We had a lovely stay, the room was nice och we slept well. Food is really good(+me vegetarian). Yes, more expensive than most accommodations but well worth it. The staff was super-eager to help and make it as comfortable for you as possible! To order pizza to the room after a day of Island hopping was so super-good 😍🥰 super tasty!

I really wanted to write a positive review of our stay at Club Agutaya but our experience should serve as a warning to travelers. ||We stayed for 4 nights in Villa 1-D and every morning my partner and I woke up to several insect bites which we attributed to spiders, sand flies or mosquitoes. Thankfully our 2 year old daughter was spared as she was sleeping in the middle of the bed. We still asked to change rooms in case the room had bedbugs. The front desk did not respond the first time, nor the second time we asked. |On the last morning we finally confirmed the presence of bedbugs (photo included for proof) and told the front desk upon check out but staff seemed flustered with check out procedures and could only apologize. ||We paid nearly 300 euros per night for a substandard room infested with bugs over new year holidays, more than what we usually pay at other 3-star hotels in Europe or 4-star hotels in the Philippines. For that money we had not only the physical torture of itchy bites that will last for days but also the psychological torment of potentially bringing home bedbugs in our luggage and having to de-infest our own home!! Think about that. ||It’s really hard to hate the resort given its location right on the massive beach and on site staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable. Every request for small things was delivered but for more complicated requests like room changes be prepared to be ghosted. We booked almost two months in advance and my emails to confirm booking and request for information went unanswered until I was forced to troll their instagram page.||Other things we noted:|- no room cleaning is done unless you request it (we requested front desk the night before the 3rd day but nobody came and we had to make a second request)|- as above, front desk and booking staff unresponsive or forget your requests: be prepared to chase them|- Food at the restaurant was hit or miss, we were served undercooked fish sinigang one of our dinners and we told the chef owner who was there with her family and she gave our dinner for free as an apology, which is a nice gesture. Pandan chicken and tabby’s fried rice were great. Restaurant staff are nice though and entertained my daughter when she was bored.|- Complementary airport drop off and pick up was a nice touch

What an amazing stay! I flew here to attend a beach wedding. I stayed in the villas and really enjoyed the big bed all to myself. The staff were friendly and accommodating of my requests, the temperature of the pool was perfect because it was warm, which I like. looking forward to my next visit in October!

My family’s favorite place in San Vicente! Excellent accommodations and friendly staff. Food in the resort it top notch and reasonably priced. My kids love the pool and playing on the pristine beach! Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful place with amazing service. The beach was so serene with powder-like sand. The rooms provided a good value because of the large space, and the service was amazing. Everyone on the staff was very attentive and helpful. Would go back! Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Must say, it was a great decision to choose this hotel. From the pick up at San Vicente airport to check in and check out, everything was a smooth process. Located on the Long Beach, it was a perfect getaway. Imagine having the whole beach al to yourself. They even arrange your breakfast, lunch and dinner on the beach side. Friendly staff and always accommodating. Special shout-out to Mr Santy for taking the extra step of showing what true hospitality is.

Overall, it was a nice and relaxing experience. We spent 1 week there and left very happy. Be aware of sand fleas. The resort is very forthcoming about this and offers citronella oil to all guests. Please listen to their advice. The pool was nice, however, not cleaned regularly. Wifi is available in most parts of the resort, with the occasional drop of service here and there late evening. We used Agoda to book the accommodation, and they were misleading on some of the activities available (e.g., no indoor pool, karaoke, or night entertainment). The resort is very much a perfect location to unwind and switch off the grid. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience👍🏻

The food was so good, clean room and the crew were so accommodating . The place was near the beach where you can relax while watching the sunset.
