"Located at 1,460 meters (almost 4,800 feet), the Valmorel's luxury chalet-style apartments are ideal for longer-term getaways. The skiing opportunities include miles and miles of runs in the gorgeous Aigueblanche region. There's plenty of fun for ski bunnies off the slopes, too, including miles of hiking trails and a spa by Sothys, along with a plethora of children's activities like kids' camp, ski lessons, and more." - Travel + Leisure Editors

We would like to thank all of the team at the Petit Club au Valmorel: Aurélie, Nathalie, Nolwen, Elina, Enjah, Hortense, Justine, Julie, Tiihany, Jessyca and Lea, for taking such amazing care of Olivia. She took the introduction to ski class with you, and with ESF who we would also like to thank, she had the best week!! The skiing and the spectacle, and all the activities were perfect for her and she loved it. Thank you!! ||We would like to thank the team in the Baby Club, who looked after our Charlotte for the week in such a kind way. Thank you to Océane, Claire, Clarysse, Chloé, Océane, Océane, Louise, Laura, Ambre, Pauline, Cécile, Manson and Romain!! ||We highly recommend Club Med Valmorel, everyone there is just so lovely, attentive and kind. We will be back again next year for our 3rd year 🥰❄️🙏

We enjoyed our stay because of the skiing and our amazing instructor Serge, but we probably wouldn't go back to Club Med again for several reasons:||||1. The organisation of the ski school groups was a complete shambles. I had specified our preferences before the holiday but that had all been changed when we arrived and no one seemed to know what was going on. Our children (10 and 7 who had skiied before) were put with the Ourson baby group and had a tedious morning standing around before we could move them. Also we missed the beginning of our lesson because we were trying to sort it out with no one available to ask. If Club Med had just kept the groups I had chosen all would have been fine.||||2. The decor of the hotel is oppressive - all red and black - and looks dated and tired. Seating is uncomfortable, beds were hard and the baths took hours to fill.||||3. The food was excellent in places but at breakfast in particular we were disappointed. It was hard to eat healthily - most mornings the only fruit available was grapefruit or tinned. No cooked mushrooms or tomatoes. Cold porridge. The coffee is from self-serve machines and was horrible.||||4. It was very very busy - at lunch it was hard to find anywhere to sit to eat and we found the large numbers of people everywhere a bit much.

We arrived very early in the morning and the check-in by Ben and Angela was done so smoothly. Knowing we had travelled more than 16 hours, they did their best to have our rooms ready for us. ||Service during meals in the restaurant was also really good and we are thankful for 2 of the executive chef who were able to help explain to my parents the vegetarian options available for them. ||Staff at bar are very quick with service of the drinks and you don’t have to kept waiting long. Thanks to Itay for always accommodating to our orders.||Thank you to the staff from the chalet as they are very pleasant to chat with and enjoyed our meal times with them at the restaurant.||Boutique manager was also a very nice lady who is always smiling and greeting customers that come in and very helpful. ||Ski instructors were very helpful for beginners but moves at a very fast pace and not everyone can keep up. But it’s truly good experience.||Only setback is most people speak French and may not understand English. Especially the bus service so best to speak to the driver first then they can advise on the alighting point.||Overall it’s a beautiful place that one must visit. Super calm and peaceful that makes you forget everything.

What an absolutely amazing experience! Kids club was so good, they looked after my little one so well (special thank you to Ju for keeping me up to date on how my son was getting on!) and we managed to ski for 5 days. The food was great with many variations by mixing it up every evening.

The resort is well positioned with ski in and ski out.||The resort has good facilities and the food choices are amazing!||The food is often cold.||The hotel is fairly cold.||There were a few things that needed repair in my room.||The reception staff don't know a lot about the ski lesson times etc, in fact they told us the wrong time to meet, it's good we checked.||Some things in the hotel were broken such as the pool table. We wasted money on games we couldn't finish.||The rooms are quite small. The beds are not very comfortable.||The design of the standard premium rooms is a bit strange in that when someone is in the bathroom area, you have to walk throuigh there to go in and out of the front door of the room.

The place was highly recommended for kids. I still agree but till 8 years old. They have activities and they will have a lot of funs. We handed over the 10 years old kids and left to another city for the day. We are supposed to pick them back from the club . The kids called us from the chalet that they left the club, and they are alone and asking about where we are. We raised our complaint to the hotel management, and the next day, they kept a host to take care of them . The idea was if something happened to them as they weren't unsurpervised, and they managed to oversmart the team and leave. We booked a chalet, and the team of the chalet was amazing . Especially Florence, who was in touch with us ahead of check-in. Organised for us all the booking and transportation and activities. On another note budget for the ski equipments are they are not included in the rates. And finally the buffet is very good. Especially dinner. They do their best with different varieties.

Just spent one week in a chalet at this property. The experience was terrible. They were shot staffed, service was terrible: always late and then, apologize, promise to improve tomorrow, and then the same thing happens the next day. Gave us cheaper accommodations than what we paid for. Paid for 3 bedrooms, got two. Classic bait and switch. Had to shovel snow off steps from the street down to the chalet, so family and others won’t slip and fall. The food at the property is sub par at best. Breakfast at chalet was on time once out of seven days. The only consistent thing at this property are their apologies.

Great stay!||||We had a fantastic New Year’s Eve week at Club Med Valmorel.||||Started our stay with a little hick up but the team recovered fantastically.||||Our stay was up to Club Med standards and with a great New Year’s Eve party!||The hotel director (Maxime) and the team where outstanding.||||The reason why I’m writing the review is cause one person stood out completely.||||The Sports & Event Manager, Lucas, made our stay thoroughly wonderful. We met him last year in Les Arc, he welcomed our kids with a big hug and we saw him during our stay all over the place. He was always making the difference with his team! From starting a party at noon next to the slopes, cutting ham during a cocktail or assisting the bar team after midnight on New Year’s Eve. He was really every were and you could see the great match he has with his team and all the guests! Looking forward to see him in the future!||||Also thank you to the ass restaurant manager, Guillaume, for reserving our table for the week and happy to meet Samy again (ski shop), fantastic person!||||Ski, the slopes are perfect for families and groups. The domain is not huge but perfect for winter holidays with the kids. For more fanatic skiers, I would suggest other area like Les Arc or Serre Chevalier.||||Food, waiting lines at the buffet were quite long and require some attention from the team. ||||Gaétan
