Google
Curcuma Spice Latte was good and warm. Carrot Cake was good but texture is quite crumbly and dry. Matcha Mango Cake (I think that was the name, not sure) was amazing, it was great, had different soft textures and had a mango sirop layer, it was really that great, for us. Framboise (I think, or maybe raspberry?) Macaron was awesome and it had a fresher fruity taste and had an acid touch at the end which was interesting. Macaron with some nut flavor, don't remember was good too, tasted like hazelnuts or peanuts. Ambience was quiet, calm and with good lightning. The man that attended us was quite serious but he started smiling after seeing us all happy and after watching me translating to my gf and him understanding some words of what she wanted.

Google
I tried their curry soup, croissant, pain au chocolat, matcha latte, chicken salad sandwich and a macaroon of passion fruit & chocolate. All amazing except the soup which was quite oily... you can see the pools of oil in my pic below. The soup lacked texture and flavor. It was bland and very liquidy. But everything else was delicious. Also, be aware that they stop serving most of their menu items at 3 pm so if you want to try their famous avocado toast, grilled cheese sandwich and other entrees, be sure to arrive before 3 pm. And note it's a very small cafe with limited seating. They do have free wifi but no bathroom.

Google
The avocado toast was perfection. I think I’ve never eaten a more beautiful avocado toast in my life. There were onions pomegranate and cilantro with Balsamico. I ate the whole thing in 5 minutes because it was that good. There was a bit of a language barrio between the server but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Google
Had the pancakes and the grilled cheese as breakfast. Was both very good and also the coffee was very good Took some pre-packaged sandwiches for later on, and both were really delicious as well

Google
I was already very full so I only tried the pistachio and chocolate macarons, they were light and delicious. The cafe is very cute and the menu is actually very rich.

Google
Cute little vegan spot. Enjoyed the cupcakes and came back a couple mornings for a tasty fruit smoothie. Handful of tables inside and a couple outside. Very cozy coffee shop vibe. Staff was nice and accommodating to check on nut free items.

Google
Service was not very pleasant, and with us taking the whole cake they didn’t give us a regular price for the cake (as it would be if we called/ordered), but counted it as a each piece separately. well… I hope it was worth it to stop us from ever coming back as a client. Cake itself was good, not vegan friends also liked it! Place was quite full and hot, with little ventilation and windows fully covered in vapour.

Google
Such a delightful place for a vegan breakfast. The pancakes are delicious as was the Latte. The staff are polite and helpful and I will definitely be returning to try something else. Well worth a visit whether you are vegan or not!

Yelp
Insane. I have been vegan for 9 years and have never had a croissant, it was amazing !! I got the croissant meal thingy which came with 1 croissant, a toasted baguette, butter, 3 jams, 1 choice of a cold drink (I chose a smoothie) and 1 choice of a hot drink (I chose espresso!) only for 15€! It was sooooo delicous, I wish I can take this place back home with me

Yelp
Cloud Cakes is a total must if you're vegan and in Paris. Whether it's to grab pastries or lunch, everything is so delicious. My partner and I stopped at this location a couple times because we loved the space and the friendly folks who work there. The first time, we had lunch (primarily a bowl, soup/sandwich, and some coffee/tea) and the second time just to pick up some dessert for take away. While it can get busy in here, there was enough turnover that we got seats (the first time) without an issue. On the savoury front, I enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich the most, which was quite hardy on a more rustic style bread. On the pastry front, you really can't go wrong. I tried and loved all of their muffins, but also enjoyed the plain croissant and chocolate eclair. Go there and go multiple times! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Finding vegan food in Paris hasn't been easy so this was such a great find!! Delicious breakfast and coffee from here. We got two orders of pancakes (with chocolate and maple syrup), the grilled cheese, açaí bowl, and avocado toast. Everything was prepared relatively quickly and was delicious. The staff was super nice and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. The croissants and cranberry muffin were also excellent.

Yelp
Should be a 4 star review, but gets an extra star for being 100% vegan. We dropped in for Sunday Brunch. The space is small and the restaurant was crowded. The food was prepared fresh and was very tasty. The interior decor was simple and felt like a coffee/ pastry shop. The croissants were fantastic. The staff was very slow to clear dirty tables, making it difficult to find a place to sit. The place is already so small, leaving a couple of tables with stacks of used dishes is not ideal. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would come back on another day to try the regular menu.

