I had a great experience at Clinton Bar & Grille. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent — a special thanks to Jamie - attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. The ambience is spot on: relaxed yet vibrant, making it perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. The crowd was beautiful and added to the overall energy of the place. The food was very decent overall, with highlights that really stood out. The fresh prawns were incredibly flavorful, and the grilled scallops were cooked to perfection — fresh, tender, and absolutely delicious. Great service, nice ambience, good food, and a great vibe all around. Definitely a place I’d return to and recommend.

Was delighted to end up here with a friend. Service was good, food was good. The wedge salad was fresh. I enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, and my dining companion had a seafood linguine, which was also well received. Recommend if you are in the area, looking for good food. Not a quick stop.

Update 12/21/25 Another incredible dining experience! Adam provided excellent service & the food didn't disappoint. The Prime Ribeye was better than ever. Charred out the outside, the medium request was honored & came juicy & tender. My oldest daughter tried the chicken parm for the 1st time, WOW! Name a restaurant that does a perfect 10 on steaks, along with Italian! This is the best restaurant around! Top notch taste, with great value for your money. Friendly service, delicious drinks. You won't regret this, I never do. Update 8/2/25 Another excellent Experience at our favorite restaurant! The Prime Ribeye was as thick as my muscles on chest day! Incredible flavor and better than any other steak! My daughter had the burger which was juicy & Delicious. Charlton broiled on the outside and unbelievably moist on the interior. Our server Melissa was the perfect host. We almost thought we were in her home! BEST FOOD. BEST SERVICE. Update 5/25/24 Still the absolute best meal in Mass in regards to service, taste, & value! Starting off with such a simple item Potato Chips.. my daughter loved the shrimp. programmed to taste the Lays way of overly processed with seed oils, then taste the greatest Chips on Earth here! Delicious!! I'm Jersey born & bred so in regard to pizza listen to what I've said.. Clinton Bar & Grille has the best pie in Mass barstool can agree or kiss my....! I have traveled across continents and enjoyed the finest selection of Meat.. the absolute best will always be here at Clinton Bar & Grill! I have tasted the Prime Strip & Prime Ribeye and even steakhouses in boston & nyc for triple the price can't beat the taste! BEST STEAK EVER. a hill I'll die on! Excellent service every visit, special shout to Randy whom my 6 month old has a crush on! Thank you for making my families experience perfect. We will be back! Update 3/2/25 tried the Japanese A5 Wagyu from the current specials menu.. absolutely Incredible! Cooked to perfection. The ceasar salad was on par with more expensive restaurants. Buffalo Chicken dip was finger licking good! Update 10/27/24: year later.. still high quality food with friendly and Professional Service.. top notch restaurant! WOW! This has been one of my finest dining experiences ever! Stephanie L. provided perfect service and the food continued the perfection theme! The homemade bread when you first sit down was soft, warm, and delicious with a plate of cheese & seasonings & oil. My wife won the appetizer choice against my better judgment, she went with the spinach & artichoke dip. The dip was creamy & Cheese! Even the chips were homemade & incredibly tasty! For the main event, I got the Prime Ribeye Steak over Gorgonzola Mac & Cheese. I have eaten at every steak house from Tokyo to NYC. This was the BEST! Less $ than Ruth's Chris & more flavor! WIN! My little one got the regular Mac & Cheese which was creamy & delightful! The dessert was caramel ice cream over shallah bread..just get it trust me! Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Truly excellent restaurant. If Gordon Ramsey came here, he could just eat instead of critique!

Service was great, our server (male) was amazing and took care of everything we needed. However food was sub par, chicken parm was definitely frozen chicken and premade, my ravioli was good but I’ve had better and. For about $10 cheaper, overpriced and I feel like it was not a Good deal for what we got. We ordered 2 shots Of Tito’s, definitely got a house vodka, my husband and I drink Tito’s regularly ( not proud of that but what are we gonna do) and I was also annoyed with that. We didn’t complain in the restaurant because I am a bartender too and I get it. This review isn’t about service, strictly for the quality of the food for the price they are asking for.

