Club Med Columbus - Bahamas

We spent a week at this resort and overall had a pleasant experience. The GO staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to More Z, Village Manager, for leading such a great GO team. Behrooz, Sacha, and Miaw at Sailing were wonderful. Sacha, the DJ, played great music and created a fun atmosphere. Hannah was very friendly, and Marie at the bar was lovely and attentive. The beach is absolutely beautiful with a stunning stretch of sand and water. Our rooms were spacious, which we appreciated, but they are extremely outdated and could really use renovation. One thing to note for future guests is that there are sand bugs at dawn, so be sure to bring bug spray with you. Overall, the staff and natural beauty were the highlights of our stay, but the rooms did not match the level of the rest of the experience.

Had an amazing week with my family at Club Med Columbus Isle! Loved e-biking around the island and there is no crime whatsoever — all the locals are super friendly. We also did jet skiing which was super fun, shoutout to Manolo and Matt. More, the chief of village, was very warm and friendly, and made sure we had a lovely stay. All the G.O’s are super nice and social, loved connecting with and meeting them! Super good tennis with great instructors, definitely appreciated as we are a tennis family. Shoutout to Andrea, Charles, and Dylan! This is our 9th stay at a Club Med, and this was by far the best one!

It is amazing how quick the resort recovered from the Hurricane. Everything is fixed or close to it and freshly painted. The GO's were very welcoming. The food was fantastic!!! The drinks were good and Allon made the best Bahama drinks while dancing behind the bar. The sailing GO's went all out on the Armada! We absolutely loved our stay at Club Med Columbus in the Bahamas. The beach is simply breathtaking, with an idyllic turquoise blue that looks straight out of a postcard. This resort has a relaxed atmosphere and is mainly focused on water sports — catamaran sailing, jet ski, snorkeling, and scuba diving — which made our stay both active and fun. The sailing team is outstanding: always available, incredibly helpful, and enthusiastic about giving advice and organizing armadas or regattas. Their energy truly made a difference. The entire team, i.e. Behruz, Miaou, Loic, Sacha and Leandro are all dedicated to make your experience unique. The entire staff is extremely efficient and welcoming, under the excellent leadership of More, a wonderful and very friendly Chef de Village. Whether it was the GOs, the kitchen staff, the service team, or housekeeping, everyone was professional, kind, and attentive. All in all, this is a truly friendly and convivial resort, and we already know we will be returning very soon. Highly recommended! 🌴🌊

I was a part of the first group of vacationers to arrive at this resort the week it reopened after rebuilding from the hurricane that impacted the area just 6 weeks prior.||||It was an honor to support the resort and island in this way, and my week there was incredible.||||I will say my biggest highlights were through my various solo explorations of the island, but also must give a shout out to the following team members:||||The dive crew for making my diving experience there a great and fun one! It's such a seamless operation!||||Kayvohn who not only helped me in making my bike trip around the island happen but also for his kindness and meaningful chats!||||Dylan for his overall positive vibes and talents, and for making me laugh as much as I did! OUAIS!||||Thank you to all and keep on shining!

This is hands down the most beautiful beach I have ever seen—powder-soft sand and the bluest water imaginable—and that’s saying something, because I’m a true beach gal. The island feels untouched and pristine, like a secret you’re lucky enough to discover.||The locals and resort staff are some of the warmest, kindest people I’ve ever met. The scuba diving was absolutely phenomenal—drifting over dramatic underwater cliffs and swimming alongside sharks was unforgettable. Huge shout-out to Ann, Julian, and Ben, who made every dive exceptional.||So many other standouts made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely at home: Gonzo, Dylan, Andreas, and Gaby (who gives the best massage I’ve ever had). And Ursula at the beach restaurant—where the food and views are equally incredible—is truly a special person. I hope we stay in touch.||If you’re looking for complete and utter relaxation, a sense of total escape, and the feeling that you’ve landed on your own Gilligan’s Island, Club Med Columbus Isle is absolutely the place to go.

I had such a wonderful time during my stay! The entire experience was so enjoyable from start to finish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. A special shoutout to Andrea, who was an incredible tennis instructor — patient, knowledgeable, and so much fun to learn from. His positive energy and lovely personality truly added to the whole experience.

We had never joined staff on the opening week of a Club Med, and our experience was wonderful. With only 3 flights into the island per week, we had the resort nearly to ourselves for a few days, and enjoyed the literal calm before the storm (Melissa). The land sport team was super fun and we had a lot of fun with Chrisa, Andrea, Jezalyn, and Marvin. Kyle was super at the pool, and the amenities and food met and exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!
