Great place to have fun, first of all you have to pay (16$) to get in, dancing floors, it has three floors, first one is crowded sometimes it’s played always Latino music, the second one you can go for it by the door behind the bar disk, it’splayed mix music, the third floor it’s rooftop, you can go up to smoke or take a little fresh air also there’s a chairs and tables in there

The entrance fee was 10 dollar per lady on a Sunday night, John’s security was recording me without authorization. I mentioned to him how his bouncer was acting toward me and a friend and we took our money else where. To reggae night. We asked for a last name and John who didn’t give me a last name to specify, he had a mole on his right face check. He did not let me speak he was being rude and looking for my info from the bouncer. I have the right to ask for a name when writing a review. Which he refused to give it to me a last name and proceeded to threaten me with the law even though I was not interceding with the door. And honestly people don’t need to feel threaten to go into a club to have fun and this is one of the clubs I heard him call me crazy even though I was only asking for a first and last name to mention on a review.

Love the place, love the vibe. Went on a Saturday night and was nit disappointed. Three floors w/rooftop. Drinks are alright. Good folks, not too crowded. AMAZING PLAYLIST, at least on the day I went. Floors are small yes, not like Marquee or Slate for eg, but still worth it. Enjoyable ambience.

I been in this new Club Cache many times, since the beginning of 2024. I have to say that my last visit on April 5 2025 was awful. The entre fit has increased from 14 to 20 and their drinks too. I was charged 20$ for a jack and coke and also I didn't like the bar tenders they gave me the wrong vide when I pay with credit card (I didn't get to see how much I was charged and the bartender gave herself 20% tip for a beer) also I noticed when you pay with credit cards you get a 20% charge automatically. The music is okay when it comes to the sound even though they lost the sound that April 5th. If you like to dance more bachata, merengue and salsa you should go there on Friday. Saturday they call it latin mix but it's not really so mix everything outplay salsa,bachata and merengue, but they do play reggaeton, Dembow, hip-hop, and everything else to the point that they forget to play bachata, cumbia, salsa y merengue. Advice: best way to go there is if you don't care much about what music they are playing, go with a lot of people and buy your own battle since it might be cheaper than buying a single drink and if you can go with cash and pay the bartenders with cash for you to have control of the tips since they like to give themselves tips. I WENT IN HERE TO HAVE A good time to experience the Latin culture. To think I had one gym bag that I Was let in with I paid my money and then I was ask to forcibly leave because I apparently fit a description that someone posing as a police officer for what benefit? DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACR

Super expensive! 20 per person entry and drinks too much for cheap alcohol. They also dont play good salsa, they mix with popular reguetton and latin hiphop. Very small dance floor and no where to sit. Did not enjoy myself and I was born in a latin country dancing salsa all my life. This was mediocre!

This place is not a serious dancing place. It is a disco with Latino music. Their website as well as their street poster promised a bachata party, but they played mostly reggaeton. The crowd was not dancers. I actually did not feel safe dancing with men who were there. I left after approximately 10 minutes, asked my money back, but I was refused. I certainly don't recommend to any dancers to go there.

It is Not a place for Salsa dancing , even though they advertise it. It’s just a Latin night club, playing mostly Latin pop music. $20 cover charge hurts for DJ music in some upstairs joint.

Come here to dance to mix latin music: pop, merengue, reggaeton, música tropical, salsa...3 floors all playing diff genres, including non latin on the top two floors and latin on the main floor. They host a free mambo lesson around 9pm on Saturdays. We came in at the tail end to see it wrapping up and they had a decent crowd. My complaint: they played hardly any salsa and the salsa selection the dj played was no bueno. Some of the music blurred the lines between salsa and música tropical and not good variety. Mostly fast songs too. A Latin Mix night can be disappointing if they don't mix it up equally. That is how I felt after rounds and rounds of bachata, merengue, reggaeton, etc. All of the other music was good, but if you are looking to dance mambo to some good stuff, I would go elsewhere.

