Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca

My wife and I recently visited Club Amigo in Cuba at the beginning of July. We've been coming here for years—this was probably our eighth visit or more, and we always enjoy our time here.||One of the main reasons we keep coming back is the beach—it’s absolutely beautiful. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and it’s a great place to relax and take in the scenery. It really is one of our favorite beaches. It's the perfect place to unwind, take in the sunshine, and feel completely at peace.||The staff at the resort are always kind and welcoming. The team goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This visit was particularly special, as they surprised us with a beautifully arranged breakfast and a romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary - it made our stay even more memorable.||There are also plenty of activities, especially if you enjoy music and dancing like we do. The entertainment has always been enjoyable and adds a fun energy to the evenings.||That said, there are a couple of things that could really be improved. First, the coffee was very weak—surprisingly so, considering Cuba’s reputation for strong coffee. We really hope they work on that for next time. Also, there are no designated smoking areas, which makes it hard to avoid smoke in public spaces. It would make a big difference if they created some proper smoke-free zones around the resort.||Even with those issues, we still really enjoy coming here. The beautiful beach, friendly staff, and relaxed vibe are what keep us returning year after year.

This was a truly amazing experience for our family here in Club Amigo! We arrived in the evening and the staff was so welcoming and offered delicious drinks, reception ladies were also very pleasant. A big shout out to Beatrice, the public relations lady- she truly went out and beyond to assist us in finding the best room, offering water and other amenities. The entertainment team, bar workers, cleaning ladies, and just overall- the workers are something different. They treated us like royals and we will never forget our experience here in Holguin!! 100% recommend!!

Our expectations were exceeded. We decided as a family to celebrate our youngest son's birthday at the Hotel Atlántico Guardalavaca, owned by Cubanacan SA. It was a perfect stay, with a highly professional team providing services, varied and exquisite cuisine, excellent hygiene in common areas and rooms, and beverage service that met our every wish. Ready to return. We felt at home away from home. Thank you all.

I have been going to Club Amigo Atlantico for over 20 years now. In the early days three or four times a year, and now twice a year. Around 80 times I think, so that speaks for itself. |It is an older resort, and just has that homely feel to it. The rooms are large and comfortable, and in the process of being renovated. The colours are vibrant and typically Cuban. |The staff are absolutely amazing and have become like family to me. It is a family resort, children are welcome and there is a kids club with plenty for them to do. |The food is good, organic and delicious. Sometimes there are items not available one day and then yes the next day. Cuba is going through very difficult times. |The view and the weather are always amazing. Now I am getting older I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else!

I have been traveling to Cuba for about 15 years and have stayed at many different resorts. Over 10 years ago, I discovered Club Amigo and have never looked back. It is truly my favorite place in the world. My family and friends have always had a wonderful time there. ||The staff and management at Club Amigo are exceptional. They welcome you with warmth and kindness, going above and beyond to make you feel like part of their family. The beaches are beautiful, the nightly entertainment is fantastic. There is never a dull moment,with something for everyone to enjoy. ||Thank you Club Amigo (my family), for always welcoming my friends and family with open arms. I love and miss you all.

Club Amigo Atlantico was very warm and receptive of my wife and myself. From the moment we arrived they were quick to check us in and made us feel right at home. We came for our wedding and they made sure each day before it was relaxing and stress free. Our guests for the wedding were treated just as well. We felt like family there. Special shout out to Albert and Dayana who both went above and beyond with the organization of our wedding. We seriously couldn’t have done it without them. Just returned from club amigo it is like our home away from home. The staff are friendly always helpful . Food is basic but always tasty. A great place to stay . The beach is beautiful white sand, the pool was warm and welcoming , drinks were wonderful made by great bartenders. Rooms are comfortable and kept very clean. We will be returning again in September.

I had the best 2 weeks in this resort! 2 friends and I enjoyed all it had to offer! Rooms comfy and cool, and quiet after 11 when shows end! Beach was spectacular and not overly busy. Swimming was great ! Weather was amazing as well ! Everyone is so nice and trying to do the best they can for you . We had Great service with all bars and food establishments! Ready to go back soon. Met so many nice Canadian people and Cuban friends! Internet was pretty good as well Pizza at Rico’s was great . Easy to get around as well and totally safe ! Please go here and enjoy for yourself !
