They've taken me out twice since 2013 on two different runs. Today's trip was a six line set of runs. They have some very long runs and some passionate and knowledgeable staff. I'd recommend them anytime, even for folks who have a little great of heights and adventure.

Our trip started off with the awesome Ethan (upper management we found out later) accommodating us with helmets that would fit my GoPro, then we got to ride up the hill with Kate where she passed us off to our AMAZING zip line tour guides Bails (Bailey), Raegan, and Kenny...who guided us for over 2 hours of the most beautiful zip lining terrain in the Great Smokey Mountains. They were polite, patient (with our Natalie) and very knowledgeable about the area and history! We would give this more than 5 stars if we could!!

My fiancé and I traveled from Chicago to Tennessee for a long weekend trip and last minute decided to come here! It was very quick to book online for a time slot! Our guides, Lainey, Matt & Pratt were fun, outgoing and knew what they were doing. They took all safety measurements and made it fun for everyone. THE VIEWS were incredible!! Every platform we went on were amazing 360 views. I would highly recommend adding this to your trip when visiting! You won't regret it!

My 1st time ziplining, so I have nothing to compare it to, and yes, my last time. I am 55 and it was not easy walking up all the steps. We were driven by polaris vehicles. Smooth ride up the mountain. From there, we climbed 63 steps up to the top to zipline. There was 12 in our party. 2 go at a time side by side. You stay in the gate until your time where they hook you to a lune then you go throught the gate to get on what I call the platform. Then you step up, my knees shaking. Quickly went from excited to fear, lol. Then the hook you to the line, you eventually are asked to step down and wait for acknowledgement that you can go. That was terrifying to get on block, then to step down. Zipling was GREAT! after a few times of ziplining I was getting more comfortable, but after 1 wanting to leave, no turning back. No stairs to take you down. So once you commit to one time you have to keep going. There were 6 lines, 1 of them being about a 1/4 mile long. Spectacular views. If I was healthy enough to do all the stair climbing and rope bridges. I MIGHT do it again. But glad I did it once. Great workers. I dod not realize they accept tips or I could have been more prepared to do so. They take photos during, so you can buy at the end also. Great time!

Amazing experience! First time zip liner and hooked, can't wait to do it again! Set your nerves aside, the employee's will help you every step of the way, making you feel comfortable and safe from start to finish. Gear and safety cues and directions are provided during the whole time. The stair climb is the most challenging part, other than that you feel free zipping tree to tree and laugh with excitement and thrill. It's also a great way to take in the scenery from above, don't forget to look down :D

Great experience! 6 zip line tour with phenomenal guides, Sunshine, Beth and Matt. They especially took care of our littlest member who rode with a guide and sibling. A great experience amongst the tree tops with gorgeous views of the Smokey Mountains! Highly recommended.

If you're going to go ziplining in the area, please do Climbworks!! Rainn, the girl from NZ (sorry can't remember name) and red-haired guy (also sorry, can't remember name) were all FANTASTIC guides! My mom is 62 and was pretty nervous about ziplining, but the guides explained everything so well and were so kind to her. We had a blast and the views were AMAZING!! 10 stars!!

If you're ever in Gatlinburg, I highly recommend this company for a zipline tour! My friend and I booked the 2 hr mountaintop zipline tour for $99/ea which includes a fun and short ATV ride up to the top (water included). There are 5 dual ziplines so that you can zipline alongside your friend, provided that one doesn't hesitate as the other one goes. I enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to brake ourselves (tour guides took care of that) as it allowed for more time to focus on the gorgeous 360° views! One of the highlights of my experience was being able to zipline upside down, which is much easier and not as scary as it sounds. I definitely recommend going for it if you do this tour. At the end, you get to rappel off the platform and then take an ATV ride back down. Overall, it was a great experience for my first time ziplining and definitely worth every penny! Special shoutout to our guides, Corey, Jacob, and Gabe, who did an AWESOME job of going through instructions while making it incredibly fun. I've never laughed so much during a tour! It takes a lot of skill to ensure that everyone feels safe and secure while making it all fun at the same time. Great group of guys!

I don't leave reviews very often but we really loved this place! It definitely the most professional and safe zip lining experience I've had. We had Joe , Corey and Silvia and they were so fun and very friendly!
