With some of my family resettling in Ottawa in the 1980s as part of Marion Dewar's Project 4000, this store holds a special place in my heart. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and passionate about their work. There’s a wonderful variety of high-quality items at fair prices. It’s uplifting to support a business that was originally founded to help refugees and continues to build our outstanding community. Every visit feels personal, and I always leave with a unique piece. Highly recommend!

This is cute little shop but it seems pricey for vintage/consignment ($60-70 for a standard (not designer) vintage wool skirt?). It's a little hard to navigate as the space is quite tight as well. I totally understand that businesses need to make a profit, but at that price I think the curation should be better and the store more organized.

Popped in today to find some treasures. The dress selection was very impressive. Tried on three, bought one . Unfortunately one was a bit too tight. Great prices and a sale of 25% on burgundy tags. Scored a small Coach bag for half off! First time in but not my last. The young gal who served me was very polite and helpful.

I walked by this place while I was at an event in Beechwood. I remember reading this place being a top choice for used items so I decided to check it out. When I walked in there was a musky smell and I looked around and only saw women's clothing. The lady working was nice enough to direct me downstairs. I walked downstairs and did a walk around before I noticed about half a wall if that dedicated to mens pieces. Guys, there's next to nothing in here and the pieces that they had, my grandparents would consider old! You might be able to find some gems here now and then but I'm assuming most of the time you'll just be walking around a musky scented basement surrounded by women's clothing.

I stopped by this second-hand clothing boutique when I was out walking one day. I was expecting something really trendy with good prices. Clothes Encounters of A Second Time seems to cater to a bit of an older crowd, which is neat, but I did not find the prices to reflect on the clothing being used. Also, I wasn't greeted, nor offered help during my visit. Perhaps the owner knew that I wasn't her typical customer.

This place is top notch! The staff are friendly and not pushy at all. The selection is great and the quality is excellent. I will definitely shop here again. I am very cheap and hate paying $400 for a piece of leather. This is a good, professional consignment store and a fantastic place to save money.

DON'T BOTHER !. Dirty, unkept, crammed & disorganized. Bad attitude when bringing items for sale. Keep checking that your items are sold or in stock. They break promises or ignore explicit instructions. I've had jewellery disappear & they do nothing about it. Sell at your own risk !

Love this place. Has been around forever, but I have noticed a bit improvement in the last couple years. A constantly changing and well-curated inventory of both designer and high-quality mass-market pieces for women. Not the cheapest game in town - when they know they have a great piece they price it accordingly - but some great deals during their semi-annual sales. Hours during the week are limited (only open until 5 Monday-Thursday) but they often post their new stock on their Facebook page. Staff are always very helpful when I have been there.

I really enjoyed my visit here. As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the owner. I began to browse and was pleasantly surprised to find a pair of Yoga Jeans that were exactly my size. I was happy to find something I was looking for and the staff were also very helpful in guiding me. Lovely shop!

I visit consignment stores regularly usually just checking them out to see if there is something unique and interesting. This store sometimes has such items but there day to day clothes are ho-hum and everything is overpriced compared to other consignment stores. Also service is often at a premium - twice I had to call out to find someone working in the room at the back in order to pay for an item.

I have been a fan of this boutique for the last 10 years. The staff are very friendly and provide honest feedback. I can always find a gem that allows me to be unique without having to spend a fortune. I have also found some really amazing deals for my husband and son. It is most definitely worth visiting regularly as items usually come in daily! I love it!
