"Sisal is a town located just over an hour's drive northwest of Mérida, on the Gulf of Mexico. It was an important port in the 19th century, but as ships got too big to dock there, the once-busy transport hub slipped into a quieter existence. It was recently named a 'Pueblo Mágico,' an official designation for towns that have preserved their heritage and traditions." - John Newton

Understated elegance. A luxurious corner of non-pretense in a quaint and well preserved area of Yucatan. The entire hotel oozes cozy and relaxation. The pool transports you to your own home garden, the secluded beach is a dream. The rooms are smooth and very well integrated into the local vegetation and landscape. Sleep, dream, relax, eat seafood, have a smooth mezcal, repeat.

This was a beautiful day all around. From the moment we arrived we were treated as very special guests. The hotel itself is very beautiful and the staff were accommodating, present, and very kind to us. We felt as if we had a private beach and the way they had it set up for us left us without words. The landscaping around the pool is gorgeous. I could go on and on about Club de Patos and how wonderful the people are, how amazingly beautiful the property and beach is, how delicious the food and drinks are, but I implore you to go and truly experience it yourself.

Its a laid back boutique lodge with attention to detail wall to wall. Even their staff are a fantastic team with a visible cooperation and no problemo approach to any request. The staff are wildly accommodating. The food which can be requested on your schedule is superb and can be delivered to the beach, your room, poolside... The rooms are spectacular. The pool is gorgeous. This place just exudes exclusivity without trying and a vibe that's chilled out. While the prices are not 'cheap' it is truly a highly value accomodation for those who want to be pampered, feel special, and want quality ...everything. The Yucatan has many diamonds in the rough and this one of them. Thanks for saving our weekend in Sisal. We will 100% try to return with friends and family soon. PS. The Umbrellas will offer shade on the beach but it will not block 100% of the sun sun. You can get badly burned from laying under the umbrellas for the day on the beach. Be cautious as its easy to stay at the beach front for hours...

This is such a beautiful hotel. Really great attention to design, private beach and nice pool. The rooms are breezy with an outdoor shower and hammock. Well thought out materials give it a nice feel. It's very relaxing, being a bit outside of the town center. We stayed here for a day, but could have easily stayed for several. Can't comment on the food since we didn't eat here, but there's a good selection of spirits at the bar. The staff is very friendly. Only issue was the double sized bed which was advertised as a queen (seems to happen often in the Yucatán). It was easily be 2-3x the price if it were in Tulum. Sisal is great for avoiding the touristy beaches, and has some good local options for restaurants specializing in seafood.

I can't speak more highly of Club Patos. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, the beach is near deserted, with wam swimmable ocean. The food is OUT of this world. I can't wait to come back!

We didn't know that you need to make a previous reservation, so we came all the way here and they didn't want to rent us a room :( , the town is so small and there's no hotel available near the beach so we had to leave, I wish they would have rooms open for the travelers without previous notification.
