We had a terrific experience with Jensen-Lewis. They went above and beyond at every step of our purchase. First, we called to inquire about pricing on a couch in various configurations, and their salesperson patiently gave us detailed information on every possible selection option. He then referred us to an in store salesperson to assist us in completing the purchase the next day. The in store person was equally helpful, taking the time to answer all of our questions. A few weeks after ordering, we received news that some unexpected visitors would be staying with us, so we contacted the store to ask if it would be at all possible to receive delivery earlier than promised. They said they would do their best. Sure enough, the couch arrived just in time for our guests. Upon delivery, the couch could not actually make it into the intended room. Disaster could have ensued, but a quick call to Mike at Jensen Lewis and an explanation of our situation and he arranged to have someone come that night at 8 pm to help us. He was ALSO terrific and came through. The couch is now happily where it should be and our guests were able to sleep in comfort. Thank you sincerely to the folks at Jensen Lewis. Their service was impeccable and we'd go back there again for future furniture needs.

I love their furniture, sometimes wish the prices were better. Their furniture has a very modern look and I like their presentation - gives you a good idea of how it will look at your house. Sales people are also very helpful, knowledgeable and not super annoying. The price tags vary from relatively reasonable to skyrocketing high for no apparent reason. I've seen the same coffee table for $400 at a different store but it was $2000+ at Jensen.. Don't think the quality was a big difference - items looked identical. Either way, you can walk around the store and find many items you would buy. Suggest stopping there if looking for furniture!

What a great find this place is!!! After spending months of wasting time online looking at furniture we furnished two rooms and completed a third with the help of their designers. After listening to what we were interested in, they presented us with options for how the rooms could be laid out, presented furniture that was interesting and comfortable and put together a look that far exceeded our expectations. The quality is great, the experience from initial design to delivery have been top notch and the professionalism of the entire team made this a fantastic experience.

I ordered a Stressless chair mid-October, had a lovely salesman and was promised delivery in 4-6 weeks. The delivery never happened and the gentleman in customer service was, I feel, insincerely apologetic and did not explain the delay. By early February I gave up and cancelled the order. When I was told it would take at least a week for a refund ($1400), I informed Amex, who of course refunded the money immediately. I will never ever shop at Jensen Lewis again. It is not my style to complain! Find another source...

We ordered our sleeper sofa on Sept. 23 in time for arrival for our guests at Christmas. The second week of Nov. I called to make sure the sofa would arrive within the quoted delivery date. Mike stated he would call the manufacturer and get back to me on that Friday. The following week after not hearing back as promised I called again. Mike had zero recollection of our phone call in spite of having a protracted conversation regarding the delivery and his promise to contact the manufacturer and follow up. He again promised he would call the "buyer" this time and get back to me no later than 5:00 on Wednesday. Again, no return call. I followed up a third time today only to be told the sofa would arrive in early January 3 weeks longer than the quoted delivery time and NOT in time for my guests at the holidays. I question if he even made an attempt to contact the manufacturer and have it delivered on time as he again had a hard time remembering our conversation;quoting a different last name on the order. This was for an expensive purchase. To be treated in such a manner is irresponsible and highly annoying. UPDATE: Third week of December, Jensen-Lewis called that the sofa was ready and delivery was made on December 22nd in the "nick of time" for my company. It was a frustrating experience but in the end they made their delivery timetable. Also, the sofa bed is beautiful. We paid extra to have it covered in genuine leather and we are please with the results. I will add updates on the durability.

Is it the cheapest place to buy furniture? No.. I wouldn't go so far as to say overpriced, however. If you are shopping here, you are shopping for high-end, well-made pieces. If you want cheap and mass produced, then there are plenty of other places to look -- this is why I don't understand some of the other reviews. Jensen-lewis has been around for a long, long time.. that says something. They have a great relationship with their customers as well as the companies whose products they represent. They specifically have an incredible selection of Calligaris, which is one of my favorite designers. Their staff is knowledgeable, and you are going to get a fair price for what you are buying; most of all you are going to get and incredibly good looking and well made piece of furniture. Stop in to the store and have a look, at the very least its worth a stroll.

Easily the biggest furniture mistake I've made. My experience with this company dragged on for a couple years, and my only solution was to, eventually, just write the whole damn thing off and put everything on the curb for trash pickup. I had actually written my review before, but because I was still in the middle of trying to make things work I got this beauty - "I'm not sure I want to sell you replacement cushions because of the review you posted." So I removed my review and the manager sold me my third set of replacement cushions. I tend not to get worked up over lesser products and bad employees, but Jensen-Lewis was a horrible experience for me. Apparently, some people are happy with them. Probably not those profiles just created with one review, a 5-star review for Jensen-Lewis, but some.

Bought a couch from them on March 11. We were told the couch would take "up to 8 weeks" to get to us, 7 weeks for the store to get the couch and another week for them to get the couch to us. The 8 week point is in 4 days and we not only do not have a shipping date, but no one contacted us with an update. We called the store twice so far, they reported that they do not have the couch yet, it was not shipped to them yet and they don't know when the couch will ship to them. I was also told that the couch takes 10 business days to get to them. Then there was a long pause on the phone. Only after asking if they could look into this and get back to us, did they offer to do anything. So our couch will be at least two weeks late. We went here because it seemed like a nice place. If you are like us and want your couch delivered when quoted, or at least a courtesy call saying it is going to be late, buy elsewhere.
