Club Hotel Davos - rooms only

This hotel has everything you may need except any chance of a night’s sleep. |I awarded two stars purely because the front facing staff are really pleasant. |Apart from that, this is a hotel to avoid.||The rooms are old and tired, they have no soundproofing and any conversations or movement reverberate around the room.|There are some rooms at the end of a long tunnel that leads from reception that are also next to the staff room and opposite the kitchen delivery door. |This means you get the bar noise until 10pm, the people returning from external bars until 2am, the kitchen deliveries from 4.30am and the people getting up for a pretty average breakfast from 06.30 am.|It is beyond awful.|The reception staff smile and nod and refuse to engage as there is nothing they are able to do, not even post signs reminding people to be quiet.||I stayed in other rooms around the hotel. None of them are better than poor.||I will never stay here again.

We didn't have good experience with Frosch and this hotel. Here are the things which require improvement: 1. Late check in (16.00) and check out (10.00) hours. When people come with the organized tours and arrive early in the morning, this is ridiculous to wait till 16.00 for the check in. 2. Ski rental - very limited working hours, you can rent only skis without boots, this is ridiculous, what's the point of rental then? And on the first day of skiing, we came at 9.25 (closing time is 9.30) and the ski rental was already closed. So we had to rent and pay extra fee at another rental place. 3. Poor selection of food for breakfast 4. Very little time for breakfast and dinner (only 1.5h). Also we didn't understand what was the reason of food presentation every day, it took extra time and generated queues. Also personnel is eating together with all the guests, so there were cases when we came later and we ran out of food... 5. Sauna is open till 19.00 and is super full after skiing. Why not making it at least till 22.00? 6. No room service and cleaning during the entire stay. We had to ask for change of towels and taking trash. 7. In general there is a feeling that everything in the hotel is done for the comfort of personnel and not customers. It really requires some proper management. We would not recommend to book vacation via Frosch, there are lots of other companies and hotels which can provide way more better service for the same money.

Club Hotel Davos is a practical, group-friendly hotel located centrally on Promenade in Davos Platz. With its “rooms-only” concept, it caters to active travelers, ski clubs, and families looking for straightforward comfort. Its proximity to Jakobshorn gondola and Davos Platz station makes it ideal for guests prioritizing access to slopes and public transport over full-service options.

Great stay. Super basic and clean accommodations. It’s definitely got an 80’s ski vibe but the place is well kept and tidy. Housekeeping was fastidious and the team was kind. Breakfast buffet had hot eggs, sausage and beans, as well as cold cuts, yogurt and pastries. Pool is on the left when you enter and there’s a nice bar and breakfast area on the right. Since it’s at the end of the promenade it’s pretty quiet.

It is one of the worst accommodation service I have ever experienced. We did not have enough hot water for taking a shower, the swimming pool was cold, they charged us ski pass of 89 CHF each person for one day even if the ski Center was closed!!! Their reply was that this is not their responsibility. Guess what ! It was not ours neither. You cannot charge a service you cannot provide . However, Stefano the waiter in the breakfast was very kind and cool ! :))

Rooms were large and clean. Very helpful & friendly staff.||Kitchen staff were awesome and catered to my Gluten Free request for every meal. Great location, within walking distance to everything we needed. We were given bus/train passes to use for the entirety of our stay, which we used to travel from one end the bus line to the other.||||** Safe in the room was NOT large enough to store my laptop.**

First of all, I was quite surprised on the details of our room and the size of the hotel. it is a 3 star hotel but has swimming pool and rooms are very clean and cozy. we enjoyed sauna as well. I particularly wanted to make a comment about this hotel thanks to the restaurant staff. Me and my husband took one week ski holiday with half board and we were so happy!! The manager was always very attentive and sees the whole flow so whenever we needed something it was done immediately. And special thanks to Lucia and Marco, just perfect service and we felt so special. every meal we had were all so tasty, fresh and plenty. I would never expected this perfect stay! It was not fancy but simply perfect for ski trip and we will recommend all our friends to try. So money worthy! We definitely come back again.

Basic, but great. Stay there every year All the staff are lovely, the rooms are fine with very hot showers and comfortable beds. Breakfast could be more varied, but it's alright! I like the place and am happy to recommend.