Yelp
I'm always excited to find good vegan food when I travel and this was a great breakfast spot. I got my first croissant and bread with vegan butter and jam. Delightful way to start my day.
google avatar

Yelp
Completely vegan brunch spot that has a nice selection of some of the best French pastries in Paris - my favorite of course being the classic croissant! Light, crisp, and flaky on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside. We also tried the cookie butter cake which was surprisingly light with just the right amount of sweetness. So good we came back multiple times on our trip! We'll have to try their actual dishes next time we're in town!

Yelp
What a cute little vegan spot in Paris! I love the color blue, & it was so eye catching when looking for the building. I went there twice - that's how good it was! I tried the pumpkin latte with an açaí bowl, kind of like my brunch meal. The pumpkin latte was one of the best I've ever had and the açaí bowl wasn't a disappointment either. The second time I ordered the special of the day - I am blanking on the name but it was equally as delicious as the first time. Complimentary water right by the register. Friendly staff, which spoke good English. Tiny but enough seats to accommodate as long as people don't linger ... don't be that person! When you see a line, move on to the next spot. I'd go back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Fantastic food and wonderful service. The carrot cake was especially delicious! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Wow! I thought I was going to have a hard time finding vegan food in Paris and Cloud Cakes was my breakfast heaven! The staff was so kind and lovely, the red velvet cupcake took me to another planet and the lattes were perfect way to start our morning, merci

Yelp
delicious vegan options! when in paris, it is a must to have some tasty treats and desserts. i got an iced caramel latte and it was sooo good. we tried a brownie with walnuts, a slice of carrot cake, and a slice of cheesecake. everything was totally worth a try! i was excited to take some treats home. customer service was great! not sure about the parking situation since we uber'd everywhere. overall, highly recommend! :)

Yelp
Wonderful brunch and all vegan from bread to coffee. It's a must try for everyone! Place is hip and easy going ambience.

Yelp
Cute little cafe, great for breakfast. We had the avocado toast, pancakes, and lemonade. Both were great and lemonade was fresh (recommend asking for the fresh juice option)! Went around 930am and it wasn't too crowded so we were seated immediately

Yelp
Cloud Cakes is one of my favorite places in the world. I first visited both locations in 2018, and did not love them as much as VG Patisserie off Voltaire. I tried them again these past two weeks (2022) and I went every-single-day (oops). Brilliantly kind staff at each location, the best iced drinks in Paris, and extremely fresh and flavorful food every day. Incredibly fair pricing, very fast service. If you love pastries, and are also looking for great food to keep you going while you're in Paris, you truly have to stop by either location.

Yelp
Such a fun place! Vegan options galore. If you have time stop in. They have amazing customer service and appeal for foodies and randoms alike.

Yelp
Nearly everyday I wish there were a Cloud Cakes in Boston, because if there were, you'd find me there every. single. weekend. When my boyfriend and I bought tickets to Paris, Cloud Cakes was one of the first places I bookmarked, and it lived up to all my (very high) expectations. We went to Cloud Cakes at around 11:30 am, so weren't sure whether to order breakfast or lunch, though in hindsight we really should have come back again to try both. Eventually, we compromised and shared the grilled cheese, a croissant, and a piece of marble cake. I also ordered a latte and my boyfriend had an espresso. The grilled cheese was delicious, and came with bread, vegan cheese, mushrooms, and a side salad. It was grilled perfectly, gooey, and exactly what I hoped for. I've had many croissants, and this one, which looked to be partially whole wheat (?), did not disappoint. It wasn't quite as "buttery" as the other vegan croissant I had in Paris at VG Pâtisserie, but it was so light and flaky that I could have inhaled three. In fact, my boyfriend actually did go back and order another croissant for the road, which never made it out of the shop, oops. The marble cake was also solid. Super dense and moist with ribbons of chocolate and vanilla batter- exactly how a marble cake should be. I loved my latte, which was the perfect blend of creamy and coffee, and the espresso was tasty too. All this said, go to Cloud Cakes!! It's totally worth whatever trek you need to make it happen.

Yelp
A bit yuppie but they have good vegan carrot cake and iced coffees. It's a cute space, wouldn't recommend a party greater than 4 as the space is a bit tight.

Yelp
So delicious definitely a spot I will continue to go to. We ordered salad, soup, and veggie grilled cheese. Everything was perfect. We bought some of there amazing croissants to go and a juice. If you like yummy vegan food this is the spot! They had an big selection of good looking pastry's and sweets we'll have to try them next time!

