11 All-inclusive Ski Resorts for Your Next Winter Getaway

"Club Med Saint-Moritz Roi Soleil is as idyllic as they come, boasting an enviable location at the base of the Swiss Alps. The resort comes with 350 kilometers (about 217 miles) of ski trails to explore, along with a few other stellar activities, like snow hiking, cross-country skiing, and swimming in the property's heated indoor pool, which offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks." - Travel + Leisure Editors

This was our first time at Club Med and we had a blast. The St Moritz location is such a good value for the money! The ski, the food and services were excellent. Some said the resort looks tired, but I found it filled with small luxuries and super comfortable. The desserts were out of this world exquisite on most days. Super!

We have visited the Club Meds at Alpe Duez, Peisey, Les Arcs Extreme, Aime La Plagne, Serre Chevalier, Cervinia, Chamomix, Val Thorens and Pragelato twice.||St Moritz was the most expensive one that we have visited, and unfortunately it didn’t really live up to the luxury price tag (Peisey Vallandry was a lot less expensive and had a much better atmosphere / vibe). ||So where did St Moritz go wrong? ||Too Hot - everywhere apart from your room where you could open the window.||Dining Room too small - it’s good by most standards but after other Club Med’s this one was a poor comparison. ||Lack of Information - our table for nine people was given away at 7.30pm one evening (we were never given this information) ||Mountain Restaurant - too small - food cold, no wine offered, given a strict 30mins to eat and give the table back. Staff coming and asking you to leave when you still had food on your plate. More like school dinners than a Club Med long lunch. ||Ski shop manager was very rude. Noticed the skis had not been serviced properly - had a gouge out of them - when taking them back after only half a days skiing we were charged 32 euros. It is a shame as all the other staff were brilliant, the rooms sizes great, the cleanliness superb. ||Why no music and dancing outside when returning from Skiing, no letter to explain check out, no ceran wrap and note on our last breakfast to say ‘you are ||Welcome to make a snack for your journey - something Peisey did when we only had 1.5hrs journey. Here we had a 3 hour coach transfer. On the flight we got a bottle of water and chocolates. For the 3hr coach journey nothing was offered. ||This might sound a little picky but after visiting all the other Club Meds we pay more because we love these nice touches that we have become used to. ||Every other Club Med managed to get a lot more people up dancing and interacting - here it just didn’t seem to work in the same way - maybe due to how hot it was inside ? ||Overall we still had a great holiday, just not up to the usually amazing Club Med Ski standard we have been spoilt with before.||

This resort has great value for money. The ski instructors and ski with a group arrangement works really well and I learned a tremendous amount. The rooms are super well-organized (a little dated) and comfortable. It was a great all-inclusive ski experience.

A lovely hotel, in a good location, great food and service! Special thanks to Tina in the restaurant, who served excellent Italian food!! The room was large and the bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and two sinks, and an excellent view of the mountains. Hotel is a 10-minute walk to the gondola, with access to an extensive ski area. ||||Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the back of the hotel, as a number of people complained that the rooms at the front were very noisy at nighttime.

Firts time at Clubmed and probably last one. The hotel is old, Very old. The bedroom and bathroom were never upgrade . The staff at the sky reception were very rude. the ski school instructors are very rude too, with no empathy and patience. The guys that work in the equipament room were the worst, unpolite and rude. I stayed for a week and they didn't vacuum my room any day. The good thing was the food, the open bar and the portuguese staff, very friendly people. Mr Jose who works in the kichen is amazing.

We attended our first Club Med at St. Moritz for a week of skiing from January 3-13, 2025. Registration was organized however there was no orientation as to how things work, lockers or events. This could be alleviated by putting a QR code on the packet with the passes and keys upon registration. Another example was there were theme evenings we had no idea about. Not sure how one would find out about this, however our agent is very thorough and there was no mention of these evenings. The room although basic was clean and the beds very comfortable. Previous reviews commented on the lack of outlets, so I bought a traveller power bar that did the trick for our charging needs. The access to the Signal tram was a 5 minute walk which was great. The town centre is a 15-20 walk which was great as well. Considering the number of people they feed we thought the meals were good. There was only one meal that was not good as the beef was so rare you could not eat it. Our biggest complaint is that dinner begins at 7pm which is way too late and the rush for the “feed trough” was terrible at 7pm, so we waited until 8pm to eat. Families with children should not be waiting until 7pm to eat. This is an easy fix. We skied on our own and had a semi private lesson. It was the best 2 hours and money spent as the tips provided greatly improved our skiing confidence. Overall our experience was good, however we would not do another Club Med. We’ll opt to a private hotel with arranged ski passes and enjoy quieter and less stressful meal times.

As a Club Med fan for many years, I was disappointed with Roi Soleil Club Med St Moritz. I have heard that the facility is leased by Club Med over the winter season which perhaps explains the difference from their other resorts. The good: - Amazing location, like a postcard, with regular local buses into the town (3 euro) or a 30 minute lovely walk. - Lovely gym program for non skiers like myself, run by Julie who is a wonderful instructor. I did yoga, Pilates, stretching, and guided walks. - great gym facility spotlessly clean - Beautiful pool overlooking the snow, with lovely sauna and steam room facilities and aqua classes. - Rooms are basic but very functional and clean, well laid out and beautiful views over the mountains. I have a 5 star for this as I think it represents fair value for money. - the usual Club Med excellent ski program The disappointing - when we checked in there was a minimal welcome, in fact not very friendly, not providing any info on the facility or service offerings - the food was basic, not the usual fabulous quality, and less than half the choices/variety. On the slopes, the Club Med restaurants are very poor quality. - the overall party atmosphere and GO spirit was missing - for those who are used to this and appreciate the fun Club Med vibe, this resort was lacking. Despite this, it is good value for a week skiing and there are many people who we met who come every year.
