Club Duquette

A friend of mine has been talking about this place for a few years now and he finally took me yesterday! He loves it for their high-end, cotton bandanas that come in a lot of cool, one of a kind prints. I was slightly confused by the place. They sell some cosmetic products, perfumes, hats, and clothes. They have a rack in the back for more thrifted/vintage items ranging from $15-$110, but they also have new shirts in the front of the store costing about $100. I found a gold ring that I liked and was nervous to ask about the price but it seemed reasonable at $30, so I got it! I’m really glad to have trendy shops populating downtown Woodlawn, because I’d like to see more business in my local area. I’m just unsure about the price point of this store. I will be back to check out the jewelry and thrift rack in the back though! The cashier we chatted with as we shopped was super kind and personable.

Club Duquette is a sacred place- every inch of it is set with intention and feeling. You arrive and are immediately greeted with genuine love. Their selection of products is a perfect reflection of the lives Morgan and Duquette have built- they are selling a way of life. Good vibes all the way. Their parties are the stuff of legends and are highly anticipated! I use my bandana from their shop on a daily basis and my husband absolutely loves his premium Levi’s from here as well 🖤

I placed an order with Club Duquette and mistakingly gave in incorrect address. As I was waiting for my shipment, one day my order on Shop showed returned. I reached out on the Shop messenger and within 30 seconds I had a response and was told they would make the change in their system and ship it out when it arrived back at their shop. Unreal service in a time of almost zero customer service everywhere you turn. I’m now a customer for life! Thank you for the incredible service!!!

Club Duquette has been a beacon every time I visit my hometown of Birmingham. The owners are family who invest right into their community, while remaining unwavering in their vision for their shop. The energy is cleansing & the goods they carry are curated with such intention - pieces for yourself, your loved ones, & your home. This place is a gem. I love following Duquette & Morgan's journey as they continue to build this shop & the brand.

Our favorite shop in Birmingham! Not only do we love the products they carry - from clothes to candies - but also their customer service is second to none. It’s like having personal shoppers who anticipate your needs before you even know them yourself. And if you need gifts for weddings, housewarmings, or any other occasion they have something that will fit the bill. And even during COVID, they have delivered and shipped whatever we have ordered. Treating everyone like family - what else could you ask for??

I cannot say enough good things about Club Duquette. Duquette and Morgan have a wonderful operation with an even better vibe going on in the heart of Woodlawn - an ever-changing and growing place. I admire the effort these two put in to making their shop successful, not only in operations and sales, but also in making their shop feel like a home away from home. Club Duquette is my favorite shop in Birmingham. Morgan and Duquette create such an inviting fun vibe and their shop is somewhere you want to go and hang out for a while. I love their jeans so very much! I have several pairs :)

✨killer vibe...unmatched customer service...raddest humans on the planet! impossibly cool levis, tees, bandanas, bags, jewelry and patches...amazing skincare and the best products to bring all the good feels to your home and life! shop local and shop intentionally with business owners like these two...they know their stuff, they love their community and they have their priorities straight! i cannot say enough good things about them! go and see for yourself! ✨

This business is the epitome of what Birmingham doesn't need. It is filled with white hipsters wearing boring Americana clothing. The owner of the establishment I assume greeted me by calling me "brother" I am a Black queer person and I was very much off put by this. As I was leaving the owner or employee also touched my shoulder unprompted and without consent, seemingly in a gesture of friendliness, I did not feel invited or welcome, I simply felt confusion. The art in the store, the wears and gifts are made and produced almost exclusively to appeal to white patrons, while the store is situated directly in the center of a historically Black neighborhood. This store is both tone deaf and one note, the note in question gross gentrification. -Vash (they/them)

Club Duquette is the best boutique in Birmingham. Duquette and Morgan make you feel at home while taking care of your needs.

This is a specialty clothing and merch shop in Woodlawn. They sell camouflage and military clothing from Vietnam, denim, and custom t-shirts. They also have unisex lotions, face creams and make candles in house. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of some of their goods goes to the local schools. The owner, his wife and son all are very friendly! Give them some Yelp love!

Great locally owned small business in the heart of Woodlawn. I stopped by on my way to the Cycle Cafe next door and was greeted with a friendly "hello" from the store owner Duquette. I didn't have much time as my toddler was in tow and rowdy, but he was so kind. He also has a young son and was very understanding that we might need to leave mid sentence. He walked us through the little store and showed us most of the merchandise. Shirts with local logos, natural body products, jeans, home sprays, and a good selection of gifts. I enjoyed browsing through the eclectic products. I'd recommend checking them out if you're in the Woodlawn area! Super friendly, super cool goods.

What a neat little shop in Woodlawn (PERFECT for locally minded last-minute gift shopping)! I buzzed in and out of here with a particular item in mind (the Burn Bear candles they carry are incredible and locally made) but also picked up a stylish pair of socks made in Ft Payne, AL (historically a textile town). The owner was operating the register and was mega kind and informative. I love places that support locally, sustainably produced items and it seems this place is chalk full of them. This would be the perfect place to stop by in conjunction with a meal or coffee at Woodlawn Cycle Cafe.

One of my favorite places in Birmingham. The owners stock some really unique pieces. They have parties occasionally that are so fabulous and unlike anything I have ever experienced before! It's a must stop in Birmingham, Alabama...

Great neighborhood shop with lots of USA made items. Super nice owners. Highly recommend.