Yelp
The cutest little spot in Rue Mandar! Love the all vegan cake selection, the range of breakfast they serve and of course the vegan croissants!!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little cafe with a window full of delicious looking treats!! I went here to meet up a couple friends on a Saturday morning. After thirty minutes of waiting for them, the place filled up (10:30am). Once we ordered, I got the pancakes with syrup and my friend the açaí bowl. Both dishes were very good. When I first saw the pancakes I thought they'd be a bit lacking (since I'm more familiar with massive American pancakes), but they were just enough! I love how much fruit is put on them. There are also so many cupcakes, muffins and cakes you can have too. The environment is very inviting, staff is nice and can speak English, and neighborhood fun to roam around. I would come back here for the sweets!!

Yelp
Wonderful vegan cupcakes!!! Period end of story! And it's a vegan coffee shop! What awesomeness just happened! I had the vanilla cupcake and it is hands down fantastic. And the service was wonderful too. This area is so cute. Love walking down these streets. Beautiful.

Navva M.

Yelp
Convenient and congenial, healthy and vegan in a fun, easy location. Smiling service too!

Yelp
So disappointed with this place. The food is not even that good . It's a small cafe with some already made desserts. We got there at 11:15. The girl gave us a menu and said we had to pay at counter first. Okay .not a problem .we decided on what we wanted and went up to pay .wait...the kitchen closes at 11??? Why would you give us a menu lady? Why not tell us that . Ugh .well we were hungry so I just grabbed a matcha latte to find another place to eat .well unfortunately nothing was appealing to me in the area so we just decided to walk around and come back at 12 for the lunch menu because thats when we could order . Well the lunch bowl was bland and rice was meh . I really should have just not come back . So we decided to make it in the last day we were to fly out just to see if they could do breakfast better .planned our morning out so we would have enough time for our flight . Well...got their at 815am .you know gives us plenty of time..well nope not happening..sorry the cook is not in . Asked do you know when he will be ? Nope..ugh .really didn't care at all , was the attitude we got. So maybe it was bad luck for us. But we would not go back ever .

Yelp
My wife and I are both vegans and just recently visited Paris for two weeks. During our stay, Cloud Cakes quickly become one of our favorite spots. Especially since the cafe is 100% Vegan! It's so nice to know that you can order anything off the menu without having to ask if anything contains dairy or meat. The staff is friendly, and there are English menus available just in case your french isn't that great. We mostly visited Cloud Cakes for breakfast and that's probably what I'd recommend coming here for. We also come by to pick up a hot drink, croissant, or a dessert to go when we were walking the streets of Paris since that cafe wasn't too far from our Airbnb. If you're a vegan visiting Paris, Cloud Cakes should definitely be on your list of places to visit! Finding vegan options while traveling can be quite a challenge, so I'm reviewing most of the places my wife and I stayed during our trip to make it easier for others visiting in the future. Be sure to check out my other reviews if you're a vegan visiting Paris and wondering where you'll be able to eat!

Yelp
I was so excited to find a vegan cafe in Paris that could provide me the two things I was craving - hot chocolate and croissants. It was a bit of a walk from where I was staying, and it was raining, but there was no place better for a vegan to enjoy that Parisian cafe life. The croissant was perfectly flaky and yet...I think it was whole-wheat? I don't know, it was kind of making me sad! It was missing that buttery richness I expect from croissants, too. It tasted very healthy, and I ordered it twice in hopes the first time was a fluke. Nope, that's the croissant! The hot chocolate was wonderful. Being able to sip on hot chocolate in Paris while it's raining and cold really felt special. It's not one of those super thick hot chocolates, it's pretty milky, but very drinkable. I hope they retire this silly notion of whole-what croissants (a crime against humanity, I swear), or at least also offer traditional ones. Having said that...I had a croissant! In Paris! OMG! Only because of Cloud Cakes, and that is pretty awesome.

Yelp
Great vegan dessert in Paris! We tried the red velvet cupcake (my favorite!), forêt noire - chocolate and cherry cake, and the cheesecake. They were all very good! Tip: try to get there early because they run out.

