The hotel has good accommodation, efficient air conditioning and spacious rooms. The gardens and facilities are good but there is an indoor pool and no massage available. We had half board. The breakfast is of a reasonable standard but the dinner although tasty had a limited number of choices. The room does not have block out curtains so you room is illuminated at 5am. Not what you want on a holiday. I mark this hotel 8 out if 10. It needs some improvements but it is worth staying there. Parking is onsite and free. A good location just 15 minute walk to town.

We really liked our stay here. The best part was the beautiful garden by the lake. Rooms are clean and staff was helpful. There are a few saunas and a swimming pool too. Half-board was included in our room rate (diner & breakfast). We were happy with the food and appreciated that they had several vegetarian options. Location: The hotel is a bit further from the center (coffee shops, bars, restaurants) but is close to a shopping mall.

Let's start with the booking process.||||I assume that if a property has invested in a nice English speaking website; then they will be able to address any questions i have.||||Not the case here. The website says that if you don't want to book half board (which we didn't - w just wanted B&B) then to contact the, I emailed - but only got what looked like automated e mails making reservation offers" which were all half board. I then wanted to ask questions about rooms - and all I got back was automated e mails.||||So I decided to just book and accept the half board price. We decided to treat ourselves and book suite for us; and a room closely for our son. I carefully read the website and worked out which building the suites were in so I booked my son's room type in the same building.||||The booked was accepted with my specific room request notes - so fingers crossed.||||When we arrived we were told out Suite was in Building A so they kindly had moved my son's room - to an upgrade. But here the issue lays. The suites are in Building B. I was told that the suites for 2 people are in Building A.. So I gave up arguing as it was clear that the suites I had booked had been allocated elsewhere. ||||The room we were given had a nice view and a huge terrace - but it was not a suite. A suite has a sitting area and there was none. In fact our son's room was larger than ours. When I went back to reception to discuss it they offered me a discount but did not accept that they had misallocated. The reality is that when you are dealing with a language barrier you just have to move on.||||But it left a sour taste and made it hard for me to enjoy our stay.||||The air conditioning is quiet and efficient and the rooms had dressing gowns and slippers which was nice. The reception staff (expect for the check in drama,) are really nice and do their best with limited english. They were very helpful the day we wanted to catch the bus to Tihany (which is easy to do from this property). We were correct in not wanting to book half board - the quick look we took at the evening meal buffet made us decide to eat out each night. Breakfast was OK but not amazing and frustratingly the orange juice came out of the machine is a dribble every day. When i asked staff members I was told I wasn't pushing the button hard enough. It never improved.||||They have a lovely small beach with stand up paddle boards for hire. We also hired a yacht and skipper through the hotel. However the skipper spoke little english and didn't involve is in the sailing at all. We are also not made aware that this payment was required in cash at checkout. That is absolutely fine - but my issue was being told at checkout and not ahead of time. The hotel conveniently has an ATM machine.||||The in house 10 pin bowling and games area is great and there are tennis courses and apparently a mini gold (which I could never find). It would be really helpful if they provided a site map at check in. WIFI is slow slow slow.||||The restaurant/bar looks out into the car park which is a disappointment and there is no longer any food and beverage at the beach (again a disappointment ). The swimming pool stinks of chlorine so we never used it. It was not appealing to swim in a hot pool which was over chlorinated.||||||The hotel is about a 20 minute walk into town for alternative food and beverage options. There are two supermarkets very close by which is great to stock up on drinks and snacks. ||||So given all the ups and down - when we come back to the Balaton area (which we will do as we enjoyed our time in the area) we will look elsewhere for somewhere to stay.

The Club Hotel is about a 20 minute was from downtown Fured with a very nice sidewalk connection.||The facility itself is beautiful. The rooms are modern and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and serene. ||I did not use the spa. ||The lake frontage is relatively small, but there is a cute little area right on the lake owned by the hotel. So you can go in and swim. There is also a small boat landing.||The reservation comes with a buffet breakfast and dinner. For dinner, you may want to go off the property.

From confirming reservations, choosing the room with the staff's advice until the checkout time, reception ladies were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. During our three nights stay in the beginning of September, we were always greeted with smiles. Our wonderful upstairs room in the middle of the main building had a huge terrace with great view. Our room, bathroom, hotel lobby and all other areas were spotless. ||||Breakfast was good with usual selection for buffet. Restaurant's lunch / snacks were great, inexpensive and served by a very friendly accommodating bartender.||||Dinner was included in the room price, so we've decided to give it a try on our first night there. It was a buffet style self serve dinner. Nothing special food choices....Was not great, but was not bad either....Perhaps because it was already off season...Other nights we had dinner elsewhere. ||||When we come back to lake balaton, we would definitely stay at Club Hotel Fured as we loved the place, it's grounds with private access to lake and it's location in the region.

Excellent wellness hotel in a quiet location, a little further from the center, but a relaxing walk in 15-20 minutes can go directly to the center of Balatonfured. A large shopping center is a short walk away. The hotel has a beautiful landscaped grounds with lots of greenery, its own harbor and wellness center. The beach is a bit small but pleasant. Rooms are spacious and modernly furnished. The food is delicious, delicious choice and every day has changed, I appreciate thematic meals during the holidays.

Friendly staff, they replaced our damaged tv immediately. We rented a bike to explore Tihany and played mini-golf. Quiet place to stay and not too crowded. For Hungarians they accept all kind of SZEP cards.

Very calm place. Very tasty kitchen. Well equipped territory. Beach is not the best, for small kids deep enough, but for adults is more or less OK. The room is clean, and has a possibility to sit outside (table + chairs). A bit costly. There is a sauna and bath inside the hotel, don't forget to use it. Bowling and billiards as well.
