Cloudy Bay Vineyards

Cloudy Bay Vineyards is an exceptional experience from start to finish. The wines are outstanding, and the service is genuinely attentive without ever feeling forced. A real highlight was the morning drive in the old Land Rover called Dave. It was informative, relaxed, and added so much character to the visit. If you have the chance to do it, I highly recommend it. The estate itself is beautiful and very well maintained, with a great atmosphere for tasting and spending time. The restaurant is also worth mentioning. Thoughtful dishes, well paired with their wines, and a perfect place to slow down and enjoy Marlborough properly. They also have a great selection of gifts and bottles to take home, which makes it hard to leave empty-handed. Overall, a must-visit winery in the region and an experience that feels both premium and welcoming.

Fantastic winery known for its tropical fruit forward, acidic Sauvignon Blancs. Very beautiful cellar door and Fantastic guided tasting experience. The Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc and Te koko remain classics worth trying for all.

The first taste tour is awesome, private, and lovely! Paul was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable about wine. He explained everything so patiently in Mandarin and my family enjoyed the tour a lot! Thank you for making my parents 30 years wedding anniversary so romantic and memorable! Would love to come back if visiting New Zealand again!

The wine and the setting are impressive. We had the sauvignon blanc 2025 and it was truly special. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit.

Wine is of course impeccable, but I would give the restaurant a miss. Service was excellent though food did not fully hit the spot. Come for the wine, lunch elsewhere

Perfection! Honestly, going here was not my first or second choice. I thought it was going to be over-hyped “put NZ wine on the map” checklist. We ended up here bc several others were closed on Mondays or didn’t offer lunch. I was very pleasantly surprised regarding the entire experience. The grounds, the staff, the service, the wine, and food were all top notch. In the top 5 meals of my life for sure. Great, calm, upscale (yet not pretentious) vibe and so beautiful.

Wine tasting through the Cloudy Bay range ably assisted by Anne from the Cloudy Bay team. Fantastic ‘cellar door’ experience and an opportunity to purchase current and older vintages at the end. Great cycle ride though the vineyards to Jackson Road.

Outstanding wine, we did 2 of the tastings and both were excellent, the 2025 Sav is the best I've ever had. I was also given a free glass of bubbles for my birthday, will be back again! Beautiful cellar door.

We'd mistakenly booked the wrong day, but they were accommodating. It's a beautiful site. I thought the restaurant is a little pricey. The beef tartare was bland. The fish was excellent. The cheese board was $$$. Wine amazing. Not much of a gift shop, which was a little disappointing.

Owned by Louis Vuitton. Beautiful beautiful grounds, a lovely restaurant and wine tasting room. We started by sharing their fresh shucked oysters and a charcuterie platter. Everything was delicious, service was knowledgeable & impeccable. I enjoyed my Sauvignon Blanc tasting sample & my husband a Riesling. Our oysters were icy cold & perfect. The charcuterie hit the spot! A wonder stop, lunch & wine experience. We left with wine.

What an amazingly beautiful place. We stumbled upon this place looking for a place to relax, and wow were we rewarded with a beautiful clear fall day and lovely hospitality. Wonderful wines, wonderful grounds, and we absolutely loved the charcuterie they served. Everyone with whom we interacted was friendly and knowledgeable. We brought back a bunch of wine from this vineyard and our friends were delighted. A must-go if you get a chance.

Absolutely classy cellar door with great food selections and a really pleasant place to sit and enjoy your tastings. A knowledgeable and passionate staff. The 2018 Cab Sauv is a really nice easy drinker for the newbie.

A relatively young vineyard known worldwide. Vines are exceptional and decently priced. We came during the "off season" but b the place still had tons of visitors it was under stuffed. The staff did a superb job catering to everyone. We did one of the tastings with thirty cheeses. I loved their Gouda cheese with spices which they source from a family in the North island. The grounds of vineyard were lovely. Overall had a great afternoon there. They have many options from a tour with lunch, but we only had half an hour to spare.

Excellent Great setting out side in the courtyard or on the lawns. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Wines lovely. Excellent food selection.