Went here as a party of six. Cocktails were had and did not order an appetizer, due to the bread with oil and cheese, which was awesome. There were two chicken parm, lobster ravioli, two pork chops and a salmon ordered. The pork chops are MASSIVE and great! The chicken parm was excellent (they were out of lasagna 😞), the salmon received high marks, as well as the lobster ravioli. The only dessert ordered was creme brulee, and it was excellent as well. The place is very nice and well appointed. It wasn't full, but it may be a little loud if it were. Would definitely repeat.

Excellent dining experience! Went for a family member’s birthday dinner. I have quite a few food allergies and they were able to accommodate me easily, AND the food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Sat at the bar for a delicious meal to celebrate our anniversary. The oysters were sweet and briny and the bisque was full of chunks of succulent lobster in a buttery and creamy base. My haddock was flaky with a crunchy coating over a creamy risotto that still had a bite to it. My husband's filet was cooked perfectly and the wine reduction was absolutely delightful! Service was wonderful and attentive.

When we first walked in it smelled amazing, like delicious food. Nothing worse than walking into a restaurant and it doesn't smell like food but smells like cleaning products! Today was two of our 1st time going, 3 of us had the potato chip crusted haddock with asparagus risotto, one had Chicken parm dinner. All were delish. Would definitely go again and I highly recommend!

Always an excellent meal at Clinton bar and grill. I had the potato chip encrusted haddock on an amazing asparagus risotto. My husband had the chicken Marsala which was also excellent. We have also tried the butternut squash ravioli, the flatbread pizzas, the spinach dip and the chocolate soufflé to die for.

The place is beautiful and spacious, no hostess/host when walked in (was one) but went to the bar where, I know she was busy but no smile, took a bit for a greeting. Lobster ravioli was a hit and my old fashion was ..ok, not a fan of lots of ice chunks for this drink! Older crowd but found parking!

After trying to reach the restaurant numerous times, this was my only option, hopefully they respond to me here. Went in this past Saturday night, January 10th, had reservation, we are local so we know it gets very busy. Wife and I both shared the mussels and each had an entree. At 11:30 that night I became VIOLENTLY ill, couldn't move, wife was ill in the other bathroom. Both sweating profusely with nausea and other fun bodily functions. Have made numerous attempts to contact CBG and have received no response. Have never been this sick in my life and has taken me two days to recover. Would have thought the restaurant would have liked to know and maybe discard any mussels. Beware!

Absolutely worth the trip. We were there for a late lunch and enjoyed perhaps the best pastrami sandwich and hand cut fries I have ever had. My table mates also enjoyed the truffle fries with the burger and the potato chip encrusted haddock. Good food, exceptional service and a terrific ambiance makes this a must stop when anywhere near Clinton.

Careful. Found a piece of glass in my mashed potato's! I have been getting takeout here for a year. Best steak tip ever. Never have an issue until tonight. Was eating and noticed a crunch thought something broke my tooth. Nope it was glass. Someone could have really hurt themselves. Steak tip is the best 10 Service is good 10 Owner never gets back to emails or messages sent to business I always praise this place but I'm so lucky I didn't break a tooth or swallow this. Ambience is loud but I get take out

Our dinner was excellent. We were a party of 4 and each had a different entree , pasta, seafood and steak tips all well prepared. Our server was attentive, personable with a fun sense of humor. The restaurant was tastefully decorated in Holiday Decor. It was a wonderful experience,we highly recommend!

The food was spectacular, and the service amazing. Our server Jamie was so conscientious, funny, and beautifully on top of every need we had. As an autistic person the sensory review of that the lighting was perfect, the lack of flashing screens or busy colors and sights relaxing. The only thing was even with my loops on it was as loud as you might expect from a bar and grill (no music thankfully) so c come prepared with your sensory needs protected. I would come back I lived in mass. I recommend the oysters, chicken Marsala, and seafood linguine.

