One of the most charming wineries I’ve been to in the area. The garden and indoor space are both very tastefully designed. Amazing for photo shots. The wines were tasty but very similar in taste to each other. There is however no real wine tasting experience were someone explains and goes through the wines with you so not as much wine tasting experience as it is sitting in a very pretty garden and have a glass of good quality local wine .

We had such a great time at Closson Chase! We did the 4-wine tasting (20$) and absolutely loved every pour, but the Churchside Chardonnay really stood out. It had that beautiful minerality and elegance that reminded me of some of the great wines from Burgundy in France. The setting is stunning, the staff were warm and knowledgeable, and the whole experience felt relaxed yet refined. Definitely a must-visit in Prince Edward County! Can be VERY busy during the weekend. We went on a friday and it was perfect!

We had a wonderful late afternoon visit at Clossen Chase. A shout out to Tom, who seated us and then entertained us with all kinds of stories. The service was fantastic. Had a wonderful visit from one of the wine makers. Beautiful grounds and fantastic wines. Highly recommended!

Google
A really great winery. Their wines are top notch and the service is always good. My favourite is the setting, it's quite serene and relaxing out back. (Pic is from my first time visiting in 2017)

Best experience with Tyler here today in the garden. The wines are absolutely stunning- smooth but complex while also being perfect for the atmosphere surrounding. Perfect end to the day of wine tasting as the garden is quiet and peaceful. If you’re like me, the perfect picture is also a plus ;) Such an awesome place, and so welcoming. You can’t miss it if in Sandbanks!

Closson Chase is one of the best winery in Ontario. They have a fabulous Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The restaurant is great as well.

Google
Amazing experience! The chardonnays are spectacular, each one unique but all a perfect crisp representation of the grape. The tasting atmosphere was approachable and fun. Can’t wait to visit again in the garden in summer.

Yelp
We really enjoyed Closson Chase Vineyards! Their patio, which was essentially a beautiful garden, was one of the best of five wineries visited in PEC. It was lush green and very relaxing. There are a variety of menu options and wines available; I ordered a flight of four wines for $20 and marinated cheese. The wines were delicious, and especially with the cheese. Our server was great, and quick to bring out our order.

Yelp
Just came for.a Wine Tasting. Excellent wines....bought 3. Obviously Wine choice is dependant on an individuals preference. Buy their more expensive Reds for quality or longevity.

Yelp
We ate at Bantam right beside the purple barn at Closson Chas Vineyard. The food was so fresh and had so much flavour. The "Walt" was a smoked pork sandwich. It was lightly smoked which gave it spectacular flavour and not overwhelmed with the smoke flavour. The East Coast hoagie was filled with seafood and delicious.

Yelp
We started our PEC wine tour with a visit to the iconic Closson Chase Winery. We were welcomed into a pastoral rustic setting with us enjoying our wine amongst the beautiful wildflowers. Our seasoned wine steward Wayne and server Ainsley shared their knowledge of the various wines making sure we whetted our palate with a variety of suitable tastings. We were pleased both with the excellent service and the wine offerings, making this one of our favorite county wineries.

Yelp
Purple is my favourite colour! Especially the theme colour Lavender Purple of Closson Chase Vineyards. I love the branding of Closson Chase Vineyards the moment I set my food on the property. French farmhouse vibe. It is just the most gorgeous and stunning set up in PEC area. Love the outdoor tasting area shaded by the sails with muskoka chairs and beautiful French garden. The white wine here is exceptional: chardonnays and pinots. A little pricey but it is good solid wines. They also converted the old animal barns into kitchen where you can get sandwich, smoked meat and some snacks to go with your wine. Worth a stop if you are doing a winery tour in the PEC area.

Yelp
Closson Chase Vineyards was a brief stop on a recent wine tour. Their big purple barn stands out against the landscape. Their beautiful garden, where they conduct some of the tastings, was partially shielded from the sun by sails. It was a beautiful setup. There is a newly opened restaurant on site with some good smells coming out of it. Mmm, too bad I just had lunch. We sampled some wines in their garden under perfect weather. The Pino Gris was quite refreshing. This is a nice place to stop and relax with a glass of wine.

Yelp
Closson Chase was absolutely beautiful. It has a gorgeous exterior, nicely decorated interior, and a wonderful open seating area for food and tasting. They also have a little sandwich shops called the "Swinery" which offers you a few sandwiches for a quick bite. The wine on the other hand, was less than spectacular. I did not like any of the whites or reds I've tried and was a bit disappointed. They were either too acidic or had a funky aroma to it. I also didn't find much flavor in the wine.

Yelp
Exceptional chardonnays and pinots. Small vineyard, focus on pinots and chardonnays. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back. Notes: If in the area would recommend trying the Old Third, Long Dog,Chadsey and Kient-He vineyards. In the PEC area do not expect the NOTL/Beamsville experience, here the focus is on the quality of the wine, focusing on a select few grapes (primarily pinot & chardonnays), produced in small volume (not industrial scale)and less on the frills (i.e. fountains, pairings for tasting etc.).

Yelp
Quaint and friendly vineyard. Super cozy and relaxing area in lovely garden with comfortable chairs and shaded areas. Wines are good. Worth the stop. Beautiful surroundings.

Yelp
Stunning location. The vibrant purple barn makes a great backdrop for photos. The tasting area out back is beautifully planted and a lovely place to relax and sample wines. The wine itself, in my opinion, is overpriced for what it is. We found the wines at Broken Stone down the road to be more complex and flavourful, at a better price point.

Yelp
Oh my oh my! What a winery! I came to PEC wanting to buy wines from at least 2 wineries, and this one does not disappoint! Tasting through their pinot grigio, Chardonnay, and various pinot noirs, I ended up with 12 bottles in my trunk! The wine making from this winery is extraordinary.