As a Latin dance enthusiast, I've wanted to come here for awhile (although I'm told it's really just a club and not a place for "serious dancing"). I braved the rain with two friends on a Saturday night. We took advantage of the free 9 PM beginner salsa lesson, which was fun. Shout-out to the teacher, Andres - he's very patient and even though I know how to dance salsa, I appreciate the way he breaks down the moves for absolute beginners. Ladies can get in free before 10 PM on some days, and after that, it seems to be $16 before midnight. Not sure what the price after midnight is; in the past when I've walked past, the bouncer was saying $20, but maybe that has changed. That said, the night we were there, between 10-11:30 PM, it was pretty empty and low-energy. I'm not sure if it was because of the weather or what, but it was disappointing. There are 2 parts to the club - a Latin music part, and a Hip Hop/Pop/Techno part and you can go in between them. We checked out both - the music was definitely better on the Latin side. Even though more people came in, no one was really dancing. Everyone was just standing or sitting along the wall or at the bar. I know people need to warm up, but still! The DJ was good! 3 stars for the lesson, the tequila shot, and the Latin music, but I'm being generous. Note: coat check is $3.

Brought my sister here for her bachelorette party and turn out to be a nightmare, The bartender here is the worst, Abusing his "power" and discriminating latinas in a Latin night!!! Security goes around Pushing people to the ground, and then pretending they didn't do anything, and the manager will also side with them even if you have proof of them being aggressive for no reason Generally Rude staff, we bought tickets for an event and it really didn't matter cause the event didn't even happen .. just wasted our money Just skip the headache and go to slate or anywhere else in this city certainly you can find somewhere you will be treated with respect and not being pushed around to the ground !

I went with a group of 10 for the 9 pm salsa class, and we had a blast. I suggested arriving before 11 pm, as by 11:30 pm gets pretty crowded, and it could be hard to dance without banging into people. Despite that, we had a lot of fun dancing to reggeaton, bachata, salsa, and Rave. In terms of the drinks, I could not judge because I did not drink alcohol that night. But noticed the prices seem affordable $6 juices, $7 Beers, $10 Wines, and $12 spirit drinks. I overheard the amount of alcohol in the spirit drinks isn't much, but I cannot attest to it. I would recommend the spot if you desire to dance to Latin music.

This club made for a fun night. There is a rooftop for people to get some fresh air and socialize. It is also connected to other levels/bars that play different music. It wasn't overcrowded on a Saturday night (pre-covid, mind you). I'd come back. Street parking wasn't hard to find at all.

Wonderful salsa class on a Saturday night! My husband and I enjoyed the class and music that followed after. We liked the reggaeton set more than the salsa and bachata. The entire salsa and bachata songs were played but we still danced through the songs. We would definitely return!

Called and visited the place on Sunday and asked if it's busy inside, they said yes. Took 2x10$ and went inside saw it be deserted literally 5 people in the whole place. Went outside under a minute and requested to cancel, host said it's "not possible". Rip off place. Scamming people with their dishonesty.

I saw two floors place and roof top is amazing kind of VIP things apply for birthday party or if you comes with your friends for conversations and also a different dj's playing on the different floors, if you ready to dance indoor is your area, I loved there.

Must attend location for great live music. If you like dancing this is the place for you. I observed novice and experienced dancer enjoy themselves.

Really cool spot off of union square. Good hip hop music. If you're in the area it's a great place to party with a reasonably priced cover. They also have frozen alcoholic slushees, if you like those. This also has like a lye 20s early/ mid thirties crowd. With a couple of grandpas lurking. Overall I had a good time and would def go back. It's also really close to great dinner spots so it's in a really good place for dinner and dancing

We stopped by expecting multiple floors of music options but apparently 2nd hip-hop floor was close limiting us to only the main floor. Requested more variety of music, but the DJ Coronel was rude and unresponsive of request. He said it was strictly salsa night and he's only playing that. Being NYC , I expect a variety of music. Won't come back.

I've been here several times and it's definitely Top 5 Latin Clubs I've been to. Consistently good music and dope vibes.

Me and my friend were looking for a chill spot for bachata where we could dance on a Friday night and were happy to discover this place! There's a $13 cover for women before midnight, but we also got a pass to come again for a free and we didn't buy any drinks so we didn't mind the cover. The main level is decently spacious and never felt too crowded like some other Latin clubs I've been in. Sometimes the lights were a bit much, but overall the vibe was cool and we were rarely without partners. Lots of great classic bachata and there's a reggaeton room upstairs, but the DJ kept switching songs abruptly and there wasn't enough solid reggaeton so we didn't stay there long. Overall a non-pretentious dance spot with a good crowd and good bachata mix. Would definitely come back!