Great local option for food. CBG has food for everyone, from pizza to filet. Price point is moderately high but the food is delicious. We started with the bread and then straight to our meal. I had the marinated steak tips with fries and pear slaw. Everything was delicious and the flavors complimented the meal. Hubs had a sirloin and subbed out the side for fries. Drinks were good and large. Photo of my meal. The only negative about CBG is that it is very noisy.

Clintons is the perfect spot for lunch, and dinner. Located on the cutest little Main Street, that gives such an old school vibe. My family and I were lucky enough to be sat with Stephanie. She was so friendly and really gave a great experience. A yummy selection of summer friendly drinks was presented, as well as an extensive wine list. You really can't go wrong w anything on the menu, as my grandmother raves about all items as she frequents - however the fish and chips was probably one of the bests I've had. Everyone was happy w their choices. A MUST get item is the white chocolate bread pudding... just wow. The only down side is there isn't a changing table for the young ones. My family and I will be back soon!

Amazing!!!! Took us on Tue 4/8 no reservation, ate at the bar. Joe was a pleasure, sat us right away. Had spectacular butternut squash ravioli app, I had the steak tip cooked to perfection and friend had shrimp, pasta dish. She couldn't stop raving about it. Had the bread pudding dessert, it was TO DIE FOR! Eric our waiter/bartender really took care of us. Don't delay, get there ASAP. Can't wait to go back!!

Very impressed with this place!!! Very cute restaurant with a modern vibe. The service great and our waiter was very attentive even though it was extremely busy. we got the buffalo chicken dip to start and it was creative and delicious. Excellent steak & their burger was to die for. The chicken parm was good but I wish the chicken was thinner and it was a little cold when it was served to me. They also "didn't have the drink menu available" which was odd. overall we had a good experience and I'm excited to come back.

My husband and I went to Clinton's for the first time recently to celebrate my birthday. We were so impressed with the service, food and atmosphere. Everything was five star. Loved sitting at a high top, the restaurant is casual but upscale. Our waitress couldn't have been any better. She was very quick, easy to chat with and made our night even more fun. Don't recall her name but excellent job. I splurged on a filet and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Amazing. Drinks were great - awesome espresso martinis. We are so glad to have a new place we loved to come back to. Looking forward to trying other menu options.

We had great food -started with the amazing buffalo chicken dip , then I got the bourbon bavette steak and hubby got a salad with chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly! The best part was our amazing server, Stephanie tonight. Thank you!!

We just moved to the area and this is the one place in Clinton that you could bring visitors to, to like... try to impress them and convince them that Clinton is a cool place. Food was awesome, service was on point.. our waiter ended up being one of our neighbors lol It's seems dressy and boujee up front but honestly people were wearing everything ranging from suits to fucking Celtics jerseys lol #banner18

The location is modern but charming at the same time. I must say I enjoyed the hostess personality when I arrived she was a firecracker. My reservation was for 4 but another child arrived late so I asked our server if we can move & instead he just handed me another serving. The seating is a bit odd but worked for us squeezing 5 of us in booth. Our waiter was okay not fabulous- cannot recall if he even gave us his name. Honestly it was a late dinner but he did not even try or informed us kitchen closes at 9pm if we wanted dessert. Which we did... so a bit disappointed since the bigger the bill the larger the tip- don't you think? We seemed to have bothered "his time" is the impression I got. My children had been there before but not I as I moved to CO 9 years ago and when I left it was an Italian restaurant. My salad was extraordinary good, and the cereal encrusted haddock was good but not to die for. Kids got chicken parm and steak which they enjoyed. Overall if we had more attentive server the rating would've been higher but frankly Customer service makes or breaks a restaurant to last. I may try again when back in town.

