We were a group of 21 christmas theme limo trip! Everything was set up when we got there! The best experience. Wine was delicious, everything was decorated so pretty! Staff members were wonderful! One lady even went out of her way to take a great photo of us!! Thank you again for all your help!

Surprised to find out that you can't purchase a bottle to share on site- you have to buy $7 pours in small stemless glasses that they let you keep. I don't need more souvenir glasses- it definitely impacted our visit and we left after one glass. It's a shame because the wines are good. Other local wineries seem to encourage groups to open bottles on site so we were surprised by this.

Delicious wine and a beautiful atmosphere!!! Staff is always super friendly and very knowledgeable!! Our favorite is their Sparkling Resiling!!! They have a large selection of several different types of wine!! Highly recommended!!!! The best winery in the Lehigh Valley!!!

I'm by no means knowledgeable about wines. My friend was visiting from NJ and wanted to go. I'm very fussy and don't like a lot of wines because I prefer a sweet wine. I went in thinking I wouldn't like any of it and walked out with 2 bottles of wine that I absolutely love. The staff was friendly and accommodating & I loved how classy their decor was. I brought their Christmas Wine to a party this weekend and everyone loved it! I'll definitely be back!

I'm new to drinking wine even though I'll be 47 in 2 weeks. I'm still on the Sweet Red's. Nice spot. Showroom has a lot of accessories. Young lady was very helpful in helping me select a specific wine that I ended up buying 3 bottles of. Nice spaces for families with kids to walk around. Also, tables with umbrellas outside and air-conditioned inside for sitting and sharing with Friends.

Move over Herb Ertlinger, there’s a new undrinkable Fruit Wine in town. I didn’t visit their establishment, but I purchased a bottle of their DeChaunac red wine from my local PAFWGS store. I was intrigued by the back-label description of the mystique of the DeChaunac grape… and heavy berry notes this varietal imparts. I also noticed the weird encouragement that they age their wine in stainless steel barrels, to preserve the fruity notes (who needs the subtle tannic alchemy and expertise of aging wine in oak when you can dump it into sterile industrial vats?) Yes, I read the whole back label and all I could think was - “dear lord, they’re trying to avoid saying ‘Plummy Bouquet’.” I’m not a wine snob, by any means - and while I paid $13+ for this bottle - I’ve paid $11 for one of the most incredible Sauternes I’ve ever sipped with foie gras from France. You can’t judge a bottle by its price. Or its label. But I am, unreservedly, sensory aware and a Taster. And I’m giving my trained, honed, natural, and unsolicited opinion. I wonder how Clover Hill would address the notes of Latex in their wine - much like the tincture of a used band-aid some frat-bro plopped into an untended glass of sangria. And let it steep to bring out the unpalatable flavor notes of a wine that was starved of oxygen and fought a hard fight against sulphur compounds. Who is the vintner at Clover Hill who tasted this saccharine, one dimensional, explosion of Berry-Fruit Gummies co-mingled with gentle notes of latex and said, “bottle THAT and put our label on it.” That’s just a mean thing to do to people with tastebuds. That’s mean. I would have given this wine one star, but if you can hide the plastic taste with lots of fresh lemon and orange juice, I think this could make a stellar sangria.

Peaceful and with a beautiful view. Food and snack options are limited but a glass is well worth the treat for $7. Protip: Come on a weekday and avoid the wait with ample patio seating. Refills are $6 if you hold on to your glass.

A peaceful, relaxing environment with lots of open space and hillside vineyards. The staff is courteous and attentive, and the location has a park like feel. Great for outdoor drinking. The wines are range from good to very good, with my preference leaning toward the dry reds. The Cabernet Sauvignon was particularly tasty, with rose petal notes, accompanied by cherries and spice. Also enjoyed the Barbera

The scenery is nice. I wasn't a huge fan of the dry wines though, I enjoyed the sweeter wines much more. If you get a sweet wine sampler or glass I would recommend the Vignoles that was my favorite. Oh and the customer service was excellent, very kind staff.