Yelp
Cloud Cakes, I literally love you. As a vegan exploring France, I had pretty much accepted that I was going to miss out on the Parisian cafe experience. I randomly discovered Cloud Cakes through a Yelp search and it had completely changed my view on vegan French pastries. Cloud Cakes is situated on a small street that intersects off of a relatively busy road. The main road is full of cafes, restaurants, and people, so it's nice that this little cafe is an escape from the center of the craziness. The decor is adorable and the cafe is very clean. The staff are all warm and friendly people, and they are able to speak both English & French very well. The croissants are amazing & you literally cannot tell that they're vegan. In fact, they were so perfect that I came back a second time to try their pancake breakfast (& treat myself to another croissant)! Hands down the. Best. Vegan. Pancakes. I have ever tried. Period. And this is coming from someone who lives in San Francisco, which is pretty much a vegan haven. Their cappuccino & lattes are also divine. Perfect accompaniment to their pastries. I am so devastated that Cloud Cakes is literally on the other side of the world from me because there is nothing not to love about this little cafe. Definitely a must-visit spot and I will absolutely return if I ever come back to Paris!

Yelp
My husband and I are both vegans visiting Paris from MN USA. We ordered the croissant, pumpkin cupcake, and cheesecake. I loved the croissant. So good. I did not eat the cupcakes, the husband did. He did not care for it. The cheesecake was ok. I was expecting a NY style cheesecake and this wasn't really it. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order again. The employee there spoke English! very friendly staff. Clean, cute spot! I would like to visit again and try some other items.
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
Charming and inviting cafe with a great assortment of vegan choices. The pancakes were delicious and not heavy. The croissants are a must, because when in Paris... They also have other amazing desserts and pastries. Patronize and support this great place!
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
Cute little cafe, with a very comfortable and inviting environment. Everything is vegan. I went for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast (€8.50) and a double espresso (€3.50), then bought a croissant (€1.80) to go. The avocado toast was tasty but the portion was extremely small for the high price -- wasn't impressed with that part of it. Comfortable, tasty place for a vegan breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
I love Cloud Cakes! I was so incredibly happy to discover an all vegan bakery right near my Airbnb off Rue Montorgueil during my stay in Paris. I went here three times during a single week! Being vegan, I was so happy to enjoy a traditional French croissant. Make sure to get one in the morning when they're most fresh. Totally delicious and flaky. The chocolate muffin with peanuts was also excellent, perfectly moist and the right amount of sweetness. We also LOVED the coffee drinks! I tried both the ginger beetroot latte and the turmeric latte. My dining companion loved the cappuccino and also enjoyed the matcha latte. I think the ginger beetroot one was definitely a highlight, though. Plus, it's super pretty! The staff here was friendly and made me feel so welcome despite my extremely limited French. The place was packed full of people when we stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, so clearly they're doing something right. Thanks Cloud Cakes for the wonderful pastries and coffee! I hope to return in the future.

Yelp
I've always dreamed of eating croissants and drinking lattes in France, but being vegan, I didn't think I would achieve that. I was awake for over 20 hours when I ran with my friends to find this place and we were pleasantly surprised with a 25 euro brunch option that came with avocado toast, pancakes, a salad, pommes frites, tofu scramble, a croissant, a hot drink, and a cold drink. The food was amazing and the decor was so lovely. The only complaint I have is that it took over 30 minutes for our two pancakes to come out which complicated things as it made us very late meeting up with the rest of our group at the Louvre. It was definitely worth it though. (I also accidentally spent 10 euro on fruit bars from a translation error but they definitely kept me alive when I went to Basque country and subsisted on sangria and bread). We ate the pancakes in the Louvre and had such a great beginning to our trip at this cafe.

Yelp
Obsessed with cloud cakes, came back three times during my stay in Paris. The combo deals are perfect so you can try multiple things. The soup, cloud salad, and grilled cheese were all amazing. The savory croissant with "ham" "cheese" and "béchamel" was out of this world. The regular croissant was great too. You won't miss diary or meat here!
google avatar

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Such an adorable little vegan cafe! I had heard they had vegan croissants so it was a must for me to visit. I started with a croissant and pumpkin spiced coffee (Seasonal for fall). The croissant was so delicious, I had to order another to go. I also ordered the avocado toast. I loved the pomegranate and garnish touch it had. My mom ordered a vermicelli salad which she thought was really good. I am not a big fan of vermicelli dishes so my opinion on it is biased lol This would probably be my hang out spot for coffee if I lived in Paris.

Taryn C.