The waiters and waitresses are professional. They Time the food perfectly. Ambiance is industrial looking , (also outside seating. ) However , the food is absolutely amazing. Beet , feta cheese and pear appetizer is wonderful. Extensive wine menu. Delicious soups. The fish is cooked perfectly. I liked the Haddock over the rosetto. Also, tried the fresh caught salmon which was perfect, I would prefer the rice to fish served over peas. Coffee is excellent. Bread is homemade served with a dipping sauce. I Never had room for dessert but there are amazing choice's. Expensive but worth every penny!

I have not reviewed since 2023. Clinton Bar & Grill is ALWAYS GREAT! It is amazing to me that we have been here probably 15 times and it is always great! Keep it up you guys!

We had such a wonderful lunch this afternoon at Clintons Bar & Grille. The food was delicious and our waitress Alicia was a wonder of customer service. It was all just perfect.

Food is delicious, service and atmosphere great. The negative is that twice we went to have swordfish as it was advertised as being a special and they didn't have it. They didn't run out, they didn't have it.

Food was superb and service was as good. I recommend this spot for an upscale dining experience. Great for a "date night". Teasonable prices. Nice atmosphere.

Nice experience, friendly and welcoming staff. Our waitperson Stephanie was very pleasant and attentive. The beet salad was outstanding. Chicken Parmesan delicious! Atmosphere was pleasant, we didn't find it noisy as I read in other posts. Our first time, but not our last!

1st time here and it was amazing. From the bar service, food presentation and the flavors, simply awesome. Great atmosphere with all staff and the open kitchen worked. Seafood alfredo and beet salad packed with flavors.

We called earlier that day to see if we could make a reservation. I was told they're not taking reservations at this point in time due to the busy nature of things. I asked if there be tables around 6 PM which they said we will try and fit you in if there's some open tables. I get there and I'm told they're all booked up. I thought you weren't taking reservations I told her. she said they weren't taking reservations, but yet they were booked out till 745? even though I see about eight tables open that would've been perfect for me and my family. Very disappointed and definitely do not recommend as I feel. I made a long drive for nothing. I normally do not do negative reviews as you can see from my profile, but this one I thought was unacceptable

Fantastic surprise!! After a day of apple picking, we looked for a place to eat a late lunch, relax outside and that would allow our puppy. Clinton's said "come on down". Our expectations were of a local hangout with simple bar food and drinks. On arrival, the exterior was new and well maintained (modern). First impression was good. Waitress approached us and was friendly and accommodating, (loved puppies too!). Menu had a great variety of foods, some basic and some innovative. Sandwiches, plates, pizzas and much more. The bread is restaurant made. Appetizers were great, for a group of 4 we got three. The entrees were equally good! Flatbread pizza with figs, arugula and goat cheese was a hit with the wives. The gents had a black pastrami on pretzel roll and braised short rib sandwich. All great stuff! Beer and wine menu was equally extensive and full bar was available as well. Service was great! Although short staffed, they work hard. Will be back!!

This was our second time here and we had a much better experience than our first. We enjoyed all of our food, and my special of the day came with gorgonzola mac and cheese which was the real stunner of all the food. It seriously needs to have a permanent spot on the menu! Drinks- hit or miss. My boyfriend really liked his Fig Martini but I did not enjoy my Blood Orange Aperol Spritz. Appetizer- Half dozen oysters and goat cheese salad. I did not like that my oysters came on a bed of kelp. It was just visually not appealing and it also did not come with a side of mignonette which is standard for raw oysters. The Goat Cheese salad had a ton of flavor and was delicious! Dinner- I had the Veal Ribeye with gorgonzola mac and my boyfriend had the 12oz New York Strip with Polenta. He enjoyed his steak but said the polenta did not really go well with it. Bread pudding- To die for! So good. Service: We had Stephanie G. and she was kind and attentive. All in all I am glad we gave Clinton Bar and Grille another chance and I am sure we will be back.