If you're looking for great music, the DJ for the Latin side will keep you moving if you're ready to dance. However, the experience had here was sub par in comparison to small lounges. This location has no room to dance and the drinks are overpriced and watered down. $80 bought 4 lemon drops (per request of the birthday girl) 1 whiskey cola, 1 hoy se Bebe and a bottle of water which cost $80. Lemon drops were terrible and instead of the bartender letting me know they didn't have the top shelf to make my specialty drink, I get a watered down spritzer with bottom shelf liquor. Of course I returned it as it was literally soda ice and a small dab of liquor. You're better off buying beer to get consistency. Cover charge was $15 for men and $13 for woman. $3 coat check. All in all, not a spot I'd return to spend my cash at.

Dis do not play the songs the crowd wants, bartenders are distracted on their phone do not give friendly customer service, do not recommend, especially if you want to request a song, very dissapointing.

How to have an awesome time at Bachateame Mama at Club Cache Fridays: Step 1. Take lessons at a dance school like Bachata Embassy. Practice a few sequences unless you have them down pat. Step 2. Invite two to three of your male and female friends because is infinitely more fun to go with your friends than to go alone!! Step 3. Dance with everyone you see -- especially with the people who are fiddling uncomfortably with their phones or who look like they are waiting for someone to ask them to dance. Help everyone feel like they are part of the party. Step 4. Buy a drink to support the club. Step 5. Thank DJ Alejandro for running the best dance socials in New York for more than a decade. Note that like most clubs, there are generally more women before midnight and more men after midnight. If you come early enough, there is also a class. Plan accordingly. The music is about 25% traditional bachata, 50% sensual bachata, 5% merengue and 20% classic salsa. Club Cache used to be literally underground in the basement of a theater on 46th street with god level dancers and performers every Salsa Thursday from 2004 to 2013. The venue hopped around a few clubs on 39th street for salsa and 48th street for bachata before settling at its current location at 13th street near Union Square circa 2017.

Regular at this club. I've also brought all my friends here! It's a bit small so it can get really hot inside but there's a coat check. Never had a bad experience and it's always a fun night. Wish it was open more days a week!

I came here twice, once for Friday bachata night and second time for Saturday Latin mix. I saw some people mentioning about the extra charges but I think they are steady and according to what described on their site in terms of the amount of charge. There is a girl sitting at the top tif stairs bag check at the door. I like that this location is convenient to come and open till 4am if indeed like to stay. The level of dancers really vary depends on the day. It seems less steady customers on Saturday especially on early hours. Many people were their first visit or occasional visitor of them. Good part of Saturday is free entrance for girls till 11pm and also free salsa lesson at 9pm. I liked Friday, the bachata night better otherwise. I met some nice people and enjoyed the dance. And dj played older classic songs. (I wish little that if he plaids recent bachata remix too time to time). One thing I do not like about this place is the photographer who take pictures with faces and post online. Just taking them in the space that is not big enough to hide individual identity make me uncomfortable, some people found me through Facebook from the photos and videos and name and likes etc. so I don't know about this part, I don't like it and almost make me think if I want to go to be taken photos. Still I like that they have bachata night. If the photo part is improved this place could be rated much better.

Club Cache is my favorite place in NY for Friday night bachata dancing! There's a cover to get in, but the music is always good and the crowd is unpretentious. Whenever I come here, I always lose track of time and end up dancing until close. Drinks are reasonably priced, but know there is a $15 card minimum, so plan to have a couple or bring cash.

Really nice place, with great music!!! The only reason I wouldn't go again is because of the rude and sloppy bartenders on the second floor. I tip every drink but they are obligating a 20% tip for mediocre cocktails that are already 15$ each, without telling you in a place that already has cover. Unfriendly and mediocre bartenders on 2nd floor who don't communicate well make this place look (since it's a Latin spot) ordinário.

Beware! This place tries to scam its patrons. It is technically two separate bars/clubs in one. The other bar is called "Bar 13". They take advantage of this, and lead people to the section they are not looking for. They do this in order to charge people an additional cover. If you go here, please be aware of this. It is an okay place once you get inside, but they use predatory practices to take advantage of people. Please beware!

