Clos 1906 Luxury Accommodation & Antiques Gallery

We stayed three nights at Clos 1906 with - and it feels like with - Eduard and David. The property is elegant and comfortable, and the rooms are full if smart antiques. It is a short, 15-minute walk up to St Emilion, safe and off-road all the way. Naturally there are excellent eateries in the town - our favourites being Le Jardin and Chai Pascal - both excellent, although different grades of cuisine. Breakfast at Clos 1996 is superb; you will not need lunch. One afternoon, tired by the heat, we simply set up camp by the pool: lovely. Very highly recommended.

We stayed just 2 nights in this beautiful French house, restored and beautifully presented. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was lovely. Breakfast was delightful. We hired e bikes from Lovelec 33 on their recommendation. These were delivered and picked up again from Le Clos 1906. So convenient. This is a beautiful property well located for exploring the town and region and we will hopefully return.

We stayed in the apartment which is tranquil and lovely. It's beautifully decorated with 2 large, comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, huge bathroom, lounge and washing machine and all mod cons. Eduard sourced amazing pastries and bread from the local bakery. The pool overlooks the vineyards and was great for a refreshing dip. It was one of the nicest places we stayed on our French trip.

Great place. Very calm and relaxing. Well appointed rooms. Lovely garden and pool. |Edouard, the joint owner, was so helpful.|20 minute uphill walk to St Emilion... downhill on way back so the right way around.|Would recommend and stay again.

Our stay with Eduard and David at Clos 1906 was superb in every way possible. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and luxuriously designed and the whole place is beautiful and peaceful with everything you could possibly need and more. The design is impeccable and thoughtful. |It is an easy walk to the town of Saint Emilion, and situated within the beautiful and unbelievably picturesque surrounding landscape. We were originally booked for 3 days but extended it to 7 days because we loved the experience and surroundings so much. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely be back!|Their hospitality was amazing and they were both incredibly helpful with suggestions for where to visit and where to dine. All our needs were catered for easily and nothing was a problem.|David has curated the most exquisite collection of luxury bags, jewellery and clothing pieces in their adjacent boutique, which all adds to the most memorable and perfect experience we have had on our trip.|We highly recommend this luxury stay at Clos 1906 to anyone wishing to experience Saint Emilion and all the beauty it has to offer.

What a lovely place. Minutes from downtown saint Emilion away from the crowds. Your hosts Eduard and David own the B and B. They opened in 2020. They are always on the premises making sure everything is perfect. Our room was beautiful and sparkling. Breakfast in the courtyard was gorgeous. Served by the proprietor and his staff. We highly recommend this inn

What a fantastic stay. The property is beautiful, clean and well-appointed. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked vineyards - it was very comfortable. Breakfast was the ideal start for the day. Edouard was an excellent host from start to finish - his tips, wisdom and flexibility are unparalleled. The location is off the main road and half way between the train station and St Emilion - a ten minute (pleasant) walk each way. We shall definitely be back!

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday in St. Emillion with the vineyard around the property. Eduard was very attentive and the house was beautifully decorated. Excellent french-styled breakfast. Highly recommend!!