I'd rank this my top favorite in the area! I liked the calm atmosphere, open and bright. Perfect for parties to reserve space. Loved the gift shop. Big parking lot and good location. Employees were knowledgeable and friendly. Cool wine glass you can keep!

I wish I liked the wine better but it's not my favorite out of the local wineries. Though the winery itself is a great space. They have a separate banquet style area with just tables and chairs. There's two bar areas, one facing the banquet room and another in the store area. I do enjoy going to different events like their Wine Slushie Weekends and Vino in the Valley. Due to the spacious area and distinct tasting and store area it never feels too crowded like other wineries. For Vino in the Valley they made a Clover Hill Frizzangria with tea which was delicious. They paired up with K'Town Pub for the pairing which was also delicious. Not a fan of their wine, but their wine drinks - slushies and sangria are great. The space is great and the staff is always very friendly. And their free tasting of 5 wines is definitely a plus.

Clover was a surprisingly great find. The tasting is free, and I generally liked everything I sampled. They've been making wine for over 30 years and are up to a total of 75 acres of vines. One thing I was shocked to hear is they don't do weddings. To me, this is a plus, since vineyards that don't do weddings can focus all their attention to wine making. Oddly enough you can't open bottles here, although you can order glasses of wine. They had a very impressive wine list (all estate grown). The reds were generally smooth & fruity and the whites were soft. Everything was well priced. My favorite was the Pinot Grigio (which I had a glass of), but for Christmas I bought a bottle of Pinot Noir.

Large selection of wine, a large tasting room, and a good amount of outdoor seating with a decent view. They have a unique selection of sparkling wines both red and white. Sparkling Chambourcin is an fun one. Fan of their pinot noir too.

Number 5 Last stop of our party of three's Pennsylvania wine tour of Lehigh Valley Wine Trail. There were no wine list to take home as the list is laminated and tacked onto the bar counter for patrons to view. Without a written wine list to keep, I do not remember what was imbibe during the tasting. I believe tastings was $5.00 for five. Our server's name is Tina (just like mine!!) who is attentive and welcoming. I did not purchase their wine glasses. Clover Hill does not offer wine tours of its premises. Their gift shop offers cute wine accessories. The wine cork holders are wrought iron decoratively welded as "Wine Corks" and some appear to be a bird cage but are very whimsical. Decorative wine shoe stands make nice dinner parties or for at home display until drinking time.

Had a blast here for shushies weekend! The favorites of my friend and I were the vignoles, Catawba and concord. They were very crowded, so service was slow, which we didn't mind. Everyone was so nice. We brought our own snacks and sat outside for a bit to finish our slushies.

Great place. Fantastic wines, friendly staff, and beautiful scenery. One of our favorite places on our wineries list to frequent. If you like smooth wine, this is the best. We purchased numerous wines, including the Ruby Red port, one of the best Ports I've ever had.

What can I say? Not impressed . They are just serving wine that is all. I love Franklin's instead . Here you have to pay for tasting , wines are not even that great . Ambience? 0 . Seriously do Not waste your time this is not a place to go and enjoy your time .

Myself, my husband, best friend and her husband went yesterday for a wine tasting. We literally stood at the bar and was not even acknowledged with a "hello" or a "we'll be right with you" or even an look of acknowledgement. We got looks, but not good ones. Little kids on the floor on the other side of the room acknowledge us before anyone working there. This isn't the first time that this happened here. I hate to feel like it was a matter of race, but it felt pretty clear. This is ridiculous sad because the ladies at the Farmer's Market location are super nice and welcoming. This is not a place I would ever return to strictly because of this. Thanks for the free cucumber water while we waited before we ultimately walked out.