Went on a Friday night for bachata. Way too packed, not enough space to dance, and ZERO air conditioning. Upon walking onto the dancefloor one immediately starts sweating. You would think that after charging a $15 cover to get in they would at least make you want to stay for more than 10 minutes.

Back in the days I used to go to Cache Club when they were located near Times Square...I have to say that I always had a good time there. However, the new location at Union Square took a 360° degrees for BAD. The location is very convenient, and the music is still on point... that's the only good things about their move. Everything else that you can imagine sucks. There is no dance floor, the space to dance is blocked with some huge columns in the middle, the tables are against the walls making the space to dance even smaller. There is no AC nor fans in the ceiling like before. People are sweating like pigs while dancing, I guess that's what it's expected but it's too much. The space to dance only fit about 13 couples, but they advertise so well and take pictures that make the space look like it could fit over 100 people in the dance floor. It gets so crowded that once you dance 3 songs you feel like going home. The bar is so crappy and expensive for what it is. The bartenders have attitude and pretend they aren't looking at you when you actually have been waiting for about 30 mins to get a bottle of water from them. I hope they re-consider to move to a better location, bigger and more comfortable for the customers. Since music is still great, they really should make their way to keep going. I felt like if they were violating the capacity limit for some reason, even though I couldn't find the sign for it. I just couldn't breath and imagine if there is an emergency, we'll be all trapped. No coming back anytime soon.

Best Friday night Bachata spot.. Lots of fun. They also start off the night with a quick beginners class teaching Salsa which pretty fun for non dancers. Would recommend it for anyone that likes Spanish music.

What I like about club cache- -I haven't experienced mistreatment from the staff. Some of them are quite friendly. -I like that the music they play tends to be more traditional Dominican songs, with a few modern bachata mixes too. What I dislike about Club Cache- The last 20 times I've come here have been similar experiences. I go because I have a free pass, and there is no other conveniently located Latin dance social on Friday night. There are 3 men for every woman on the dance floor. Many of the men are poorly dressed, elderly, and have predatory behavior. Some of them I have seen at socials for many years, and are clearly using dance as a pretense to grab and touch young women. I don't like to aggressively rush up to a woman the second a song finishes, and grab her by the wrist or lower back, so oftentimes, I am left without someone to dance with. I feel uncomfortable standing on the perimeter with around 6 to 12 old men in shorts and sneakers, staring at their prey. Around 11PM the volume gets EXTREMELY loud. This can be very uncomfortable when they play two repetitive merengue songs in a row. I would be so happy if they had discriminatory pricing like a no cover for Ladies thing. Sure, it's awkward when there are 2 bad male dancers for every woman, but when there are 3 men for every woman, that's a nightmare for everyone. I have arrived to the bouncer politely telling me to adhere to the dress code next time (no hoodies), which I appreciate. But then I go in and there are always half a dozen old men in cargo shorts and Reeboks in the summer, and just as poorly dressed in the winter. I always have a bad experience when I come here, but it's not because of the staff, it's because of the male patrons.

Came with a friend visiting from abroad, and had seen the Friday bachata event posted on Meetup and also checked out the website. It was raining and my friend was wearing a brand new white hoodie and a white T under. Unfortunately we weren't allowed in, the bouncer cited a dress code policy I hadn't seen posted online. Definitely put a damper on our night. I am not interested in coming back to actually go inside after that experience.

Amazing bachata party! Excellent music selections at a pretty venue. Wooden floor perfect for dancing! Convenient location, right next to the subway, good dancers, nice drinks, friendly staff, diverse crowd! Great way to pass your Friday night in NYC! Hoy se bebe!!! :) PS: I joined the bachata class at the beginning of the party. It was really fun! I'll definitely go back!