This place is in a cute historical downtown area with lots of cute little shops and old theater across the street. We had no issues with parking even though it was the typical downtown parking situation. The host was attentive, quick, and helpful. We had to wait a bit for our table but sat at the bar from some drinks while waiting. Soon the host would come retrieve us for our seats. The restaurant is quaint but very clean and open. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. For our meal we started with oysters on the half shell which were one of the best I've had to date. They're totally worth the money spent. It was about $4 each. It comes with cocktail sauce and horseradish. Ask for some Tabasco! They're have mini ones lol. Next for our meals we both had the prime rib. It came with mash and we ordered sides of Brussel sprouts and mushrooms. All were wondeful and the steak also comes with a demi Glace. For the end of our meal we had espresso, cappuccino, and creme Brulee. It was the best cappuccino I've had! I'd definitely go back to try other things on the menu and wander the area there. I'm sure warmer months this place gets really busy.

The food and service is great. Highly recommend it to everyone. Pizza and salad is really good.

Two of us arrived at 6:30 pm on a a Friday knowing we might not get a table immediately. We gave a phone number and name and were told we'd get a text when a table would be ready, "probably by 7:30pm". At 8:20 we still had not receive a text or call. Maybe the food is good but this restaurant does not have the customer service to match the prices on its menu---suggest you look elsewhere.

I wasn't planning on doing a review so I didn't take any pictures but because our server Melissa was the best I had to write something. We were there on a Saturday (6/27) and had made a reservation because the place fills up fast. We were brought some fresh from the oven homemade bread along with oil and grated Parmesan that was very good. My ravishing wife had the lobster ravioli which was served in a sauce that was actually their lobster bisque. She loved it. I had the meat lasagna which was a hearty portion and that was very good as well. I ended up having to take about 1/4 of it home. I also had a "Hello Clinton" golden ale from the Sterling Street Brewery down the street. The food was very good but what made this outing a 5 was our server Melissa. She was very personable, attentive, and genuinely friendly and caring. She came to our table each time with a smile, kind words, and some lively conversation. The prices are a bit higher than I expected for a "bar and grill", but with delicious options and with wait staff like Melissa it was worth the experience!

This place is a gem. Been there many times and always leave completely satisfied. The food is amazing and the service is very professional and friendly.

Came here with the wife to celebrate our anniversary. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will do it again. The restaurant is clean, the service was prompt, and the food was great! My only gripes were my ribeye stated : horseradish mashed, 16 oz ribeye with red wine reduction. Well, as you can see in the pic, that is a 12oz with no red wine reduction. The horseradish mashed were weak. It tasted like they used horseradish cream mixed with heavy cream to make them. My second gripe is the seating is kind of crammed. First off, I'm 6'1". The center of a room is awkward. Secondly, a bottle of wine, appetizer, and salad do not fit on a 30"x30" table. Beyond those minor oversights, my wife's 16 oz ny strip looked spot on. Both w were cooked perfectly, as were the seared scallops. We got two pizzas to go, which were both phenomenal.

Space was lively and had a good atmosphere. Waitress was exceptional, friendly, prompt and attentive. Had the steak tips which had great flavor and were tender, pear coleslaw was a unique touch and quite good. Another member of the party had ravioli which was good but a bit oily. Overall a great evening out Would recommend and plan on returning.

Great drinks, food and service. The ambiance was very nice. I'm rarely in the Clinton area but I will return here after my first experience. The place seemed to be very well managed. We had a party of 7 and everyone was very happy with their dish. We were seated at a table but the bar also looked very appealing g. If I lived closer I would definitely pop in for a cocktail and a bowl of lobster bisque sporadically.