Yelp
We frequented this spot on our trip to Paris. The lattes and baked goods were incredible. We highly recommend ordering their croissants; they taste like buttery clouds. We feature them in our video if you would like to get a feel for the ambiance and food. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YO91WI4_k8

Yelp
Vegan croissants?! Friendly owners paired with insanely delicious dairy-free (and some gluten free) confections make for a delicious vegan paradise. Conveniently located in the 2nd arrondissement, in the Montorgueil neighborhood, it's central, it's easy, and... if you're vegan, it's your new favorite hangout. #fact Good to know: It's open all day during the week (8:30am-7:30pm) -- amazing. The decor is gorgeous -- hello ambiance. AND they have wifi -- my life is MADE! My favorites: - The croissants - The carrot cake - The chocolate peanut butter cupcakes
google avatar

Dana D.

Yelp
Place was cute and service friendly, but lacking in variety and iced drinks (we went during the heatwave over the summer)! Surprisingly I had better vegan croissants in the states. I would go back only because there aren't a lot of bakeries in the area that are dairy-free.

Cindy H.

Yelp
Slightly warm but incredibly delicious!!!! Tofu scrambled egg with a toasted multi grain Croissant-phenomenal. Period. Period. Period Friendly staff && the pumpkin spice latte just insane Please make your way here!!!

C.S J.

Yelp
One of the fluffiest, best vegan pancakes I've ever had. Not too sweet. The fruit and cream usually are too sweet but everything worked perfectly for these light and perfect pancakes. The vegan croissant came with espresso. Croissant very dense and dry and arrived on the colder side. Not recommended--have had gloriously fluffy and flaky vegan croissants elsewhere so this was disappointing.
google avatar

Stephen H.

Yelp
This place is often busy, even in the middle of a weekday afternoon. It's popular among tourists who are looking for their vegan fix and I was just having coffee but tried a couple of the treats that my friend bought and they were great.
google avatar

Chloe G.

Yelp
The food here was very good, though I was a bit confused. Upon giving me the menu, they told me the ONLY thing I could order was brunch, and that they were giving me the menu to choose what I wanted for my hot drink, and my cold drink. I thought it was odd, that I could ONLY have brunch, since they had so much on their menu, but everyone else had a brunch plate so I went with it. Brunch consisted of a hot drink (I got a cappuccino), a cold drink (I got orange juice), a croissant, potatoes with a side of ketchup, tofu scramble with salsa and avocado, a pomegranate salad with vinaigrette, a pancake plate with whipped cream, syrup (you can choose between maple, chocolate, and caramel) fruits, and almonds. It was quite a large brunch, and it was all for a very decent price! Not to mention that everything was absolutely delicious. I'd definitely go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic vegan brunch with whole everything from great ww croissants to tofu scramble to pancakes with fruit, go hungry, go early

Yelp
Very good desserts and lattes. A nice little place to relax and use free Wi-Fi plus the service was very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
They speak English, and I didn't get a picture but their grilled cheeses are to die for!!! Soooo good!!! Super friendly, fast, and delicious!
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Cute spot to grab lunch in the Montageuil district. My five friends and I all had a Buddha bowl which consisted of quinoa, fresh and grilled vegetables, and a tahini sauce. For an extra €1.50 you could add a cold beverage or a vegan cupcake. It's a small place so seating is crowded but comfortable once you have a table. I recommend the bionade and the carrot cake.
google avatar

Trey B.

Yelp
MUST VISIT !!! This place is wonderful. Excellent coffee, croissants, and avocado toast. Wonderful service and atmosphere.
google avatar

Daniel S.

Yelp
Cute little cafe with delicious pastries. I had a slice of the chocolate cake, it was delicious. The foods were reasonably priced for being vegan. The cashiers speak a bit of English in case you need and they are very friendly. There are also a couple of power outlets which is a plus for tourists.
google avatar

Marley W.

Yelp
Super mignon et délicieux! The macaroons were delicious and the staff always helpful and friendly.
google avatar

Lana S.

Yelp
The best place ever!!!!! So many yummy and delicious vegan muffins, cupcakes, and cakes!!!! And such good lattes! I love it here!!! They have free wifi and an adorable little setting, outdoor or indoors. We went here for breakfast one morning and they have amazing pancakes!!! So good and such good whipped cream! I highly recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike!

Yelp
This is purely a brunch review. The pancakes were not to great, portion of scrambled vegan tofu & potatoes was way to small to enjoy, & the croissants didn't taste very fresh. Overall everything was just ehhh. Not worth it.