the bartender said to my friend that they "lost my ID and my CC" Are u serous?! W T F........................................................ We brought 17 people on a Friday night, we paid for dranks, and my friends card was on a tab. A few of us had tabs without an ID, and some required an ID. Talk about inconsistency. When 1 of the girls went to pay her tab, she was informed her CC AND DRIVER'S LICENSE was missing. They "gave" BOTH her ID and CC to someone else. Oh really, but it was charged within 30 mins in Little Italy..?? How CARELESS could these bartenders be?! Sounds pretty damn irresponsible to me. I get that things happen, but instead of being understanding, the manager was nasty and took the bar flap (the thing that separates the bar ) & hit hit my friend in the head. These employees were not nice or sympathetic or even genuinely sorry. When she got hit, they didn't care and when she got upset they got their security guards on her. She has been here so times prior and this time brought so many friends aka business for you, but this bar decided to "lose her ID and CC" Listen I loved this place but you bartender messed up and instead of being sympathetic and catering to us they literally threw us out. At the end of the day I'm writing this at 2:34 am which means me and my friends are not even that drunk. They are just getting rude. Go if u want, but there's plenty of other places with the same crowd and music who doesn't make amateur mistakes.

This club is for people who do not have a clue about Latin music. I guess it's ok if you just want to experiment with Latin dancing in Manhattan. Definitely not worth paying a cover.

club cache is quite a time but when Beylul Negassi walks in the door the place really gets going. if you're looking to dance to night away to some bachata music, this is the spot but make sure Beylul comes along because it's not the same without her

Went there for the first time for salsa night. First, the bouncer didn't believe that my ID was real so he made me walk over to another street to "check" my ID on the scanner that WASNT working. For the record I'm 23 and did not have a fake so I was shocked when it wasn't working. Very rude about it but I pleaded for them to let me in. 2. The bartenders were RUDE and said there was a $25 minimum on cards AFTER she made my drink. I said to take the drink back and she demanded I pay. 3. Salsa dancing is supposed to be comfortable, and I had one man in particular that was following me and would NOT leave me alone and he was creeping me and everyone else out. Bouncers did nothing, most establishments would kick people out for doing that. Overall the staff was rude and I won't be returning

This place has been the place to go on Friday nights for a while now. Consistently great music. Not repetitive from night to night. Dancers at all levels and a friendly atmosphere. The club is safe and clean, in a nice area with street parking, which is always a plus. The free lessons are always fun.

Music is always on point and always a fun party! It does get a little crowded but that's the same thing everywhere in New York City if it's a good party! A lot of great dancers come here. They take credit cards too which helps so much - ladies it's hard to find a place to hold bills when you are dancing and sweating!

I had such a great time here! Awesome music, great vibes and really friendly staff! Excellent place to dance the night away and enjoy the views of the city at the rooftop bar.

The venue is a great place for people looking for a cozy, laid back atmosphere with dancers of all levels. If you are a beginner, no worries. Come early and take the free dance lessons they offer. The instructors makes it so easy to learn. My 3 friends who never danced Bachata in their life were doing more than the basic steps at the end of the lesson. They were so excited to try them out on the dance floor. The special disco light affects makes the dancing even more enticing. What surprised me most was the consistency of the awesome Latin music all night. It was never a dull moment. We all danced until our feet ached. Totally worth it. I would highly recommend any visitors or locals who's looking for reasonable price drinks (great specials and selections) and good time on a Friday night!

I love this place. They have Latin music and dancing on Fridays and Saturday. If you get a free ticket beware if you are there close to the time they will be difficult about honoring it.

Come here for Bachata Fridays and always have a good time. The staff is more than accommodating and nice. It does get packed, but that's expected from an NYC club and nothing to really complain about since there are a lot of good dancers and the music is great.

Great place. Bathrooms are dirty. No place to sit unless everyone is up dancing. Come in groups since it's a small place. It's more fun that way.

I don't appreciate that the woman at the front stole money from me. I asked how much the cover was, she said $13, and when I gave her a $20 bill, she took the cash, and with the money already in her hand, told me that the cover was actually $15, and would only give me $5 back. That's not how deals work. I felt cheated and since this was my first time at club cache, it completely turned me off. In addition, the music was so loud that my ears hurt. I left because I couldn't take it, and my ears were ringing when I got outside (probably did some permanent hearing damage). Given my poor experience, I would not recommend this place to friends.

This place is great! I was hesitant to go because I saw that there were no reviews but their website looked promising and I wanted to take my cousin to try and learn bachata. We met so many nice, fun people. The place was full but not too crowded, and there were plenty of guys to dance with! The live music was great too. We left around 3 am and there were still people just coming in! Next time I am in NY I will definitely be back.