I have it by the winery on my way to Reading Pennsylvania. I only just discovered wine this past year and I'll be 47 years old in a few weeks. I'm very new so I'm into the sweet wines. The lady in the showroom was able to introduce me to a semi sweet white butt sticking to character I ended up with 3 bottles of Catawba. Very tasty for my next sangria. A lot of nice open spaces for kids to run, sitting areas indoor and out, and the store has a lot of accessories. I surely will be back.

I literally only gave this place two stars because of the very nice woman who delivered and explained our wines after I had to go back and forth twice between the banquet room and the tasting room to talk to the very rude guy who I hope was new. He was working at the tasting room bar and explained to us that we could do the tasting room special with food and wine or get cheese and crackers from the case and both options had us go back to the banquet room. Where we were not told explicitly that it would require us to walk back and forth between each tasting to get our next glass in the tasting room. Honestly? The wine was not good; at best. The Pinot was really good but that's about it. I would skip this and go to Folino Estate just down the road. It's stunning and the staff is amazing. Stay later and get dinner too! You're welcome in advance to not waste your time

Great experience at this winery. The place was packed but we were helped immediately upon walking up to the bar. Jon was very knowledgeable and helped us with our wine tasting. I'm a strictly red wine kind of gal, but he talked us into trying a white and I bought a bottle of it! Will definitely be back.

Stopped by on the way to Poconos and had an exceptionally great time! The wine and hospitality was exceptional!

I have seen Clover Hill grow over the last ten years and I really want to like this winery. But the service and the atmosphere is not the best and I rarely feel welcome. Not a great stand out on the Lehigh Valley wine trail. In my opinion, their wine is over-rated and over-priced.

My wife and I took a trip up to the Allentown area to partake in some of the wine trails, and this place might have had my favorite wine out of all of the places that we ventured to. But to be honest, I get Ashley K.'s reference. In some ways, it does feel like a "megachurch," certainly not something that has grown and evolved over time like some other wineries in the Lehigh Valley. The building sticks out like a sore thumb among the natural beauty of the area, but I was more concerned with the quality and variety of the wines. In that aspect, this place did not disappoint. As a wine novice, I enjoyed the detail and explanation given for each of the wines. While it took a bit of time to get to the bar/tasting area, the server was very attentive and took time to go through each of the wines. We tasted a wide variety of whites, reds and roses, along with some of their specialty wines. My wife and I each picked out our favorites and bought a few bottles. Overall the ambiance of this place isn't the best, but I found the wine to be topnotch. The testament to this place's wine is that we liked them enough that we later ordered a few more bottles and had them delivered to MD.

They have free wine tastings and seasonal vineyard tours. The free tasting let's you try up to 5 for free. They have 25 wines for you to choose from. Some of the specialty wines and the sparkling have a tasting fee. The Cayuga white and strawberry pint grigio were my favorite. Highly recommend stopping by.

We went to the Chile Pepper Festival in Bower, PA and were on our way home when we saw the road signs for Clover Hill, so we decided to stop for a tasting. The winery is beautiful both inside and out. The vineyard setting is gorgeous. They have signs as you walk in explaining their tasting and other services. The nice thing here is that the tastings are free but limited to 5 wines per person, which in my opinion is plenty. The staff is very nice and helpful. I tried 1 white, the Cayuga White, which turned out to be my favorite. My companion tried the Vidal Blanc which was also very good. Next I tried the Dolcetto, which is a rose and my companion tried Riesling. The Riesling was very good, the Dolcetto a little dry. Next we went for the reds. The Sangiovese and Merlot were both just OK. Finally, we tried sweet wines. My companion had the Passion Fruit, which was tasty but I couldn't imagine drinking a whole glass of it. I had the Concord, which tasted like grape juice. Very tasty, but again too sweet to have a glass. We didn't purchase any bottles, the wines just weren't good enough for the price. The white wines were definitely better than the reds. They sell wine by the glass for $5 and you can drink them on their veranda. I had a glass of the Cayuga and my companion a glass of the Riesling, which she enjoyed. I highly recommend if you stop here, and it's worth a stop, to buy a glass of wine and sit outside and enjoy.

