We spent 4 nights and 3 full wonderfully relaxing days at Marjoly. The resort exudes a rustic charm and is fantastic value for money. It needs a little TLC here and there but we found this added to its character. It was remote which was great. Perfect for being forced to do absolutely nothing for a few days which is exactly what we wanted. There are lots of areas to sit and we found ourselves each morning after breakfast with a book on the sofas by the beach with a coffee. Pure bliss. There are kayaks which we took out and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Our room was right in the beach and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. The food was delicious but the best part of New Marjoly were the people who worked there. They picked us up and dropped us back to the ferry terminal over an hour away for a little extra. They were kind, attentive, friendly and professional. We couldn’t have asked for more. If you would like somewhere to completely wind down for a few days that is priced accordingly has a rustic charm and wonderful staff then this is the place.

Book for 2 nights but left after first night. Cannot sleep well at nigh. Ants crawing every where in the room. Lizard shit every where and not properly clean. Aircon not working at night.

It is a good place, reasonable price, and beautiful beach right in front of your door step. The only downside is on the cleanliness of the room. When we first enter the cottage, the bathroom was dirty. It seemed that it has not been used for quite sometimes. Our aircond was also working properly. It is cold, but can't be switched off. Apart for this, this place is reasonably good to spend your weekend.

Nice basic beach style accommodation in Bintan. Staff friendly, food was local style and simple but tasty. Very reasonable price for food drink and accommodation. Simple unfussy place with a nice atmosphere. Note its location is quite remote from the main resort area of Lagoi. Perfect place for a simple beach weekend...

Nice, quiet and comfortable beach resort. We liked our 4 days stay here. My family rated this the best resort we've ever stayed in bintan. Friendly staff. Clean room. Cozy environment. Our beach front villa is just meters away from the sea, and thus we enjoyed lying on the beach bench relaxing while listening the sea singing gently. Some suggestions for perfect experience: 1, water pressure for shower could be stronger and stable 2, better pest control

We were staying in a beachfront hut for two nights, which had a nice view of the ocean. However, there were quite a lot of small ants inside the room, and the bathroom didn’t feel so clean. Also, there weren’t a door to the bathroom which was quite odd. Expect some lizards in the room as well, since there are gaps around the door. |The staff was very friendly, even though some weren’t good at English they still tried their best or went for another staff member. Because of the friendly staff I give this resort a 3, but I don’t think I would come back here.|The place could have been better if they maybe served some drinks, and had more and newer sun beds. |Overall, the place has good potential, it just needs some fixing up and cleaning.

Best place for honeymoon, I had a lovely 5-days staying experience at this marjoly resort with my wife. I took Sea Front Cottage after Upgrading it from Standard Sea View King Bed. Don't worry if your travelling page doesn't show price for the Sea Front, just call the Office like I did and they will help you upgrading it with a very low cost. Hospitality and food was really good, I hope they will add more dish to the menu as I only got a few options there. Specially I want to mention Housekeeper “Apri” as He was really helpful and connected with us throughout our stay. Service was really good they took all the responsibility of us from the time we came till we checked out. Each and every staff was really helpful. Loved staying here. Thank you Marjoly.

Reasonably prices place with surprisingly decent room and working AC. Very helpful staff and nice friendly atmosphere! Beach is sadly no go, but if you stay here and you have car you have it 15min drive to nice beaches. A bit shocking prices of additional activities - like 3hrs snorkeling in white sand island for 55SGD a person... seems targeting Singaporeans I don't know but this trip for example can get for 20SGD pax at different place.