Terrible experience Terrible service - Stephanie Will never give a dime to this place ever again. TOTALLY OVERPRICED- you are in Clinton MA! Our reservation was at 5:15. ordered appetizers and the meal came out at 5:40. Throughout dinner we felt very rushed as the waitress kept asking if we were done. I can only assume that she was in a rush to get rid of us because none of us were drinking.). At 6:30, we got coffee and the bill. Apparently, we weren't drinking fast evough or paying fast enough. The manager came over to our table and asked us to pay and leave because he needed our table. There were 4 open tables around us with 2 couples waiting to be seated. I have eaten out a lot and have never been asked to leave a restaurant. I was absolutely embarrassed and will never be back.

I do not typically write reviews, but felt this restaurant most deserving...I took my husband for lunch on his birthday in November 2024. We had never been to Clintons Bar & Grille before. Our waitress, Terry, was very attentive and exceeded all expectations. The food was excellent, 5+ stars, from start to finish. The steak tip entree was seasoned/cooked to perfection and the shrimp/pasta dish was so delicious. Terry even brought out a complimentary lava cake for dessert and sang happy birthday to my husband... this was not requested and very much appreciated! We would love to visit again.

I love the food here! My go-to order is the pizzas. Their pizzas are so good and are different than anything else you'll find in town. Best way to describe it is gourmet pizza, they have fresh ingredients and more upscale flavors. The service is awesome, I've gotten takeout and dine-in, both offer efficient and timely service. And inside the restaurant is a beautiful ambiance, it's modern American. It's clean and friendly.

A very nice experience was had by my sister and me. Our server Melissa was spectacular, she knew her stuff and didn't assume anything and was so warm and welcoming. We were only there for lunch, but we managed to enjoy a hearty and excellent meal of fresh out of the oven bread with pieces of caramelized onion on it. Then we had probably the best prepared calamari I've had in a long time. We rounded out meal with an excellent lobster bisque, that had several huge chunks of lobster in it. If you're in the area of Clinton, MA don't hesitate to go there.

For Clinton, MA? 5 stars hands down. Bernadette was an amazing waitress and walked me thru the menu. The food was presented lovely and it took a little longer to be served, a sign that the food was being prepared, just not nuked and plated. Food was delicious. The only negative, and it's a small one--the music was just a little loud; otherwise, Clinton, MA? 5 stars, absolutely.

I have been here about 10 times in the past 3 months and I've never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly, experienced and attentive. The specials have been great and the food has always been fresh. I've had fried clams, fish and chips, a seafood pasta dish that was outstanding, burgers and grilled chicken salads. Very important to note on the grilled chicken salad the chicken was hot off the grill, cooked perfectly, and not dry at all. The restaurant is clean and nice. The prices are reasonable and they have good beers on tap. They also had Blantons at the bar which made me appreciate them even more because it's a tough to find whisky. Treat yourself to a whisky if the occasion is right. It is a good spot for a family meal, a solo drink and appetizer, or a lunch meeting for work. I also think they have a space upstairs for a private event. I plan to be a frequent visitor to Clinton Bar and Grill, AKA, CB&G.

Seated quickly with a friendly smile. Nice atmosphere. Bread and Parmesan olive awesome! Clam chowder Rick, think and flavorful. Lots of clams; just yummy! Excellent!

Excellent food. We started with bread, cheese/oil. Four of us split Greek salad and it was plenty. We all loved our meals, delicious and good serving sizes. Melissa was an outstanding waitress.

Pros are the food is consistently good but would love to see some new items on the menu. Cons it's way too loud when busy and bartenders aren't very attentive.

Great, imaginative menu. One critique on the beef short rib sandwich, the bread doesn't hold up. Had to eat it with a fork. Need a baguette style bread.

We love the food and eat there about twice a month since this restaurant opened.We brought my brother and sister in law, had a wonderful meal and dessert. Our reservation was for 5:45 and after dessert at 7:30 we were talking for a few minutes, then the host came over and asked us to leave. I was shocked and embarrassed. We were just about to wrap it up and leave. I'm disappointed.