I enjoy visiting local wineries and Clover Hill wine is one of my favorites. The staff has always been very nice even when the tasting room is "standing room" only. With COVID-19 I have had their wine shipped and have done curbside pickup. I could not have asked for better service.

we loved the surroundings with the fields of grapes and the wine was very good as well. they have been around for quite a long so they know how to make wine. you can only seat outside on the terrace and sample wines. very unique.

Wow This place was crazy busy on a Saturday, we went here and waited around for over 20 minutes waiting to try wine. People came in about 10 minutes after us and were getting help before us Maybe it was my tattoos idk? But I'm originally from CA and I know real good wine, and I am a wino and I have $$$. But after 20 minutes me and my fiancée said F it and left...gave other wineries our money

Maybe it's just me, but a major part of the appeal of visiting Lehigh Valley vineyards is their rustic appeal. Out of the three vineyards in the area, the brand-new construction and megachurch/walmart feel of this one really turned me off. Their wines were comparable to that of surrounding competitors, but the atmosphere was seriously lacking. They have automatic doors at the entrance, identical to those at the grocery store, and the overly-large retail area was full of cheesy junk that was made in China. They also had a ton of cringe-inducing wine racks shaped like fat men, golfers, and one which inexplicably featured a dog wearing a tag that read: "got beer?"

I went for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend and this place is not only gorgeous but the service is outstanding! Linda at the tasting room was so informative about the wines. She was welcoming and gave us impeccable service, she made our first visit memorable! This is our go to vineyard for now on.

Ashley's reference to the "megachurch" is right on. This didn't feel like a winery to me - it felt like they were trying too hard. But we did enjoy their Pinot Grigio and picked up a bottle. The staff wasn't as friendly as Vynecrest & I didn't like their tacky wine racks and other oddball items. Sell me some good wine from some people who know their stuff, and I'm a happy girl. I actually enjoyed their wine offerings a bit more than those at Vynecrest. I'm hoping to find a better combo of service & wine elsewhere on the trail.

What a beautiful facility! The staff was very personal, friendly, and knowledgeable about their wine. I find their wines to be on the sweeter side. I don't have a personal favorite...yet. We purchased several bottles and will return again. Thank you Clover Hill for a pleasant wine tasting experience!

Great place to go for a complimentary wine tasting. Good variety of wines, on the sweeter side, which I like. Justin helped us today and was fantastic. Have been here a handful of times and will keep coming back!

We visited Clover this weekend with another couple. The winery is beautiful. It's actually quite large inside and out. For the March winery events that have been going on at the local wineries, they had a white sangria made this their Riesling, which really was quite delish and put my head in summer! They are a decent wine selection. We found several that we really enjoyed. One interesting wine was the chocolate wine. I'm on the fence about it, but it was enjoyed by the rest of my group. I'd say the only thing I didn't love is the lack of person attention you get at some other smaller wineries. Oh, and tastings are FREE, so that's a positive!!

We were there today for wine tasting and had a great time!! The wine was great and Justin was awesome with all the information he shared about the wines!! We will be back!!!

We go every year, and the only bad thing I have to say is that they're always out of that Concord grape juice ! Beautiful place and beautiful scenery

Great customer service really good wines! I definitely recommend this winery if you're doing the Bucks County Wine trail or even along the Lehigh Valley trail. Great prices for really good wine.

Very disappointed the tasting room staff are very cold, impersonal, and disengaged. The server gave glasses and menus said it would be a minute and the disappeared for 15 mins. It's busy please get more people.

Wow! Went here with friends from California. Sampled some great wines The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They told us about the wines and shared stories and history about the vineyard. We will definitely be back. This is on the top of my list to take visitors. If you want a positive experience in the Lehigh Valley this should be at the top of your list.

