I loved this hotel!! My single room was very small with a twin bed, small balcony, and a good bathroom. It was adequate and perfect. The breakfast (not included 15 euros/day) had a great selection and the best croissants I had in all of Italy. The front desk staff were responsive and lovely. The location was great: nice neighborhood away from the Rome crowds and craziness. Easy walk to a metro station and 3 stops to the Vatican. Price was incredibly reasonable for Rome. It was perfect— would recommend it without hesitation.

This was my first visit to Italy and only my second solo visit in a foreign country and I enjoyed all of it. Hotel staff were welcoming and my single room was a good size with a balcony (room 147). Everything was clean, with good facilities and well presented. Breakfast was really good value and wide range of choice . If you're a full English breakfast addict, you will be disappointed as whilst scrambled eggs were a daily option, beans and chopped tomatoes were replaced by other vegetables and cooked options which were welcome alternatives which I'm now going to try at home. The hotel was in a great location, with good links to city centre by metro (quickest and most direct) or bus which run until late and feel safe to use which i welcomed as a solo female traveller. €29 for a 7 day pass which you can use on all public transport including Campino airport (no trams running for a couple of months as its electrical system is being updated). The local high street has a choice of shops but these close relatively early in the evening. There are a number of bars that are walking distance from the hotel and weren't very busy but I only visited late after coming back from the city. I ate in the city and returned to the hotel around 21:00-22:00 as the weather was dry (November) and I was able to continue sightseeing even after dark. The hotel bar is relaxed and under used even though the prices were reasonable so definitely a place to hang out if the weather is poor. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location, attentive and friendly staff that contributes to a calm atmosphere. However, the breakfast offered is standard and could be improved. It is worth noting that the bathroom had some cleanliness issues, including the presence of cockroaches and a dripping faucet. Based on these observations, the hotel may be better classified as a 3-star establishment rather than a 4-star one.

Strongly recommend, location is perfect, quiet yet near metro station. Service is more than great and rooms are realy well equiped and cleaninnes is on another level. Breakfast is varied and tasty and staff is very polite and helpful. Overall 10/10 experience and I strogly recommend this hotel; Plus it's very affordable. If you are ever staying in Rome and want to see as much of it as possible in a period of few days, this hotel is a place to go, given it is near metro station and clean for sleeping, bathing and having a meal or coffe in the morning.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were truly impressed by the kindness and warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The team was always available, polite, and ready to assist with anything we needed. We were especially touched by the handwritten welcome note in our room – such a thoughtful and personal touch! We were also offered welcome drinks, which was a lovely gesture after our trip. The room was spotless, and everything was extremely clean. Sheets and towels were changed daily, which we really appreciated. The hotel is located very close to a metro station, which made it easy to reach the center of Rome during the day. In the evenings, however, we chose to stay in the area to avoid the hassle of traveling back late – and we were happy to find nice local options nearby. On our last night, we were pleasantly surprised with a small farewell gift from the hotel – such a sweet way to end our stay and something we will always remember. A big thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so special. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to others!

This is a very good hotel. Staff were friendly and gave us a free room upgrade, hotel itself was very nice and the rooms were clean and nicely made up. Also a great location in a quieter residential area. A little far from the city centre but very close to the metro, so the best of both worlds. ||Only two small issues:||1. The three-legged bedside tables are only really stable when pushed into a corner. When we arrived one of them was placed on uneven flooring leading to a spilled glass of wine. Not a big deal, but a little annoying.||2. Housekeeping staff ignore do not disturb signs. We do not like anyone entering our private space while staying in any hotel, so always leave the sign on the door, but every time we returned to the room in the evening we found the bedclothes had been changed. I know that some people appreciate this, but it made us feel a little uncomfortable. If there is a do not disturb sign on the door staff should not enter whether or not the guest is present. ||All in all I would recommend, but I would ask the hotel to be a little more respectful of its guest's privacy.

We had a great stay here! Really liked our room. Right next to bus and train stop, so convenient to get around. Staff was very nice. But the highlight of our trip was the bartender/barista in the lobby Vilmar. He was so kind and provided exceptional service. We would grab a drink just to say hi to him. Thank you for making our trip so great, Vilmar!

I stayed at Clubhouse Hotel for 3 nights and was honestly amazed by the service. The staff is the highlight of this hotel—every single person I met was extremely kind, polite, helpful, and respectful. From the reception to the bar and cleaning staff, everyone treated me so well that I genuinely felt like I was staying with family. Even late at night during check-in, there was one staff member working alone, yet still welcoming and professional. Over the next days, I met more team members—each one as kind as the last. This kind of consistent friendliness is very rare, even compared to many hotels I’ve stayed in across different countries. My room was always cleaned on time, right after I left it each morning. I never had to ask for anything twice. The food was delicious and generous, and the bar was affordable and convenient. The hotel is clean, cozy, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Yes, the room size is a bit small, but honestly, the warm energy of the hotel and staff more than made up for it. It didn’t feel like a problem at all. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. The people here will make your stay truly special.

Yelp
Front counter staff was awesome. They held our bags until check-in, and also for a bit after check-out. WIFI was free and fast. Elevator was kind of small. Wife and I had to split up when we brought and removed our luggage. The room however was very, very small. Wife booked a queen bed. It was a pain moving around. Especially with our luggage. There is a mini bar available, at a cost. We removed everything and stored bottled waters we purchased from a store nearby. We noticed they had rooms with a king sized bed that was significantly bigger. I would suggest looking into that before booking. Unless cramped spaces are your thing. There's also a lobby, and an outdoor patio that people can use to lounge around. Including a bar across from the reception desk.

Yelp
My husband and I went on a trafalgar Italian dream tour and this was our last night hotel stay. Location: You will need to take a taxi or bus to get to the more populated city area. Room: It was a bit more "modern" in decor compared to the first hotel (pinewood hotel) in Rome but it was more cramped in size. Bathroom: cramped and difficult to close the door. The toilet water seemed like it was running all night. You can clearly hear your neighbors when they flush or take a shower. Breakfast: continental breakfast with reasonable food. I would not re visit this hotel if I ever returned to Rome. I would go for a place closer to the city.

Yelp
I had an absolutely exceptional experience at this hotel! The staff was phenomenal- very welcoming, warm, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very clean, updated, new mid century minimalistic decor, yet very warm and comfortable. I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone! The value for the money was incredible, and the location is convenient.

Yelp
This is NOT a four-star hotel. Two, more like it. The neighborhood is awful. Far away from anything

Yelp
We booked this room mostly due to the location & proximity to a restaurant we planned to try on our overnight between arriving in Italy & leaving for Tuscany the following morning. The location was...fine...but definitely further away from things than we anticipated. We walked in the rain towards the Vatican for dinner (8pm-ish), and decided we would feel better taking a taxi back after dinner (which we did). That being said, for a quick stop-over, the room was nice and clean, and most importantly, a great price! If we were staying in Rome for longer, though, we would probably stay closer to the city center...
