Truly a Fascinating Escape Club Ambiance is a place you want to visit when you visit Jamaica. Since its first opening the hotel has retained its splendor beautifully to this day. The first thing you'll notice is the beauty of the marquee, the lobby, the restaurants. The room we had was well laid-out, comfortable, and roomy. The bed was one of the best I've every slept on in a hotel --amazingly comfortable and good sized. But even better is the service: it's exactly what you expect from a place like this, and precisely the type of service that you have missed at most other places. The staff makes your stay easy and convenient, going out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. A great option when you're in Jamaica! Club Ambiance embodies all that is typically Jamaican… and offers a fascinating spectrum of sights and activities by day and night.

This resort has become run down and a shell of what it once was. I've been there before my recent stay and I enjoyed myself, tremendously. However things have changed. My room was nice but bed was lumpy and hard. There were only two other guests there during my stay. The activities offered could not be done as the equipment was either missing or not working effectively. The jacuzzi was dirty and the Gym and club smelled musty and old. The food served daily lacked variety but was somewhat edible. The staff did their best to ensure I was satisfied during my stay, so I will definitely commend them for that. I know the resort was shut down for renovations some time ago but I believe there's still a lot that needs to be done as I'd love to see it restored to it's former glory.

I have given club Ambiance Resort 5 star 🌟 through past experience. First time to Jamaica 🇯🇲 was outstanding and the Resort, staff, food drink Jamaican people well me and the wife had the time off our lives especially me it was just one big party for 2 weeks i know im going back a few years but the memories will last forever it was that good when we got back home we booked up again for the following year and was not disappointed as soon as we walked into the hotel our photos were on display from the year before. All the staff remembered us and for the following 2 weeks we had a great time. Its hard to read the negative reviews about the hotel but who cares its the staff and the Jamaican people that made the holiday so special. Any one thinking of going i don't think you would be disappointed. We hired a local guy (wee laughy)who had a mini bus and so cheap that took us all over the island 🏝 🤣 he knew all the great places to go (Rick's cafe in nigril)port Antonio were they made the film blue lagoon were you could have a meal go snorkeling god i could go on forever. It was a really happy time and lots of great memories ❤ Jamaica 🇯🇲.

First time in Jamaica, excellent and super friendly staff. Just had to switch our room because the AC died over night. Well taken care of about that situation. Bar and service staff are very good. The entertainment staff is very well accommodating and a hoot to hang with. I will definitely come back next year.

This vacation is exactly what the Dr. ordered! We relaxed, ate wonderful meals, got to know a lot of the staff and learned so much about the culture. Our daughter got sick, Anderson took us to a Dr for her and then to the pharmacy. He went out of his way daily for us. The entire staff was wonderful. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to unwind and relax.

No other guests there while we were. The staff were great, but its run down and needs a serious overhaul. Beds are like sleeping on a concrete floor. Would be an amazing place if the owners put some work into it. Buffet only. No a la Carte service due to lack of guests. Food was ok. Only 2 choices for afternoon snack- hamburgers or grill cheeses. Would recommend if you want to be alone, but if you're looking for some interaction with other guests, do not go

Did not meet my expectations as it wasn't of the standard I expected, especially for an All Inclusive property. Serving of meals were disorganized and appeared as if inadequate amounts were prepared. Serving Staff were way too casual and gave the impression they are still in Training. Presentation of the dining areas were not as organized and layed out to accommodate easy traverse to and from the Buffet Line to the seated area outside the dining room in the opening. One hour after dinner started, got what appeared to us, as 'what left', as there was scrapes left over from what was put out and cold, there were no Service Staff to monitor, replenish or top up the trays. Dinner was horable, not for the palate/taste of the offerings, but due more to portion. It was observed that the Staff dined amongst the Guests with an air of over familiarly. The Chef (Breakfast), was inappropriately attired with no head covering and wore a floppy sport slippers around the buffet line and Dining Room. He was obviously not pleased at the speed at which the food went, based on the time the buffet line opened. Half an hour after breakfast started, there was scarcity of food in terms of choices, again. The presentation of the room was ok. The towel that decorated the bed was grossly discolored. The Bathroom is spacious which is a plus, however the taps in the shower area are in need of fixing/repairs. The Air Conditioned Unit was the biggest plus.....it worked beautifully. The grounds were kept and the ambiance was cozy and private. There was security presence throughout which made us feel secured and safe,....we thoroughly enjoyed that. I am not comfortable to visit this property again any time soon, nor will I recommend it. Not unless major renovations are done to the infrastructure and Training of the Staff, to be on par with basic industry standard.

We just returned from a one week trip to Club Ambiance. The room was very clean but hot water was not available and the water pressure was non existent. The headboard was not attached to the bed. It had a 1980's feel to it but it was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did the best they could with what they had to work with. The drinks were good but weak. Your options were extremely limited at the bar. It is advertised that there are 3 bars but only 1 was operational with no wait service at the pool so you had to walk across the resort to get a drink. The pool was large, deep and clean as well as the pool area. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas although many were broken and old. We saw staff maintaining the grounds often. The beach....what beach? What they are calling a beach is nothing more than a small 2 foot deep horseshoe shaped lagoon facing the nude beach area. Outside the lagoon was snorkeling. They pointed and said try there for the reef. Snorkeling was good but rough. You have a 2 hour window for breakfast, lunch and dinner and besides that you are out of luck for food. We will say the food was very flavorful but after a week you know exactly what will be served and the order they have it in the buffet. Very little/ no variety. Entertainment...Well if you want to listen to smooth jazz or their interpretation of Lionel Richie then this is for you. We went to Jamaica and was hoping to hear some steal drums (never) and local reggae. The night club looks like an 80's strip club with pole and all. The person in charge of excursions was NEVER around. We went down 3-4 times a day for 3 days and still was told she wasn't available. The front desk was helpful but not extremely friendly. They don't do excursions, basically they call you a cab and send you on your way with a driver for the day to where ever you want to go. Overall We would rate the resort a 2.5. The pictures a very deceptive.