I love the atmosphere here. It's beautiful when you pull up and there is a great patio that you can eat or have wine on. The wine itself was middle of the road for me. I really liked their sparkling Pinot Noir and the merlot. Nothing really grabbed me besides those. Staff was very friendly.

What a difference a generation makes. Otherwise known as 20 years, or about how long it's been since I left home for greener pastures in this post-industrial world. I remember a small wooden cart at the old Whitehall Mall across the way, selling very sweet red and white wines with a tremendous novelty--they were not part of the PA LCB monopoly on wine that gave all of us in PA a taste of Soviet-era retailing. Now, they've expanded into a double-sized retail space (as well as their own vineyard tasting room) with a full selection of wines and supporting tchotchkes. More importantly, the local climate has shifted enough that the noble grapes like chardonnay, cabernet, and merlot can actually grow, mature, and thrive. The cabernet still lacks enough body as a dry, aged wine, but the merlot is really hitting its stride. The aroma is different (perhaps this is a developing LV nose?), but the flavor and body now are spot on. The staff is knowledgeable about wine, friendly (still a miracle in a state where wine sales and marketing were handled by folks also tasked with alcohol law enforcement), and the offerings are interesting. Hey, a reason to go to the mall.

Very sad end to an otherwise fantastic day. Bought tickets for a wine tour promoted in part by Clovery Hill. Rented limo to celebrate a 20th wedding anniversary. Upon return to Clover Hill from tour, was chastised by owner of winery for leaving cars parked at his winery. Funny though how he didnt have a problem collecting our money for the tickets or the bottles of wine we bought. As for the winery itself, very commercial and lacks charm and warmth. Much better choices in Lehigh and Berks.

Surprised by the not so great reviews. This was my first time here and we had a great employee help us with the tasting (wish I got her name). She was friendly and guided us through the wines and we chatted about all different things involving wine and she answered a lot of my curious questions. We opted to get two glasses, some cheese and pretzels and sit outside. There was a decent crowed. Clover Hill has a more modern feel then Vynecrest, personally I love older, historical but I would venture to clover hill again, had a nice experience and time outside with my friend.

Your standard mass produced winery. Quality will not vary much from year to year. Good variety of dry to sweet, red to white that is sure to appease all palates. Friendly staff. Their wines are also avaliable in the wine and spirits store.s

Felt very "pushed" and rushed during the tasting. The pourer/attendant was very businessey not warm and personable. There are bazillion other wineries in PA to give my $ to. Too bad CH you could had me at the Catawba.

Arranged a wine tour to include this winery. Didn't say anything on their website about being closed on Labor Day and don't answer their phones (in days prior so I could plan ahead). Lame lame lame.

Great local winery. I have traveled to wine regions all over the world and love finding local gems like this. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, wines are well made and the patio is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. I prefer dry reds and they make several very nice wines. Will be back to visit soon!

We organized a wine tour of Berks county and since we live in Lehigh county we figured we would start and end at Clover Hill. We rented a limo so that we could taste and not worry about it. We met at Clover Hill, tasted there and jumped into the limo and had a great day at 4 Berks County Wineries. When we arrived back Clover Hill we were met by a very rude individual that told us that we were taking up 4 spots in his parking lot. He further explained that he was the owner of the winery. He did not care that we had just spent money touring some of the other wineries in the area, spending money and buying wine at these locations, nor did he care we bought wine at his establishment. All he wanted to tell us was that we were not welcome to leave our four cars in his parking lot. His attitude may be the reason why all his retail stores for his winery are no longer open and in any malls. I could understand this coming from Robert Mondavi or another huge winery that sells all around the world, not someone who relies on local people to sell his wine. Lets be real, the wines of the Lehigh and Berks Counties are not the best wines. We just enjoy the atmosphere and friends while visiting these places. I will continue to spend money in our locally wineries, just not Clover Hill!!
